Ive had this knife for a couple weeks now and so far i couldnt be happier with it. Only slight knock i can come up with is that the spring for the superlock is STIFF and if your a fidget junkie as i am its hard on the pad of your pointer finger.
250 is 100% fair... it is in the running for my 55th birthday present to myself... great looking American knife
Absolutely love the look of the chupacabra. The knife that sold me on magna cut was the tactile knife Rockwall. It's a little on the slim side but I rarely have to sharpen it, and I have yet to rust it.
I have this knife for a couple of weeks now. I have the satin version and believe me it’s excellent. The spring is strong but after some fidgeting after a couple of weeks is way more softer than when it came out of the box. Feels perfect and no blade play what so ever not an inch. The lock doesn’t fail on mine and I smacked it hard on the back multiple times. Only thing is that’s it’s a bit heavy compared to a Benchmade 940 or an TRM shadow for example. But if you want a excellent strong as he’ll edc knife this is it. The magnacut sharpens excellent. I like the chupacabra more than the Demko ad20.5 but that’s personal. Same price but USA made and magnacut and aluminium scalen and titanium hardware. Compare that with the Demko 20cv with g10 made in Taiwan. You choose.

I’m a huge fan of the We and Civivi Vision, I have an R and 2 FGs. I would love to pick this one up once they offer it more scale options. Aluminum is just too soft for me and just a little drop will not only scratch up the coating but damage the Al as well. If they ever offer it in a black micarta I’ll be all over it 😊
Loving the review, loving the perspective. You can throw the Freeman 451 aluminum in there, at 350something. Great magnacut knife, small batch, us made. But definitely large, and not for everyone.
I'd like to think this is how good my videos would be, if I took more time to research than I do making up lines for my AI assistants to say. Good job!
This knife is a banger. I hope it gets enough traction that other companies make scales for it. I talked to the guys at Tactile and they don't plan on making a titanium version any time soon. The aluminum is keeping the price down.

Price seems pretty reasonable for the spec but I don’t need it and I do want it. Damn it. Probably gonna save my pennies for a small Magnacut fixed blade (which I do actually need) - MKM DCA Pocket Tango 1 looks sweet.
I got the MKM DCA Pocket Tango a couple of weeks ago and it's a nice little pocket fixie. Ripping sharp out of the box.

Thank you for the video! I’ve been curious about this company but, I think their knives are a bit dainty to me. In another note…. Medford Knives! We all know that they’re very expensive, and I have a few of them. IMHO, they’re the “Be All, End All”!! 🇺🇸 MADE!!! Being that they’re owned by a Marine, I sometimes wonder why you’ve not spent a significant amount of time referencing them. Anyways bro, keep up the great work!!! Cheers!!!
The Kershaw link on Amazon says Magnacut in the description but the photos shows 20cv and on blade HQ the same knife is described as having 20cv.

That spine lock spring is STRONG.. but im getting a good index finger workout. Other than that i very much love this knife.
There's a video of someone tapping the spine of the blade with a stick and the locking mechanism fails
Please see if you can replicate this issue, as at face value that's a huge safety concern
I got mine today and my initial impressions of the knife is that it's heavy and the lock is a fail. The aluminum scales and steel liners are weighty, but the heft feels good in the hand and the ergonomics are wonderful. The ergos might not be right for everybody, but they're just right for my smaller hands. Now for the lock.... I'm so disappointed. I've never handles the Vision R, but I'm a fan of the Snecx lock on the Vision F. The ledge angle and the light jimping on the lock make it slick and difficult to open and close one handed with just the lock. I was hoping this knife would compete with my Demko AD20.5 and it doesn't Also, a 10% restoking fee almost seems like an attempt to deter people from returning products they knew people were going to be disappointed with. I'm sadden to say this one disappointed me.
Not about 200$ knives but I’ll stay tuned in🫡
This knife already tested by UTubers that lock Failed when you smack back of blade $250 this why knife community it's do it's own Intel and get sold by someone on UTubers $250 look some Spyderco for $90 and up

The issue has already been fixed as proven by several other “UTubers”

Reflexively I agree with you, however think about the crossbar lock, the frame lock, the booster lock, or any other lock. This super lock is only implemented by very few knives, so they’re all gonna look similar
However, when you get this, in your hand, you will 100% feel the difference, especially with the pocket clip
I thought about the Vision, but prefer to buy American made knives. So is Chupacabra worth the price increase ? To me yes, I would rather invest in US Companies that employ US workers, but that's just me !
For me, that price for a knife with Aluminum scales is a tough sell!
p.s. I do like the knife.
The aluminum scales are VERY well done the knife has a very solid feel to it. None of that cheap hollow feel that you get with most aluminum scales.
