Tip for future playthroughs, the Bracken, the "flower man" as you called it, the tall thing with the glowing eyes, is intimidated by eye contact. HOWEVER, if it becomes TOO intimidated it will cut its losses and try to rush you down before you can react. Look at it briefly, just to make it feel like it's been seen and back off, and then look away and go about your business. It will stalk one of you at a time, and not change targets unless it succeeds in its hunt. So whoever that is, just keep looking around and make sure to scare it off when it comes near, because if it gets too close there's no stopping it.
You can kill brackens with a zap gun, shovel combo. Thumper are apparently weak to height differences, you can just wack them while sitting on a rail or box. And spooders can be killed while they chase someone else.

the creator of this game has achieved a form of horror similar to a movie. the disappearance of your comrades if you don't pay attention to your surroundings, the carelessness of walking a corridor and never looking up resulting in a slow and airless death, and of course.. darkness.. one of the three things that makes this game truly horrifying, not knowing what could be 5 feet ahead of you.

4:27 dude that is so creepy. he turns the corner to see a giant black figure standing next to his friend about to kill him, and it then also sees him, which it then backs up discreetly to get away while trying not to alert the unaware people so that he can make the distance to escape, and by the time the guy explains what he saw, it would have got away.
feels like its trying to hunt you as stealthily as possible, instead of bomb rushing you, and that it knows you will run if he attacks head on.
also because it hid, the guy felt like it was trying to hide as much information about itself as possible (looks and movement ig), so he reacted by pushing the corner to get another look at him (monster does not want)
Edit: this comment was made when I was near the beginning of the video. After watching it all I will say that this video has the most of "those" freaky moments in it compared to all of the others i have watched. Probably something to do with how the one recording turns into an insane voice actor. I have one main clip in mind and it is 15:50 (it's a little bit back, but to get the full emotion you gotta understand the situation. Just know it's a big spider looking thing).
Because of how many memorable spooky moments that are in this video, and how it shows off a good range of the monsters without showing everything about them, i believe that this is the perfect video to show to someone who has never seen lethal company before.

Hearing such instinctual and uncontrollable activity come from his microphone is fucking incredible. Hearing him command Incyn Neo and Rufus with such bold and serious, yet calm and somewhat collected energy changes the mood completely, and seeing the shit that goes down puts me into a speechless state with the only words to ever go through my mind being "holy shit, that was fucking intense"

Super fun game. Was turning myself inside out during the stream during complaints of monsters lacking counterplay since there's plenty of videos out there of people using shovels and zap guns to kill hoard bugs, spiders, and brackens. I haven't seen thumpers killed but I've heard standing on a railing allows you to avoid and hit them. It's definitely against the spirit of this type of game to have a permanent solution to every obstacle, but there's a great deal you can eliminate with tools, coordination, and a plan. That said it seems the zap gun is a bit unreliable at this time, both by design and due to jank. We'll see how development goes with the game's popularity skyrocketing like this.

fun fact: this game also has 2 weapons you can find on moons, being a "stop sign" and a "yield sign".
most importantly, you can buy a Zap Gun to keep a hostile in place long enough for your teammates to beat it the fuck to death. Very useful for spiders! Not so much for Coil Heads.
You can use the zapgun to stun a Bracken so other players can kill it
I wish I could get into this game as much as you guys seem to.
Through the bees that (somehow) followed me indoors, dogs with maws the size of their heads that instakill you, and (as far as I’m aware) no method to heal, me and my friends barely lasted two hours.
From just some of the clips in this video alone, I saw that you can auto-heal.
Plus with how common Flowerman (look at him or die) and coilhead (don't look or die) combos are, it's just plain not fair
Something I've noticed is that a lot of the friends of mine that stuck with it were ones that got really into SCP: Containment Breach at some point in the past. I guess there's a certain mindset required when going in to fully enjoy it? We were simply molded in bullshit, probably

So glad that Lethal Company is popping off on YT. The game is really fun and I think it's about time that other coop horror games besides Phasmophobia (and a couple more) can shine. I even prefer this to Phasmo, the goal is clear and you spend time actually doing stuff rather than just walking around sniffing the ground for clues.

it's because the weeping angel became part of pop culture long before SCP 173 blew up a in the mainstream a few years back
Doctor who is an official tv show, whereas scp is mostly community driven in order to appear in pop culture. If I told my pops to think of a creature that moves when you don't look at it, they'd think of a weeping angel.
