Thanks for the video order the same fairing n clamps after I saw this video fit my 2014 wide glide like a glove to replace my arlen Ness quarter fairing that cracked on the side where the bolt mount was
Thanks for the video. Looks great. I am trying to figure out if I could just use hose clamps or something else to mount it instead of the quick release clamps. Do you think its possible? Thanks
With this mounting system, It look like it rides in the center of the forks tubes. Meaning that it wouldn't in my opinion be very secure as only the top bracket has a slot to finagle a clamp on there, but at hwy speeds its going to vibrate like crazy. The lower section will hang freely. I'm sure you can jimmy something up, but if you're worried about someone walking off with your fairing, they have a locking clamp option.
Its a stock 5+" headlight slot (stock). I have a 7" and had to add a 1" spacer and bolt, about $2 for the pair at ace hardware. Instructions say it doesn't interfere with stock set up. Again, this is an exact replica of the HD version.
RaiderSteveO I'd say so....I have a friend who has one on his db, but the Harley one...the only real thing to consider is the headlight diameter. max is 6.65" opening. Go to amazon TCMT fairing, and all the details are there.
Zachary Cordova i used a 1in spacer to lift the light, and removed the buffer as its only use is to repel scratches..(i have a larger headlight so i had to remove that buffer.)You will also have to maneuver the fairing up or down to get the right placement. Also adjust the tilt as needed.
@william it was bought off amazon. TCMT quarter fairing and the clamps as well.
thanks man

So with the 49mm clamps I should be able to mount it in my 2011 Street Bob right? I thing you just save me 100$ bro, and probably more

How did you move your headlight up?
1" spacer
@@ryanhardin5166 can you use Memphis Shades Clamps to install ?
Does the fairing block/interfere with the headlight at all?

Nice informative video. Maybe don't do a line of coke beforehand though haha
Norty fucking nickle
Looks good. Have you ridden it yet? Does the wind get over your head or shoulders?
Kevin Goree i am 6"4 and mostly torso, and the wind with the laminar lip hits at my visor. And catches my sides a little.
Looks good man...So I'm guessing this should be the same install for a 2017 fxdb with 49mm?

RaiderSteveO also look into "Laminar lip" if you're a taller guy
right on, thanks
can you please provide a link for this fairing?
William Walker amazon
Will it fit a 2017 Iron 883?? Love your bike man
You only need to buy the 39mm clambs for sportster and it should fit without problem
Thx man
Helped me a lot!
Greetings from germany 🤞
Glad to hear that!
While installing mine, I can't get the headlight to line up & sit flush inside the fairings rubber housing. Any suggestions?
