Interesting, was pursuing your channel to see if I could find any showing the accuracy of the TM. Now I'm curious to see how the TM preforms on accuracy rather than efficiency.
Enjoy your videos, thanks! This is interesting ... but not exactly empirical. You improved the accuracy with the TNT setup by increasing the fps. Hence you should have gone back and made a comparative test with the original barrel/hopup at the higher fps to see how that affected the grouping. Generally speaking, a higher joule rating is going to help negate any effect of air movement (breeze) or humidity on the trajectory of the BB's. Hence the possibly better grouping. Also, when performing these kinds of tests it's always preferable to rest the weapon on a bench or something in order to eliminate as far as possible the 'human element'. Saluti! :-)
Thanks for watching! Yeah, I get what you mean. As the TNT barrel has a tighter inner bore than the original barrel, the same fps could not be achieved with my selected nozzle. As the whole rig belongs to friend of mine, I only have available to me what he himself owns.
What fps and bb weaght do you use. Very interested in this rifle and i was wandering on the fps and jule creep, what with the new laws in uk on full auto rifles and the jule limit
+Daniel Murphy Chrono test using .20g and for accuracy test I used Airsoft Surgeon .30g. The rifle is usually set to 330. However since the bucking is a higher degree it required a reading in the 390's to achieve its accuracy score. This may prove tricky to get suited to UK regs. For example say your rifle had an adjustable nozzle which is tuned for 330 fps with the original barrel. Installing this upgrade would bump up the fps due to the tight bore barrel, usually to the tune of 370-380 ish. So one would have to dial back the adjustment on the nozzle to counteract the tighter tolerance the new barrel provides. Unfortunately in my experience the rifles efficiency would be heavily decreased, as the nozzle had been closed off so much more to limit the amount of gas flow to reduce fps, it kills off the gas that the system needs to operate correctly. The rifle would sluggishly fire off 15 bbs until it was empty of gas. I may make a follow up video explaining this and it's relevance to the UK and countries that have strict fps regulations. This isn't the only way to increase accuracy of the GHK M4, other options exist without the headaches 😉
Hey. Another question. Stocks gor the ghk. What options are out there. Compatability and whare to buy. Would like to swap out the stock when the v2s arive. Thanks again.
+Daniel Murphy The GHK buffer tube suits stocks of the Milspec variety. Whatever model takes your fancy, it’s highly likely to fit. What did you have in mind?
Was looking into getting an clasic fixed stock, but i also seen some collapsible aeg stocks and was wandering if they would fit with modification. I also seen one cauled ics uksr stock. Its an fixed solid stock that fits over the buffer and bolts in with an retention screw. No need to swap for clasic m16 buffer And wasnt sure if that could fit on an mill spec buffer. Ive not seen much info on what would happen if you put an normal aeg stock on an gbb m4 buffer thats mil spec. So not sure if the aeg stock is to narrow and wont slide over the mill spec buffer or the stock is wider than buffer and would wobble about without modification. Thanks again
is this the correct upgrade for a 14.5 barrel GHK M4 GBBR? ( i dont know if APS-X stands for something ) www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=15182
+Arokfridr Yeah there hasn't been much news on that subject since they revealed it. I think it's due for release next month according to some sources, Samoon being one of them.
+Arokfridr Yep. They’ve landed! Colt marked version due next month. However they are releasing upgrade kits to bring the V1’s up to date. So that’s good of them.
TNT do make VSR/GBB 50 and 60 degree hop up buckings now, and one for the KC-02. the APS-X system in my own KC-02 transformed the gun to say the least, now It's just a case of stabilizing the fps and using great quality bb's. 510mm TNT inner barrel and KC-02 APS-X hop up bucking 60 degree
Hey, I'm looking to buy my first softair. I realy love the realistic aspects of the gbb's like the realistic reload and that you get a bit of recoil when shooting - but almost every beginners guide says that you should buy an aeg as your first rifle. Are gbb's realy that unreliable? I would buy low cap mags anyway (for the aeg) so the realistic mag capacity is a plus for me. I saw a few videos that gbb's are still playable in cold weather. Would you recommend a gbb for a beginner or would you still recommend an aeg (even when I love realism and all the good aspects of a gbb)? Cost would not be a big issue. I'm interested in a mod 2 or the mod 1 (I guess the only difference is the lenght) but now that I heard the 2.0 is coming out I probably should wait for that if the release is not that far away.
