Very good review. I've had my 2022 Compass High Altitude for 11 months now and it continues to impress. It's my winter driver but I prefer the Compass for road trips over my wife's highly spec'd Porsche Macan. Zippy enough for in town, and an absolute pleasure on road trips.

I hope they have fixed the chronic multimedia defect, I have a Jeep Compass 2022 4x4 and I am quite annoyed with it, research before buying.

Jeep has a $4,000 rebate on the leftover 2022 Latitude with AWD in California. Kind of gets that price down to a competitive level. Saw one with the power driver seat and convenience group for $28,000 after the rebate and dealer discount (MSRP of 35K). That's not bad for what it offers. I think they're really trying to get rid of them since the 2023 has a new 2.0 turbo engine with 200 HP standard.
How can I get voice turn by turn
Get the 2023. The engine is a big difference in my opinion. I spent week comparing the two and was worth spending a bit extra for the new engine.

Why would someone want a front wheel drive car over a 4wd?
For better consumption, for a lower price, because only 5% of drivers use 4x4, most of them taking such cars only for the city/good roads, not for offroad...
