Hybrid Theory and Meteora were the soundtracks of my high school years.
Absolutely💯💯💯
Same!!!! Kept me going through some rough shit
Elementary for me as a young one lol
Same. It’s so bittersweet now hearing their songs. It brings me back to good times and now that Chester is gone it just hurts. He was one of a kind
Same! Definitely got me through a lot of shit.
his music saved so many lives, and it makes me sad no one was there to save his. RIP Chester
It's Pury damn.. u ain’t lyin bro
Yeah just try listening to “nobody’s listening” now
@@adjess25 what were we supposed to do? It's not like he would've respond to a DM from random fans. Obviously he had tons of people in his personal life that were helping him but he chose to die anyways
Sometimes it's not enough to say or do the right thing to affect a persons state of mind to the better, sometimes it has to come from the right person to actually mean anything.
Great post Pury, I think for all of those out there who suffer with mental illness it is just so damn hard. He left his legacy though, and we'll remember him for it.
Chesters vocal range was insane
freddie mercury. axl rose, and chester, imo best voices ever.... widest and strongest
Nostalgic memories i agree except id choose Layne staley over axl.
His fry screams were UNMATCHED
He could sing soft, melodic, scream, rap and much more. He was an incredible writer as well.
monteself1968 He was everything....
Chester didn’t really really do the rapping
monteself1968 the singer and rapper for Linkin Park are two separate people.
tdawg719 he did in one more light but I forget what song tho
Ian Mitchell it was sorry for now
Guy on the left cracks me up! Every time the guitar kicks in on the videos he says "i wish i could play guitar" he gets so in to the heavy guitar, its awesome. 😃👍💯
R.I.P Chester
the sad thing is chester even said in an interview that he wanted to do something with eminem too that would have been so awesome
That would've been DOOOOPE.
ikr
sascha b there's a UA-cam channel called Blaze Audio that specialises in Linkin Park/Eminem mashups that actually sound pretty good. It's not quite the same but it's probably as close as you can get.
they actually did that remix album
Linkin Park was the shit man. I grew up on them. 19yrs old and their music always lives on with me. Much respect to you guys. Great reaction family
Thanks man.
youre the last 90s baby lol
26 years old man and I've been a fan of LP since before Hybrid Theory!! I'm takin this way back to when they were doin unreleased demos! \m/
same here. 20 and Linkin Park was a huge influence on me especially as a transition band into heavier music growing up. 2:32 lowkey had me feeling nostalgic hahaha
same age btw and it was the same for me
Man, you guys look like me the first time I heard Hybrid Theory. Same faces, lol. Buddy of of mine let me listen to his CD when we were both new joins to the Marine Corps. Me: Young kid from Baltimore, MD. Him: Half black, half Japanese, but a broader understanding of music. I listened to it and fell...first CD that I loved from beginning to end..until Reanimation came out (my favorite album to this day). Meteora, just as good. Great music has no boundaries, and its refreshing to see people who look like me, appreciate it the same way that I do. Chester Bennington was a talent all his own which transcended genres, as a unique, strong, beautiful voice should.
Excellent comment! Dope backstory. You're from the cloth man, I can see it.
Lost In Vegas Definitely. Follow up question...do you guys ever use your platform to review those of us who do music, but are unknown?
Semper Fi brother!
Baltimore 410!
A fellow Linkin Park loving Marylander, hello 👋
Hybrid Theory and Meteora were absolute favorites and the first albums I ever purchased. I fell off when Minute to Midnight released but always respected their constant evolution.
Meteora thoooo!! CLASSIC!
PipeBomb SD I love HT and Meteora as everyone does. But MTM is actually the same to me. I loved that album exact same how I loved the previous two
i loved living things more than MTM
Rest In Peace to Chester man, a legend
Such a simple line can have so much meaning and power. "I won't waste myself on you."
You guys are the embodiment of what Chester promoted and believed in for the community he served. Thank you for this video, he touched so many lives, far and wide, including my own. L.P. helped me deal with a lot of the darkness in my life and it hurts to know no matter how many times we could've yelled it from the front row he never knew how much he was loved and needed. Thank you to lostinvegas for everything you represent. Keep it up #makechesterproud
I don't care what anybody says, little Chester was a beast.
A lot of people can't stand screaming in music and don't think it shows any kind of talent.
But the thing I liked about Chester was that while he did have a fair bit of scream time especially in their earlier albums, it was placed in songs meticulously to the point where it conveyed the urgency of whatever the song was about. You could tell he didn't just scream for the sake of screaming, and I fucking loved it.
99% of the time I could care less about the death of a celebrity, since like a lot of other people, we don't understand why we mourn them more than the countless others just because they are famous.
For me personally (for reasons I'm not Gona air out on a UA-cam comment), Chester was one of a few people outside my family and friends that actually drew me into their world and feelings enough to form a kind of admiration or friendship, when I'd never met him a day in my life.
Great comment. Great insight. Thanks for sharing.
Bennington and Shinoda were fucking amazing as a lyrical vocalist combo, they brought different aspects to vocalism and it just worked
My daughter's 5th grade music teacher used Chester's vocals and the way he used his screaming lyrics to teach her class how to not blow out your vocals when signing in this manner... Chester was a master. I'm so sad that he left us so soon... *I FK'G LOVE HIS MUSIC!!!*
I LOVE watching you guys! RIP Chester, I've been listening to Linkin Park since I was a kid growing up in Detroit, the only rock band that I knew that brought hip-hop and rock together in a big way before them was Anthrax . Chester's voice can take you anywhere, sadly that amazing voice is from a lot of anguish growing up. He was abused and raped as a child and that lead him to drug use. He tried to heal through music but it just wasn't enough. I hope he knew that his music helped a lot of people growing up. Also I appreciate that you guys are REAL music fans. I've always said that we all have our favorite genre but talent is talent and all genres feed off each other in some way. I love honesty and open minded discussion. Hurry up and blow up so I can whine in the comments saying I thought you were cool before everyone else lol.
This comment made our day! Thank you so much! Excellent feedback regarding Chester. R.I.P.
Beautifully said
If you've never really listened 311, you should give them a listen, as they were a successful band that melded rock and rap quite well. And of course, Rage Against the Machine was standout as well. But LP was epic for sure.
Another good band is From Ashes to New
It's so refreshing to see diversity throughout music keep doin your thing!! Check out "We made it" Busta Rymes ft Linkin Park
Thanks Dan!
Thank you for the awesome Channel!! Keep it up!
Rock in Peace Chester
This was literally one of favorites from linkin park due to Chesters voice and scream. Y'all are great at reacting to the right music at the right time and I can tell y'all (like me )love a variety of music. Hope y'all keep blowing up. This is one of my top 2 music reaction channels on UA-cam.
Thanks Brandon! We appreciate the support. R.I.P. Chester.
Lost In Vegas Rage against the machine- bulls on parade
Basically all of LP's songs I like.
Given up by LP had a crazy scream in it too
The first time I heard this song, heard his voice...i knew they were something special. Chester will be remembered for his amazingly powerful voice and his painful, yet beautiful, ability to convey his I internal turmoil
This uploaded the day Chester died. Rest in peace Chester :,(
Great job with this one guys! It was really nice of y'all to do this!!! R. I. P. Chester 😔
Thanks Tracy! Yeah it's a sad day man. He was an AMAZING talent.
Linkin park is amazing,! This song is amazing & you both rocking out to it made me laugh Rip Chester Bennington! George with the water bottle lmao !! Great video !!
man I miss him. their music will always be with me. I remember being the only little kid listening to rock and bringing all my friends into rock through LP and they loved it. RIP chester and great video dudes
Really glad you guys did this song specifically. Respect guys. RIP to a legend Chester Beginnington.
I was smilling every time seeing your passion with LP's songs :) great video!
#RIPChester
Linkin Park has and still does get me through the worst that life has to throw at me. Recently subscribed because your open mindedness to other genre's is unbiased and honest. Much love 👍
Thank you for this reaction! Much love from Houston Tx! #RIPChester #LinkinPark
Chester's voice was so many things, angels and demons both lived in it.
Great reaction !!!!
Miss Chester big time....the passion in his voice is incredible.
Crazy going back old Lost In Vegas videos and seeing how far they’ve come.
These guys are now my favorite reaction team ever, much respect.....rip Chester
Ryan & George so entertaining & real, you guys can make a huge impact on younger generation. Who didn't get to grow up with great music as we did !!
R.i.p to Chester. But can't wait to see you get 10k
Thanks Bryce! R.I.P Chester.
Lol 700K or something right now
Y’all are awesome lol love how no matter what when you put on some rock it’s just natural head bang. By far one of my favorite channels to watch.
