Nice wallet , hard to get here in Australia we have a comparable bi fold wallet from Fulgrain wallets in Canberra Australia , hand stitched all thick leather no fabric liners , not a 100 year warranty though 😅
Thanks for the video. I just got the lighter colored one on Dave's Discounts. I like the wallet overall and think I'm going to like the color. Does anyone here have experience with the Dave's Discount products? Are they pretty banged up? Or flaws you'll barely notice?
I have bought a couple of discount items and I think sometimes they do those when sales are slow, because I don't see anything wrong with them. The only downside is when they stamp them with an S. Probably stands for "sale" to indicate those come without warranty.
Nope, I never had that issue. Perhaps if you tried to stuff too many cards into the wallet right away I could see that being a problem. But the leather will stretch over time and as that happens, you can really fit quite a bit into them.
@@Reviews-For-You. thanks I appreciate it! I subbed because I appreciate your reviews! Do you have any leather from other companies by chance? Do you plan on buying more SBL products in future?
@@danielduron6131 I have some leather products from other places, but its mostly SBL because I really find them to be of high quality and its backed by the warranty, which is the only real way you can tell a business stands behinds its products. I've got a very leather jacket that I bought in Florence Italy (I should make a video of that - thanks for the inspiration) and a tablet sleeve from someone on Etsy. I also have a sunglasses case from a company in Turkey, and a couple paperback books for which I have created a leather cover. I have quite an "inventory" of SBL products so I am probably set for a long time, but I will also go to SBL first when I have the need for a leather product.
Hello. My wallet did and is still developing patina on the pigskin, but only on the inside were it holds the bills. The other side seems to be just gathering dirt!
I have to admit this is a strange construction. The crafter attempted to reduce thickness by only deploying pocket slot tops (which is normal.) But then they went and eliminated the benefit by inserting lining in each slot. *shrugs. Additionally they fully lined the billfold with more pigskin, generating more thickness. I like your new wallet much better.
They have deff cheapened the wallet, the older version has leather card slots that go all the way down with the lining, and are thicker then leather they used was way better back in the day as well now they changed there tanneries and it’s cheaper it’s a shame sb used to be one of the best u can buy from specially wallets
looks great actually

I was curious how your wallet is? I too was thinking about picking one up from Dave’s discounts and was curious.

Which Chamberlains product do you utilize? 1, 2, 3?
Just 1 I believe!
Thanks!
How many total cards did you carry?
definitely more than 6
did you ever have an issue with your cards breaking when the leather was stiff? That was an issue i heard some people had

Hey, does pigskin leather develop a patina or is it just dirt?

Great review it’s a nice wallet but I don’t think it’s a 100 year wallet
nice wallet...)

How's the scoliosis though after sitting on that brick? 😂

That’s a shame to hear I just ordered mine today.
