I really enjoy factory tours. It’s always interesting to see how stuff is made. I got to tour the FN plant when I was stationed at Ft Jackson, SC and see where they made some of the weapons I’d used in the army, which was very cool. Glad you were able to see it and it’s very cool they let you record the video. Thanks!
Love me an FN!!
I received my titanium Maverick just over a week ago. I must admit that I was a bit nervous whilst waiting for it to arrive, after hearing about some of the issues others have had.
Mine had none of the problems that had been reported, and I was very happy with it, it cut really well and oozed quality.
But I noticed that one of the scales had been machined incorrectly, so emailed some pictures over to Tactile and a day later they offered to either ship me some new scales or a big discount from a future order. ( I couldn’t send the knife to them, due to the risk of seizure by UK customs, even though it’s legal to own here!)
9 days later I received the scales, and now the knife is perfect.
Really good customer service from Tactile.
Mistakes are going to happen when a new company are figuring production out, but they couldn’t have done anymore to resolve the issue, very impressed!
Wow. This made my day. My dad was a machinist who owned his own shop. He didn't make knives but there's so much here that's familiar. Thanks, Jerad and Kara, and thanks, Tactile!
That is awesome! AND THANK YOU
My dad was a machinist too in Dallas Texas on Mockingbird Ln his shop was J&M Tool Company.
Mockingbird lane, Isn’t that where the Munsters live ?
@@Antimatter. not the one in Dallas Texas lol
love how transparent tactile was about their process. hopefully this information will help the entire knife industry. Excellent content.
Thanks!
This is why I mainly buy U.S. made QUALITY knives.. I get a sense of pride carrying a knife that’s made by hard working Americans who care about their product.. A lot of Chinese made knives are coming up in quality and are cool but it just doesn’t feel the same to me. Just my opinion of course everyone can do as they please
Awesome to see an American company stepping up to put out a great product.
Proud to be a Texan with fine U.S. products made right down the road! On the waiting list for a Maverick. Great job Jerad…thanks to you & Tactile for the tour.
Miami just beat Texas. Lol!!!
Truly the best and only way going forward for that iconic Neeves Knives "Bang!"
More companies like Tactile need to pop up and be supported. We can't count on the gov't to support anything but the global economy, so it's up to us to do so! Tactile shouldn't be an exception, they should be the rule here!
Great look at 'how it's made' Jared & Kara! This view into how these companies operate should inspire folks to pursue their passion and create jobs in the process! 👍
Bang!! 💥💥 great job on this one. Hard work payed off, it def shows.
That was really cool. Great job, guys, and thanks to Tactile for inviting us into their process.
Great video man! I've always wanted to see the process of premiun knive fabrication. Had to chuckle when I saw the sharpening tech was wearing a ProTech t shirt!
Hey atleast he's a knife guy, if he was wearing a tactile shirt you could question it considering he works there
Love how you're developing, not just some guy in a dark room playing with sharp things and talking about it. Great work, can't believe this didn't pop up in my feed until now.
Great video, I got to see the guy sharpening who sharpened the one I own. That’s cool. He did a great job.
Awesome Factory, Made in the USA !!!! We should all own at least 1 Tactile knife!!!
Dude, the quality of your vids has taken a huge leap. A pleasure to watch and very informative! 😎👍
thank you
This is my favorite Neeves Knives video to date. Wow. Good stuff, guys.
Nice. Perfect HRC for magnacut 63-64. Good to see no soft steel.
That sharpening guy is my hero man. Sharpening like a king with an Pro-Tech shirt on. End boss. 😎👍🏼 great vid man thx for making. Love factory tours gives a story behind the knife. Ordered a maverick in red G10 today. Awesome vid after ordering
Thanks for sharing 👍. This was great to see.. love my rockwall.
What a badass video! How cool! Thank you for this!
Really cool to see! Thank you for showing off their shop. I have two of their pens, and would love to get a Rockwall someday.
Well done video! Awesome, eye opening footage.
Cool video, hope to see more of these. Thanks for sharing! 👍🏻
Very interesting video. Love it. Nice job yall!
Cool Thanks for sharing the tour 👊🏼
Great job Jerad and Kara!!! More companies should have you guy's come out and film at their facilities. Very cool of Tactile inviting you guy's out to tour/film there. Absolutely love what Tactile has been putting out. The Maverick looks so sweet! Such a clean (but definitely not plain) design!
This is gold! Thx for very interesting video!
Dude one of the best episodes you've ever done
It's been a blast to see your channel grow and evolve. I really liked the video and can't wait to see what comes next. Congratulations Jerad and Kara.
Yet another great vid...
You guys are killing it !
What an amazing video! Great job 👍 Loved it!
Appreciate the work you do great stuff as always
This is just top notch! It really makes you appreciate the craftmanship involved in making a quality production knife. Thanks Bro!
So cool to get a look behind the process of knife making along with the pens and how some of those processes are carried over between the knife and pen construction. Shoutout to Kara's awesome camera work as well. You look like you had a great time there as well. Thanks for the great vid Jerad and Kara and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.
Quality content. Well done that man, top job.
Loved this guys! My go to channel for all my blade needs! lol!
Cool video guys! Love the Maverick!
Excellent video!!! Good job jerad, kara, mike and team!!!
This is awesome! Love the different content to just shake it up. Always a big fan of yours!
Thank you, that was a fantastic tour. I love seeing how a product is made.
I am now attempting to change my "collection" to more quality (USA) knives over quantity. My box full of Case knives, a few Buck knives, few of Benchmade, some usa fixed blades, couple of Chris Reeve fixed blades, a few Leathermans and now, thanks to you, pocket clip knives.
I still like my WE, Civivi, CJRB and Kizer level of knives but I am now becoming more focused on USA made knives. Although I have ordered the Kizer drop bear, I'm pretty excited to get it.
Thank you very much for the tour, its was another learning experience.
Stay strong brothers.
This a really fantastic video - love the insights and love made in the USA!!!
This is Awesome ! Absolutely great job on this type of filming and editing (a few hard jumps). I grew up watching “how it’s made” whilst skipping school…any who - love this type of content. Well done !
Great video. Thanks!
Very cool. Thx Neeves knives
Nice job. This was phenomenal!
Super cool tour Guys!
Incredible video! Very cool of Tactile to host as well. They're a bit over my comfortable budget, but after this I just might have to make one happen someday.
I want one of those mavericks!! Great video! good job Jerad and Kara, such a fun video and so good for the community to see
Awesome!!👍🤩
Great video Jarad! I've gained a lot of respect for this company just in getting to know them. I appreciate their openness.
Awesome! Very cool and informative video! 👍
Great vid jared and Kara. Very cool to see what goes on behind the scenes. Thanks guys!!🎉🎉
That was cool to see, thanks.
This out and about content is exactly what I like. Anyone can open a knife box and complain. 😊
This is Awesome!! Very few Knife channels have the ambition and variety as yours!
What a freaking sick video! Hats off jerad🤘
Sweet vid! That maverick is dope looks like tactile is doin it rt very impressive
Being from Dallas, and retired from the police department, it makes me happy to see these made locally. Looks like a great company, with great workmanship. Thanks to all involved for sharing, and letting us look into how the company is run. And mostly how these apparently superior knives are made.
I got on the waiting list for one. Not really a fan of that style of clip attachment, but since the waiting list is over 3400 long, I have plenty of time to decide lol. Ty again for the fine video and letting us see how this great company makes their knives, in Texas.
Love this company! Their pens and knives are top notch!!
Great video ,,, many thanks.
These guys made the Slider and Glider, their very first bolt action pens, and I have the longer of the two (Glider). But their pen offerings really took off when they retired those models and made the Bolt Action pen. I have a standard length Ti version of the Bolt Action and it's an amazing pen, so solidly constructed and precisely machined / fitted.
i really loved the hishtory part of the knifes
Absolutely awesome!!! One of favorite videos ever right up there with your grit/steel sharpening vid.
Wow, thanks! THAT MEANS A LOT and im going to start doing more videos like this
Fantastic really interesting and educational great looking knives as ever great show 👍
Great to see!!
Jared fantastic vid!! Really liked this and appreciate their access and transparency, super happy to support them and have their knives
thank you
Great Video ! I'm very impressed by The Tactile Knife Company and I'm now on their list !
Very cool video thanks.
I’m a machinist, this is some good content right here.
I'm a machine tool nerd.
This is what our youth should be seeing.
Not just the product, but the culture of quality, made right down the road.
Beautiful knives and an awesome shop!
Very cool behind the scenes look.
That's how a real factory tour is done. Thanks.
Love what this company has been doing. Phenomenal products at reasonable prices that are made in “Merica”
Awesome video!
Awesome more factory tours!
This tours into the factory is fantastic! I like the fact that the sharpening guy is wearing a protech shirt, showing the friendlyness of each brands!
We love the industry!
Very cool. Makes me want to buy one of their knives.
Great video! This has convinced me that I need a Tactile knife
Your production quality just keeps getting better and better 🔥
You’re one my favorite 3 knife channels.
😃👍 Thanks brotha
This was awesome mate, hope to see more factory tours if you get the chance 👍
That was a great video bro.
This is very interesting. I am intrigued by the improved slipjoint he mentioned. I like the Bexar quite a bit.
This is the American-made I like. Tip top quality and exhaustive QC.
Great video. I’m not familiar with Tactile knives but will definitely check them out.👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Awesome tour brother that will make me feel better about buying from them 👍💯
Great video guys. Really enjoyed this one.
Thank you Kev
Great content.✌️🙏
Well done, Jerad! 👊
It’s nice to see a solid US manufacturer that’s also very efficient in their manufacturing
Amazing video
Cool music and knives as well, obviously :)
It's nice to see some modern manufacturing in a U.S. knife company. Years ago, there was a video showing the manufacturing in one of the super-well-known outdoor knives company and their processes weren't modern at all. I'm guessing that more hand-made process make their knives so expensive even though their materials were pretty basic. It was actually depressing especially after watching a video on the Morakniv factory, which is super-modern/super-automated.
Awesome!!
Thanks for creating this. I'm interested in how knives are made and this scratched that itch
😍😍😍 what a sweet little girl beautiful bulldog 🥰
Awesome Guys!
Really cool video I love seeing stuff like this. Tactile are a little out of my price range but I now see the value and believe there worth the price.
Thank you
Great video! I enjoyed seeing how one of the best American manufacturers makes it happen. Very impressive operation and really justifies the price of their products, which I feel are very fair. Can't wait to get my hands on a Maverick!
Thanks!
Very cool very , very cool!!!
A company worth supporting.! Kunwu my A$$!! They make just about everything in-house & here at home. I was recently trying to decide between the Quiet Carry Waypoint & Tactile Rockwall & when I noticed that the Waypoint design is outsourced to China, it was settled. I’m not anti China; I’m anti Globalization. Nothing sticks in my craw more than “American” companies shipping jobs to China. But they’re proudly American. I’d rather buy from a Chinese company & have on GP. It’s hard to avoid Made in China but that has peaked & is going away as we speak. I love factory tours. I once watched with fascination a tour of the Hawks production hovel. I was amazed at how they could make such quality & innovation in something that looks 3rd World. True talent.