+Marius Hi I think one of the reasons why people suggest to adopt electric guns first is just because it's easy. Rifle, battery, charger, bbs and an extra mag and you're ready. You don't have to put too much effort into it. Running GBBR's is more complicated and stretches beyond their performance and reliability. Just getting into the game, you will have to find your own play style. AEG's are perfect for this as you can find your feet easier than with a limited capacity GBBR. You'll get to know airsoft limitations, especially when it comes to range and accuracy. Not only that, starting out you will not necessarily be used to wearing face masks, eye protection and all the other little things about gaming. So while that sweet GBBR is cool and everything, it's going to be more of a pain to manipulate the controls while you're getting shot at, changing mags, wearing gloves, knocking your mask as you shoulder the rifle to aim down sights and other things you may come across upon your first few games. Main reason why people choose electric first. It's just easier. An ex squaddie mate of mine bought a GBBR first and even though it was the uber reliable GHK G5, he still sold it on a couple of months later as he didn't get on with it. You would have thought that coming from a military background he would be used to limited capacity etc... It just isn't the case a lot of the time. He now owns a TM HK416 Recoil AEG and couldn't be happier. I recommend an AEG first. I know the temptation to skip a step and go all out GBB, but I'd suggest you'd gain experience of the game first. The easy way. May take longer but you'll appreciate it more. 😉
Hm, well, then I will go with an aeg (s-aeg for me(germany-.-)). I guess everyone should have an aeg besides a gbb for the cold days or when it breaks. Do you sometimes have to play with an aeg yourself? Or do you only play with a gbb. (just asking if an experienced player like you can play with a gbb all year long or if everyone sometimes has to go with an aeg)
+Marius Yes. It's always handy to have an aeg for the winter or if the GBB is out of action. Although gas blow back rifles such as GHK M4's and AK's work well in colder conditions. And if the temperatures do drop even further, C02 magazines can keep you playing all winter long. However using hotter gas like C02 would increase FPS. So you would have to factor that in accordance with your location site FPS rules. I haven't used my electric gun in a while. I pretty much use GBB rifles exclusively. I have recent bought a 13kg propane tank and I refill my smaller propane cans, so it's now very cheap for me to run my GBB rifles and pistols. If you're serious about using Gas Blow Back rifles all year round, it may be worth looking into... If you would like me to make a beginners guide on GBBR, let me know. 😉
I guess I will buy a rather cheap aeg rifle (if there is one for under 200€) and a good gbb pistol (tm or something(would love the m9a1 but can't get it in germany so maybe the kwc m9 or tm hi-capa 5.1 gold match )) to get into airsoft and when the new ghk m4 comes out, I will just get this. First I was looking to buy a TM Scar recoil shock but after you said that I can use the ghk m4 even in cold conditions it would probably be wasted money to get the scar. (would never play with it unless the gbb was broken or should I get the scar anyways? -.- I am realy bad at making decisions) Would be great if you would make a beginners guide on gbbr's but only if you planned on doing something like it. (not because of my comments :P) Can't decide what to buy-.-
+Marius Well as I said AEG's are very handy to have. The TM SCAR Recoil is said to be a wonderful performer and it still blends the elements of a GBB (recoil, bolt lock on empty magazine), so it's one of the most realistic AEG's. Just without the heavier recoil and gas. If you can afford both however...😉 Yeah a GBB may crack a nozzle or something else were to go wrong and you could pick up your aeg and continue playing. Or for example, right now I am at a CQB site. (Just chilling in my car having a break), I used my GHK AKM this morning and this afternoon I'm going to take out my electric gun for a change. You may just fancy using electric after half a day with the GBBR.
Great videos as usual, one question, what type of adjustable nozzle did you install for this ghk mod 1? I know about the RA tech npas but you have to buy the aluminum nozzle for it.
Thanks! There is an adjustable nozzle from FG Airsoft installed. Essentially it’s a GHK nozzle with a hole drilled into the bolt lugs and tapped with a thread. You screw in the grub screw to decrease fps and unscrew to increase.
Perfect! I was actually comitting on buying the vfc hk416a5 because of the adjustable nozzle that comes standard but now that I can have that option on the ghk and after what happened to the hop up adjuster/gasblock of your vfc hk416 now I am leaning towards the ghk mod1. Or maybe a ghk mod 1 gen 2 if its worth the wait. Thanks for the reply!
Yes, same here. So what is the difference between the gen 1 and gen 2? I know it has improved bolt finish and bolt lock and also engraving and magazine weight. Because a local retailer here is mistakenly thinking (I think) That the ghk mod1 and mod 2 are ghk gen 2. They are not, am I right?
