Massive Attack - Be Thankful For What You've Got (Tonight With Jonathan Ross)

Broadcast on the Channel 4 show "Tonight With Jonathan Ross" on the 21st February 1992.
The singer in this video is Tony Bryan, who was the same singer on the album version of Be Thankful For What You've Got. He would also sing on the Daydreaming b-side - Any Love. This would be one of the few if only occasions he would perform live with Massive Attack.
The band featured in this video is mostly made up of session musicians hired by Massive Attack to do these live TV appearances for them around the early part of their career. 3D and Daddy G are not featured here, but Mushroom is.

It's funny how _this_ is Massive Attack. It just looks like some funk fusion band. It goes to show the breadth of interests the group had and their willingness to show it.
It's also funny that they performed the Paul Oakenfold mix, rather than the OG mix most of us know from the album.
This must be one of the only times in which Mushroom is the only person representing the band. Usually Mushroom is swept aside if anything from my understanding.

Mushroom is the strong, silent type. He wasn't into the whole interview stuff or being front of centre, he was happy for 3D to take on that role. Mushroom was just purely invested in the creativity aspects. I do agree though, it's nice to see him front and centre for once. If more people knew who important Mushroom was to those first 3 albums, they'd appreciate him much more.

should be:
