      Thanks! I agree, the MWS is tough to beat.

    The tokio marui buffer spring how much stiffer compared to the stock ghk? It is reliable to use with the LwBuffer?
    I have bought the enhanced ghk buffer spring and It’s too much stiff to be used with the LW buffer..
    it causes doubleshoots..
    Now im using the LW buffer with the stock ghk buffer spring but after many magazine and the bolt gets dried out, it needs maintenance as it’s really weak to push the bolt back.. then the MARUI buffer spring should solve the issue i think

    Hi badabing, I'd like to know if this kind of upgrade could damage or wear faster the nozzle once the bolt will clicle faster.
    And I know you like to use propane, do you think that propane wear the internals faster than green gas?

    • @BadaBingPictures
      @BadaBingPictures  6 років тому +1

      Hi.
      Propane is exactly the same as green gas. Although some brand green gas can be a little weaker than others.
      The GHK M4 is able to be used with CO2 and if the nozzles are rated for CO2, using it with Propane/Green Gas will not effect wear the nozzle any quicker.
      The higher cycle rate won’t wear out the nozzle quicker. The Lightweight buffer won’t create a heavy impact on the nozzle, so it’ll be fine.

    Hello Badabing, I am going to get a GHK m4v2, also the Colt engraved one... But i cant decide between the 12.5" or 14.5"... do you have any words of advice for me? It would be really appreciated.

    • @BadaBingPictures
      @BadaBingPictures  6 років тому

      Hiya.
      They’d be both the same, just different length barrel sets, one is no better than the other. Although the 12 is a less popular choice. People usually go either 10.5 or 14.5, so you’d be one of the few.
      If you play in close quarters a lot then the 12.5 would be slightly easier to handle around corners and stuff.
      Also the inner barrels would be different in length and they would probably produce different FPS readings. On gas guns the longer the inner barrel the higher the FPS tends to be. What FPS did you have in mind?

    • @thebroadcastuk
      @thebroadcastuk 6 років тому

      in terms of accuracy will there be a difference? Presumably if I was going to be primarily CQB the shorter is better... But as I would be mostly at Ground Zero (south of
      England) which is woodland, the need for a 10.5 is negated. But I figured that the 12.5 would be a good all rounder, particularly if there is no real difference in accuracy due to shorter barrel compared to the 14.5?

    • @thebroadcastuk
      @thebroadcastuk 6 років тому

      Oh, excuse me, I didnt expand your comment so i only saw the displayed first paragraph. the FPS rules at ground zero are 350

    • @BadaBingPictures
      @BadaBingPictures  6 років тому

      You might find that the accuracy is no different. The 14.5 using a 1j nozzle gave me around 340 - 350 during the winter, but this summer it shot up to 400 or over. So I would recommend the low velocity nozzle instead and would keep it sub 350 all year round.

      To be honest it’s quite gas efficient as it is. To make it slower you can use a heavier buffer/real AR buffer. This will help take away any bolt bounce and improve its feed.

    Thanks!

    • @BadaBingPictures
      @BadaBingPictures  6 років тому +4

      Hiya.
      It’s nothing scientific. Just use paper towel/rag on the BCG, inside upper/charging handle and clearing away grit and dirt from the lower. Using Q-Tips/Cotton wool on a stick to attack hard to reach areas.
      I back up some of the paper towel/kitchen roll inside the buffer tube to get any other dirt that’s deposited in there.
      Remove nozzle from BC and ensure it is free from dirt on the o-ring base. Then apply silicone oil to those rubber o-rings.
      I use GHK Silicone oil and lightly coat the BCG and maybe a drop on the hammer/striker.
      Reinstall and function check.
      With the inner barrel, I send a couple of small patches of tissue on an Airsoft cleaning rod, through the barrel. I turn off the hop up to prevent damage and in case of grease and grime, I may put a dab of cleaning alcohol on the patch and push it through. Ensuring I don’t ride over the rubber bucking.
      Repeating with dry patches until a fine sheen.
      Everybody’s different and we all have our own “standards”. Mine is a very casual approach to maintenance.
      Thanks for the suggestion, I may look at doing a vid on this subject.

  • @xXAust1n46Xx
    @xXAust1n46Xx 7 років тому +6

    I honestly feel like this makes no impact on semi auto firing. Even with the stock buffer and spring the rifle cycles faster than you can pull the trigger. The limiting factor when it comes to semi auto rate of fire is your finger and the quality of the trigger itself. (Unless you’re Jerry Miculek 😉)
    But maybe I’m biased because I like a hard kicking slow full auto from the heavy buffer.

    • @driftinsti
      @driftinsti 6 років тому +2

      Not really. The lighter buffer reduces the time the bolt spends at the rear position and allows the the bolt to return to battery much faster. Since the trigger can only release the hammer when the bolt is forward, you can only pull the trigger as fast as the bolt cycles. If your trigger squeezes are much faster than the cycling speed, you would end up have a dead trigger because you are pulling midway through a cycle thus preventing the hammer from firing. Now the question would be, are people's fingers fast enough to warrant this upgrade. Maybe.. maybe not. But then again who doesn't like a snappier/faster cyclic rate?

    • @PhantomM16
      @PhantomM16 6 років тому

      It definitely is faster, you can see/hear the bolt cycling faster. But is this an upgrade to make? It depends on the person. If you like the sound, feel and faster semi speed, then do it. But if you’re satisfied with it as-is, then leave it.
      I really like this video because it helps make a better decision on what to do on increasing cycling rate.

    Hey BadaBing great video. I love what you have done with the rate of fire. I would just be a little worried about the wear and tear factor in my own gun. You ever have any problems with nozzles breaking? Even with the aluminum ones I use they always seem to show signs of wear.

      Hi!
      Thanks. To be honest the thought has never crossed my mind. The only nozzle issues I’ve ever had on GHKs, is with the AK series and those tabs that can get unevenly worn.
      Resulting in a misalignment.
      But nothing with the M4. There isn’t any increased recoil which would mash the nozzle to bits, just a crisper function.

    While using the LW buffer , tm spring and co2 mag I thought I was hearing an hpa snap
    Edit : about that internal shrapnel, is it the buffer itself? Or the tube ??