+Ric Ky You are correct. The MOD 1 and MOD 2 would be the same version as the standard GHK V1. If it is Version 2 I would imagine it would be displayed on the box V2. The improvements are as such: 1. New CNC machine bolt carrier : CNC process with heat treatment. Harder material and smooth performance. 2. Improvement of bolt lock: made of new material (magnet design adoption); stronger and more stable. 3. New version lightweight magazine: 35% weight reduction compared to the old magazine. (ver1 magazine weight: 661g / ver2 magazine weight: 400g) So it isn’t a major overhaul for the latest gen GHK, but their system doesn’t require much improvement anyway. It was pretty kick ass as it was!
10/10 would lend you my WE M4a1 to add to the MWS/GHK(and WE!) gbbr part 2 comparison (if you need one!). I feel WE always cop alot of flack and are perceived as lower end but in my experience have always performed fantastically well and shouldn't be discounted as such. #gbbrmasterrace
if you where to take a sample of WE Gbbr's you'll find many of them will begin to fail sooner then their other brand counter parts. aswell as internals wear out quicker. then when replaced with reinforced parts, the other internals wear even quicker then. so soon the gun is just the WE shell with replaced internals. I'm not knocking your personal rifle, sounds like you got one of the good ones, So congrats :D I hope you enjoy it :)
Thanks! I am currently looking to perform the DH mod for their new Lightweight magazines. Interested to see if they can take it, also I’m looking to find a source for CO2 refills local to me. It’s a bit pricy to get setup initially, but we’ll see.
I mean an upgraded barrel of course will do better. Try to put a prometheus aeg barrel and maple leaf bucking in the stock chamber to see if it’s better
Can anyone tell me why GHK use aeg buckings for all their GBBr's? Is that a deliberate choice? Everyone knows a VSR type bucking is what gives gbbrs such great range advantages over AEG buckings Perhaps a Flat hopped Gas Gun is the secret we've all been missing?
Sure. They offer soft and hard buckings that will suit low fps and high fps. Be aware that if you require a low fps, the barrel is a tighter diameter and will increase your fps even more. So you would need a low power nozzle, or an adjustable nozzle.
Hey BadaBing, I recently got the TNT APS-X kit 455mm for my VFC 416D GBBR and im from Ireland so our FPS limit is a crappy 328 FPS with 0.20g bbs lol and the climate is crap too. When you purchase the kit the stock rubber they put in it is of a hard type rubber so i had to contact Jackie from TNT Studios and informed him of my issue and could it be because of the rubber being of a hard type rubber. I have had this issue before with other hop configs i have tried always with the same result so i went for a 50-60 degree rubber and it has fixed my issues. I would defo suggest reaching out to Jackie and get a 60 degree TNT Directional rubber and you should see the different after just a few rounds.. I hope this helps my fellow GBBR user.
+Morgan o brien That's cool mate. Yep, it was immediately clear when I increased the FPS and tried again. What a difference. Yeah 50 or 60 degree rubbers would be great for lower fps guns. The buckings available on Samoon etc..aren't specified of the hardness degrees. I've heard they are releasing the lower degrees which is great.
Excellent review. Big fan of your your methodical approach. I'm on the fence whether I should get this for my GHK M4 V2...it's stock internals and shooting fairly hot already, sitting at around 2.2 joules with 0.28's. Following your conclusions, I would have to bump that up to at least 0.30's and then I'm starting to doubt whether it will be useful any longer as I would really start to keep my distance. In any case, thanks for the hard work to guide us GBBR users in our purchases :-)
Thank you! The GHK M4's run so hot don't they? I suppose thats a good thing if you think about it, lets you know how highly gassed the system really is. If you need to watch your chrono speeds it's probably worth avoiding this upgrade. Of course you can just use the adjustable nozzle/or make an adjustable nozzle to tap off some excess gas, however the tight bore barrel gives you too much speed and adjusting the nozzle to compensate drastically reduced the gas efficiency. In my experience anyway. I could barely shoot off 15 bbs to a 10 second gas charge. Thats how much I had to adjust the nozzle just to get the FPS to site regulations. If it were me, I'd look at using a short length (250mm or shorter) Orga Widebore AEG barrel 6.23 and combining that with a intermediate bucking of some description, all within the stock chamber. With the shorter barrel I can ensure the my speed stays low and doesnt run away during the summer. I built this into my friends GHK Mod1 (rifle in this video) and it cuts straight, so on that basis that's what I'm looking at doing.