Loved that you guys didnt do reaction videos to these two LP songs but instead shared with us your thoughts on the bands body of work, perfect. LP is just awesome and no other band has been able to pull off the merge of rock and rap that they have. Incredible.RIP CB
I love seeing you guys listening to some of my favorite songs because it makes me realize that people that listen to different genre can enjoy the genre im into. It only makes me feel less isolated because these genres are slowly fading and it makes me feel less isolated. A lot of these songs have a lot of personal meaning to me and sometimes it just feels like people don't understand, and you guys prove that wrong!
Was so ready to hear Nobody's Listening when that sample faded at the end of the track haha.
RIP Chester, wish somebody had listened to my boi
Y'all should react to p.o.d youth of the nation
I love how much you guys love music, music can speak what you can't.
My favorite video you guys have done, much love from here in Vegas
The most haunting thing about Linkin Park's songs... the signs were there. They were there in just about *every* song.
Don't know why I haven't bumped into this channel man. I like your reactions. Subscribed!👌
Awesome review! I've been a die hard fan since I was like 14 and cried like a baby when Chester passed. He helped so many of us get through tough times...just wish we could have been there for him during this tough time. Great work guys
Wow was I happily shocked to see that you guys reacted to what is arguably my favorite Linkin Park song! They have sooooo many incredible songs and this one is a little underrated so I am glad that y’all gave it a listen :)
WOW DIDNT REALIZE I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS SONG FOR YEARS THANK YOU GUYS I LISTENED TO THIS ON MY CD PLAYER EVERYDAY BACK IN HIGH SCHOOL
Perfect song to pay homage to him with. Props to you guys for doing this. R.I.P. Chester
Thanks Man! R.I.P.
I love how y'all got into this music Linkin Park is amazing and that ban has been there for me through some tough times and I love just about all their songs. Chester will be missed by so many he had one of them voices that could just draw you in no matter who you are or what you listen to. I'm glad I did the song and I love watching you on all your videos but this one right here by far is one of my best reaction videos from y'all has Linkin Park is amazing and they always will be. Much love
You guys rock for doing this! Not only are you payimg your respects to a legend, but I love how you respect different genres of music, and you aren't afraid to switch up your videos and do some rock reactions! That is something you never see I'm Reaction vids. R.I.P. Chester
Thanks Dylan!
Was so lucky to have been at that last concert in Birmingham, was all the songs I wanted to hear live... Performed to perfection. RIP Chester and Love to Linkin Park!!
This album changed my life. I was 12 when it came out, and I have had a life long battle with depression. This and Meteora got me through my teenage years. He passed the day after my birthday and two months after one of my best friends who happened to pass in the same tragic way. I know this is two years later but thank you for reacting to this 💖 RIP Chester and Holli
Linkin Park gives my soul goosebumps. Such power and energy.
R.I.P Chester. Linkin Park has been a favorite band of mine since I was a child.
Love to see you guys as Linkin Park fans. The first 2 albums are gold
You guys are killin it. I love you dudes

Thanks Jeremy. Unfortunate circumstances but it was only right.
Lost In Vegas real shit... only thing I suggest is More King Los.... I can't get enough of Los reactions... on you WAR reaction I suggested a few songs along the same style and I NEED y all to peep that
Chester's music is so meaningfull to make me strong and get me outta my misery.. Thank you L.I.V for reacting this music.. Bless y'all🙏🙏😇🤘🤘
It’s been 9 months since he past, and I’m STILL HEARTBROKEN! Of all the greats we’ve lost, Chester and Dimebag (PANTERA) are the ones I doubt I’ll ever get over. Chester’s voice is (not was) one that penetrates ones soul to the point you can FEEL him touching your most inner feelings, by him sharing his. Music paints the background of our lives and conveys the feelings we’re unable to...the world is definitely much grayer now...Rest in Paradise Chester & Dime! Thank you for this Ryan & George! ❤️🤘💔😇😇
It's crazy how there's so many fans saying they grew up listening to LP..their first album came out my freshman year in high school and I followed them all the way until his passing..really hit me hard!!..thanks for doing this guys!!..RIP Chester
You got my subscription, with one of my favorite bands. Keep it up.
Subbed after seeing the myriad of music choices you guys make reactions to. You guys are fun to watch!!
just earned your subscription man. i grew up on this gem of a band
Loved the video guys!!😊😄 as soon as I saw linkin park I clicked the video and liked it!!
