Lol it’s come to my attention that certain individuals may have an issue with this video/my content and because I have time today (since I can’t respond directly), I would like to be the first to say that if ever you find yourself not liking what I’M doing, you are more than welcome to click the “X”. You found me, not vice-versa. I would also like to direct you to the fact that there are literally have hundreds of videos similar to mine on this same platform that you probably should worry about first within your own org, then come back this way.
Next, there is a difference between using “discretion” to keep certain things within the process and using the “use discretion” excuse to be a standoffish asshole. Had I mentioned a process, sure .. go off sis. But, literally nothing in this video calls for discretion. Y’all don’t be stressed? Y’all not worried about keeping your grades up? So you in school to play and worry about others all day? You hate to see it. Tbh, probably viewed one of my vids prior to crossing .. but that’s another story.
Groupthink is a thing. It’s only a problem because you “heard” it’s a problem. If you want to learn how to do UA-cam and post content people actually want to see let me know and I can prolly help lol .. otherwise put that energy in to something else.

Thanks for posting another real ass video. I just appreciate how you keep it honest and don’t sugar coat it. I think more people will get a sincere understanding about going Greek by really taking in what you have to say. I see you out here educating these gdi’s and putting good knowledge in their hands. Thank you Shae, regardless of which which org folks are seeking interest NPHC or non NPHC, videos are very informational. Just like everything in life it's a process.
Remember you were once on line others might have felt the same way you do about lines no one said it would be easy. Membership is a sacrifice on both parts as you said. It is a calling know where your fit is within the organization. Imagine the stress on the Presidents of our respective organizations all year long.
Yeppp, and that’s exactly why I said corporate be on our necks lol. I know my pros were stressed cuz we talked about it after but on the way in, you don’t really think about others perspectives .. just yours. Everybody be stressed from top to bottom.
Is Grad Chapter the same way? Stressful
Yes it is stressful in Grad as well. There are alot of " t"s and to be crossed and "I"s to be dotted 😊
The organization I am interested has not had a line in almost 5 years. I’m a senior now and close to graduating. Is there anyone I can contact, or am I able to do the process at another school?
There should be information on file for the graduate advisor. If you’re comfortable asking them (or the on-campus person over Greek life) id recommend reaching out just to see what they say if they say anything.
You wouldn’t be able to do the process at another school unless you transfer to that campus but in most instances you’ll have to have a full semester on your transcript there before you can cross.
Shea Miller I’m transferring next year but the org i was looking into isn’t even in my state anymore there are chapters but they just “disappeared” but at my next college hopefully I’ll get to join up over there

Leave the time stamp where a “secret” was revealed 🤔 last time I checked, discretion is to keep secret information a secret, right? You see a secret that pressing worth keeping in this video? Because literally nothing in this is that deep. Or are you just reaching for something to say?
Shea Miller not reaching at all , just seems as though you were running out of content . No need to put a time stamp when really anything dealing with Greek life (especially black Greek life) shouldn’t be spoken upon. Especially for a youtube “check”. From the overall process to positions/titles , nothing should be discussed with people outside of the org besides what’s steps to take in order to join (which are covered at an informational/interest meeting) but I digress 🤷🏿♂️
There are thousands of other videos related to denouncing and telling whole org secrets that people should focus their energy on if we’re really worried about keeping “secrets” secret within NPHC. People within orgs telling people not in orgs processes before, during, and after .. but this video is a problem because it’s for a “UA-cam check” did you comment on any of the other videos that were for UA-cam checks? Doubt it. Or what about the people on IG making a mockery of NPHC orgs? Probably be one of the ones laughing in the comments.
When you have Greeks explaining whole processes on Twitter & Instagram for free, an informational video saying “this is probably why this person seem stressed when you approach them don’t think they all rude” should be the least of any ones concerns. Keep that same energy to those exploiting your organization directly and intentionally for free.
Using the words “president” and “corporate” is not revealing anything specific to a NPHC org and the only thing that makes it related is that it says “NPHC” in the title. Don’t compare ours to other non-NPHC orgs, they do rush and invite people in .. they don’t care as much about trivial stuff as some of our members pretend to. Yes, these questions can be asked in an informational but Greeks with mindsets similar to this are unapproachable .. as if they weren’t once an interest and had questions themselves. So again, unless there is an exact pinpoint of a genuine concern, I don’t understand the outrage. But be sure to sprinkle this same energy around the whole NPHC UA-cam/social media community if you really care.

If you have a problem with the terminology, how about you contact the corporate office of each organization and tell them change it? Commenting here? Purposeless. Pointless. Because I’m still going to say what I feel like saying ... and you can continue to be upset. Which one of us is wasting our time tho?
