Hey ProjictF30 I just installed a Active Autowerke FMIC ,catback exhaust, and a ER catted down pipe and charge pipe with bootmod3 stage 2 on my 2016 F30 328i, and I used your video again for my install because I think it is the best diy for downpipe on a F30 328i, thanks again.

Thanks for the info! I ordered a VRSF downpipe for my F30, but the installer is telling me it will be 4 more weeks for VRSF to ship out the downpipe with the high temp coating. Can't wait to get it installed!

great video, I have the ER catted downpipe for my N20 528i to install soon and was looking for videos for some time, thank you, and I am fortunate to have a lift in my home garage, it paid back for itself after a couple jobs.

Where did you get the new DP to Midpipe clamp? My car is currenly apart and now that I've gotten to that step I dont want to proceed and break it without an extra on hand

I have a Daily 2014 M-Sport and the downpipe did absolutely nothing for the car. It seems like it took away bottom end Power vs the back pressure of the cat

@@n52sosa well I did, it transformed the car. The thing spins out in 2 gear. I think I'm used to driving my garage kept F90 comp stage 2/dp

I installed my own downpipes but now when I rev it and let off the gas it sounds like metal grinding. Only when I let off the gas tho . Can I get your opinion. Thanks

Ok I just installed my Vrsf down pipe on a n20 and I get a check engine code 1800 what code is this and how do I fix it and yes I have a JB4 on my car also

I have the AWE touring edition axle back exhaust + AWE performance midpipe + injen CAI. How will this VRSF catless down pipe sound with my current set up? And what about the highflow catless? is there a difference? I also want to pass emissions and CEL....

Hey, I just got bm3 stage 1 in my n20 engine but I don't hear burbles specially when I'm revving while drive. So I'm thinking of getting catless downpipe and have ordered one. Do you think this will make the sound louder?

Hey, how did you perment open the valves on your stock exhaust?
unplug the connector at the flap while it's open, this will keep it always open. Or there's an option in Bootmod3 tune. I did the first option (When I still had my muffler)

Have you found the sizes yet?
Nope
I found those v-clamps/gasket on bmwpartspros.com. Search under OEM parts for your specific model, and look around the exhaust sub menu. Should have an exploded diagram for the OE dp that has both the gasket, and v-band clamp. In addition you need the 2nd v-band clamp that goes between the dp, and the mid pipe. My '16 228i n26 was #'s 2,3,6. 18307581970, 18307606136, 18308632361. $80 total. Hope that helps.

I have a question i put on my vrsf downpipe and a week later i get a p0420 code i added a 02 spacer on rear when i did the install not the front after code poped up i put the 02 spacer in the front and code popped up even quick pls help ig:goofybadass check out my bagged f31 msport but please help

will the BM3 can delete the CEL for bmw f30 328i with STOCK TUNE?
well I don't know what you mean by stock tune. I run a stage 2 bm3 tune and you can clear codes.
This code or CEL will not show if you get it tuned by BM3 or if you use the high-flow down pipe and FMIC upgrade tune.

Did you buy a down pipe for the n26 or n20? Curious of the difference. I have a n26 as well. Getting ready to to order one.
Josh Heineman I bought for my motor, N26. There is a difference so make sure you pick up the right one. ER and VRSF both make great catless DPs for N26. I heard Wagner has one too. Stay away from Circuit Werks.
Let me know before you order. If you go ER, I'll recommend you a guy. If you go VRSF, I'll recommend you a different guy.

It can clear it, but it will come back. A better tune is BM3 which does clear the codes
Do you have a vibration around the 2k-3k range?
mjn papi it's not consistent. Shows up every so often in that range, but not all the time.
I get a vibration an around 2100 every time, kind of annoying

foam cover is to protect you from the noisy engine.
Stay away from CircuitWerks downpipes, they did not fit, and cause very large exhaust leaks, especially when cold.
does your n26 still have the secondary catback?
Henry Johnson does it still pass if it has the second cat with a catless downpipe