I remember when hybrid theory came out. Stuck with them ever since. Thanks for doing a video on them, love you guys.
The intro of this song is so fuckin good. I always get goosebumps or imitate the dj scratch...damn that scratch and guitar-- superb
RIP Chester, respect to you guys for doing this 👍 react to Bulls on Parade by Rage Against The Machine, to me they were the best to mix rock, hip hop, and a bit of funk.
Their music has been taken to a whole new level since his death. You really get an understanding of what he was battling with inside. I met them when they first made it, and they were some of the most down to earth bands I have met. R.I.P Chester. That was a sad day and the future Will have a hole in it without more music from him.
Made me so happy seeing how much you love the song
Got to see Linkin Park live many years ago at projekt revolution. I will forever be thankful for that and how these guys make me feel so many things with their music. RIP Chester
I'm damn near 30 and I still love linkin park I've listened to them since I was 14!
Yes yes yes, love Linkin Park.... Chester Bennington was a great singer, such a beautiful voice, singing & screaming.... Rock has lost another great singer.... R. I. P Chester
My cousin introduced me to rap with Run DMC's "Rock Box" way back when I was little. I still love it today. I had never heard rhyming like that over distorted guitars before that.
Linkin Park even given the circumstances of Chester helped me through alot of my stuff with depression. Will always be one of my heroes. He is forever immortalized in my life.
George, you're on a new level of dope for the singalong ... RIP Chester Bennington, when I saw that it was suspected as a suicide, I lowkey just thought of Joyner's 'I'm Sorry' immediately
My man had me in my Rock Star bag for a second lol. Yeah Chester was amazing man. Sad.
thanks for this RIP Chester
I need more LP reactions by u guys .. Cheer me up like u always do
This is possibly tied as my favorite Linkin Park song, it's so ridiculously good
Just sub'd today and been binge watching your videos mad respect for what you do, love that "Talent is Talent!" Great job fellas keep em coming...
Thanks for supporting Nick!
LINKIN PARK is one of the most diverse bands, ever! They were ahead of their time and were always ahead of the curve.
Re watching for chester may he sincerely find the peace he searched for now....rip to one of my biggest influences growing up...I remember the first time I heard meteora and blew my mind
This band is so EPIC it just only gets better each time I listen to them...all of their songs...thanks for the homage to Chester...his music is eternal...like many others. How about doing the songs NUMB, and one of their newest ONE MORE LIGHT, and GOOD GOODBYE
This is one of the coolest videos because so many of us got goosebumps when the track came in.
Good vid and nice that y'all did this for respect and please react to dead horse by jokerr
Thank you LP ❤️
For saving my life
Not sure how I missed this reaction but this is dope. I remember working at my college radio station right before LP's debut album dropped and seeing this CD single for their song One Step Closer and being like "hmm okay lets give this a listen." Shit blew me away. It was a groundbreaking sound. They weren't the first to do it but the way they did it was just insane. As for Chester, damn we lost a legendary voice. Still sad about it all these months later. He had a truly iconic sound.
Coming back to this and I still get emotional. Losing him was such a huge loss...damnit
RIP Chester Bennington ❤
love to see you guys like them
Thanks guys.. You guys are awesome.
Love that dude. One of the best lyricist and vocalist. Has such an angelic singing voice but can scream his ass off lol
Still can't get over man. Definatly one of their best songs.
Chester Bennington has the voice of an angel & screams like the devil. His music definitely saved alot of people, including myself. He will be missed. #MakeChesterProud
"I don't know who to trust, no surprise"..... No joke, that line, to this day, is STILL my favorite opening to a song EVER!!!!
They literally saved my life. Helped bring out the pain instead of letting it fester. Thank you Chester. God bless you.
Should do a reaction to the whole album 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏
Love this song so much. RIP Chester
linkin park has been my favorite band since 2001 when I first heard them perform one step closer on MTV VMA and they did exactly what you said.. they brought me over to the rock side of music which was completely untapped prior to them. funny thing is it wasnt even mike shinoda an the rap side of them that got me into it.. it was chester.. his voice was just so powerful an it just demanded my attention... they impacted my life in a huge way and never has a celebrity death hit as hard for me as chesters.. RIP and thanks for memories
May his soul rest in peace , my childhood right there. My first favorite band.
Yo guys you are awesome this is what I needed...after hearing that Chester died...its so sad
Thanks Gantia!
