Hey thanks man I appreciate it!!🙏 I’m real busy at the moment but I really want to once I get the time, I’ll keep you posted😊 Niceee that song slaps hard, keep on smashing it brother!🤝
Hey thanks man I appreciate it a lot!!🙏 I’m no expert on mixing but I’m trying to get better with each video, the thing I’ve realised is that controlling your low end so that it’s not too muddy or flumpy is real important so that it doesn’t mask the definition and tightness! But don’t overdo it otherwise the guitars become thin. I hope this helps bro😊
@zizizmer Seriously, you bring different stuff to the table. You also have got quite a peculiar style, keep em coming 😭 Would be curious to see some of your material!
Your guitar tone really surprised me with how good it sounds! Good work on this video. Definitely will subscribe. Is there a chance I could use the audio in this vid for one of my vocal covers?
Hey thanks so much for the kind words man I really appreciate it, means a lot!🙏 And yeah man, email me at: zizizmer@gmail.com and we’ll talk about it there😊
Thanks so much man I really do appreciate it🙏 I use: Moises. It’s pretty good for what it does, just be careful not to remove too much drums / vocals because it’ll start to affect the overall quality of the track😊
Thanks a lot bro I appreciate it! I use an app called Moises and it’s pretty good - usually removing guitars and bass doesn’t alter the quality of the track too much but if you remove drums / vocals it can affect the quality quite a bit😊
that was speedy. i swear i need to just get a 7 string again. making sixes work for F# and G range just doesnt do it for me. A# seems to be the cutoff for me on the 6's.
Thank you bro!🙏 Yeah I feel you on that, I think the main thing is the scale length of the guitar. Mine is only 25.5 which isn’t actually that high, I use a pitch shifter for anything past Bb standard / Drop G#
Hey man yeah I learned it in drop A because there are quite a few parts like the full chords in the chorus which seemed almost impossible to play in standard! I could’ve interpreted it wrong though, because I know they often use A standard😊 Thanks for checking it out and the kind words Brother, I appreciate it a lot🙏
@@zizizmer I'm a pure listener and I usually can never tell the difference between drops and standards. I'm not roasting you, I legit thought they maybe changed to drop A. Idk. You got schizophrenic bands like Ice Nine Kills that use drop C# to drop B/B standard, drop A, drop A#, drop G and G#. Makes my head spin.
I usually try play it in standard and decide whether it makes more sense to play in drop tuning or not😊 Hahaha yeahh it really makes my head spin too bro, that’s when a droptune pedal really comes in useful and saves a lot of time tuning😂
Hey much love brother thanks so much🙏 Yeah ofc I can make one for you, I do use IR’s from Bogren Digital so it may sound a little different due to a different cab being used though man
No worries at all man🙏 I’ll use the cab section from Archetype Gojira to get something similar to the one I used✌️ What’s your email my bro I’ll send you it over? Unless you wanna email me first at: zizizmer@gmail.com
@@zizizmerold guy here…very very little understanding of IR’s…I still use a plain old amp..anyone got a link for some reading or videos to help one understand how to set this stuff up create tones and just have a basic understanding of how they work thanks!
Ahh man that means the world thank you so much for the kind words🙏 I used neural DSP - Archetype Gojira for the tone, it’s based on an EVH 5150 III and it’s become my go to for heavy modern tones, you can get a 14 day free trial, I hope this helps😊 Thanks again bro I appreciate you🤝
@@zizizmer Yeah, I've used my 14 day trial, but I have paralax, plini, and JP, might have to pick this one up too when to goes on sale. Any mods done to your AZ?
@@oxmopalmtg8547 ahh nice man that’s ace I really wanna try Parallax! And the only thing I changed on my AZ were the volume and tone knobs, but maybe one day I’ll change the pickups:)
Hey man I don’t know the real name of it but it’s when you bar all strings on a harmonic fret ( in the song it was the 3rd fret ) and you do a backwards sweep, it sounds really cool!😝
Yeah man he does! After experimenting with the song a bit there were quite a few parts that made a lot more sense to be played in drop A so I just stuck with that😊
Hey dude, I started playing guitar like 3 months ago. I have an electric but dont know how to distort it to have a metal sound like this. What is the trick? The Amp? Everytime I google it I can't get a straight answer
Hey man yeah it’ll be your amp that gives you the distorted metal tone - Your pickups will be the “ voice “ of your sound, but it’ll be your amp ( and the addition of pedals for extra gain / tightness ) that will give you the high gain metal sound! Just crank the “ gain “ setting up. I hope this helps bro😊
@@charleschi843 I use an app to mute the guitars in the original track and record my guitar parts over it, I then “ glue “ it all together in the mix and it binds the whole thing together nicely😊
