'59 sound is definately my favourite album, The Backseat, Old White Lincoln, Great Expectations Meet me by the rivers edge and The '59 sound all in one album
You can tell how much he loves singing this song. You can really hear the smile in his voice on the chorus. It makes listening to it even better (if it is possible to make this better) and even though the subject matter is a bit down makes the song fun.
The bass is amazing!! Never tire of it!! I also luv the drums, they sound different, so to speak❤❤❤.

These guys are fantastic! The 59 Sound is by far my most listened to album of the year. They carry over solid live performances as well. These guys are headed for the mainstream.

One of the best bands out there today in my opinion. Brian Fallon talked about the story behind this song in an acoustic version he did, and the way he tells it just puts a smile on your face.

heard this song for the first time tonight, blew me away.....i hear a springsteen voice, the cure's guitars and bass, and travis barker's punchy drumming.....into a sound i've not heard yet......nice job guys this song is fucking sweet.....

@@maxmaexchen4445 He isn't, and he ripped his entire person off of Springsteen, so it's kinda hard to claim the guy is better than the person he's intimidating. Without Springsteen, this band wouldn't exist. Fallon wouldn't know what to do with himself.

Heard this song on the radio and liked it... thought the band would be like a east coast version of the Killers. Got the album... and wow I was blown away. Nothing at all like the Killers but something a lot more special. They have a terrific lyricist in Fallon and they definitely have that something going fro them.
I downloaded this cd and there is not one bad song on it. Thats rare these days

i thought he sounded like brandon too. thats what got me listening to them. the beginning to "been a contender" sounds like sams town brandon. but in the end they are completely different bands but equally awesome

I don't speak German. I was there when Bruce Springsteen came on and performed a duet with Gaslight. Later that evening Brian Fallon joined Bruce on the main stage for a duet.
I'm going to see them on 4th June!

I guess it's the reverb on the vocals that you can draw comparisons with the killers on but when they are playing live it sounds like if Miles Davis and Bruce Springsteen had a punk rock band together!
