Rawiri has used bellicose language all year - the ABC documentary showed him and Debbie talking about being at "war". He and the wider TPM leadership are running a disgraceful campaign to set purity standards for who's "good enough" to be recognised by them. This ideology or gangland loyalty tests overlaid with tribal politics is pretty worrying.
If Rawiri wants a separate Parliament, then he's going to need separate taxes.

Hi there, have you ever been taught that the Moriori are the indigenous peoples of New Zealand. It amazes me that NZ history seems to have been disregarded and removed especially since there are still Moriori living descendants.
Kiora. I hope you’re enjoying NZ. My father was a Native American Indian too. Cherokee Nation but was adopted into a family here in NZ. I agree mutual respect is the best way forward. It’s disappointing to see Te Pati Maori behaving in such a belligerent way. It’s hard to take them seriously as a viable political party with such abusive behaviour. I think the messaging here is they don’t want resolution but revolution and that will end badly for everyone.

The haka she did was not the haka of all Maori people, it is the haka of a particular tribe of Maoris.
When a group of people force a collectivist identity onto people who can be considered to be of that group but do not want to be forced onto that identity as defined by that group of people, it is fascism, communism and primitive tribalism.