Good review. Your results section of the accuracy segment would be way better if you measured the size of each grouping center to center (picking the 2 farther shots) and listed them all out so people can compare once instead of trying to remember what each target looked like. Your points about GBBRs at 7:20 seconds would be fixed if you had your barrel R Hop'd and lapped.
+Reece Mechanical Thanks. Yes, measuring group size would better define the performance. Shooting outside isn't always going to create consistent hits and this was the best I was able to score without wind screwing it all up.
+Vasriotaep - French GBBR Airsoft Player No worries... Yes, this TNT kit is definitely better than the stock version. It would be easy to buy this and turn your GHK M4 into a DMR. Use .36g or heavier bbs, with fps 400+ and it will be a fine shooter. But I must say that it is still for a toy gun and therefore it will only be as good as physics will allow, despite the legends told on the internet 😉
Is the inner barrel aligned correctly within the hop up chamber? As is the case with the design, the barrel just slides into the chamber and can be misaligned easily.
GHK gen 2 does not include any upgrades that would affect accuracy. Changes are: improved material/craft in trigger group, magnetic actuated bolt lock, lighter magazines with better efficiency
+Stan Woo Yes, I knew their newer version doesn't include hop up improvements. However these updated features are among the much needed evolution of their M4, to remain top of their game. The bolt lock has always been a downfall of this system and I think we're all glad to see them focus on getting it right.
i think the stock aeg chamber is better, along with precision barrel and nice aeg bucking you will get better accuraci than with tnt kit. only downside of the stock chamber is , its plastic and can break
Is that also a real elcan? 🙃 I know your real one is bronze. And good video showing close ups of a good grouping. I use a kwa lm4 with RA tech hop kit and I never really knew what was considered "good" for Airsoft accuracy.
+xXAust1n46Xx Lol nope, it is a replica Elcan. I needed magnification, and that one was lying around. It's only when you see what other rifles and builds can do in the accuracy department that makes you question the effectiveness within your own personal rifle. How do I get my gun to do that...🤔 haha.
have you considered the "TNT TR-Hop" buckings that are an R hop design? the APS-X seem to be out of stock where I'd usually look for them. they make great barrels and the hop up buckings are pretty good too
This M4 had the FG airsoft modified nozzle. Otherwise known as a "Grub screw modification". A thread was installed by the bolt lugs and you could calibrate the flow of gas.
Is the TNT hopup chamber better than the maple lead version?
How the hell did you make the hop up fit into the chamber base. It doesn't go all the way in.
Just got this barrel today and bbs won’t even shoot out of it. they just keep getting jammed where the hop up is
Did the business shut down? I placed an order but I never received an order number. The transaction appeared on paypal, but my order history said I didn't pay for it.

I've filmed an accuracy showdown between the two M4 GBB's. The stock TM, versus the TNT upgraded GHK.
It's very very close!

Hey badabing, nice review. Do you think the TNT retrofit kit would fit with a poseidon 6.05 barrel?
Hi!
Thanks. I honestly don’t know if it would fit. I know it is its own design. So AEG type barrels and buckings are a no-go.
Do these do well in AEG’s too?
Just bought this m4 is this barrel with hop up worthy? Compare to original ? Wheeler can I find it ?
Could i use .4+ with this set up?
It will be able to throw 0.40’s or heavier without any issues.
@@BadaBingPictures what about the standard GhK bucking?
I recent tried .4’s and it can hop them very well. There’s enough adjustment to lift them on mine.

It’s a drop-in fit. No modifications, just remove the outer barrel and original hop up and then slide it in.

That the ghk mod1 and mod 2 are ghk gen 2. They are not, am I right?
+Ric Ky You are correct. The MOD 1 and MOD 2 would be the same version as the standard GHK V1. If it is Version 2 I would imagine it would be displayed on the box V2.
The improvements are as such:
(ver1 magazine weight: 661g / ver2 magazine weight: 400g)
So it isn’t a major overhaul for the latest gen GHK, but their system doesn’t require much improvement anyway. It was pretty kick ass as it was!
What kind of flash hider do you have on it
+OmgItsBillyBruh
I think it's a generic QD suppressor ready flash hider.
It's what comes with the MOD 1.
BadaBingPictures thank you very much
10/10 would lend you my WE M4a1 to add to the MWS/GHK(and WE!) gbbr part 2 comparison (if you need one!).
Does this unit fit in the v2 m4 as well?
Yes. It was only the bolt carrier, bolt lock and a couple of other things improved, they didn’t touch the upper receiver or outer barrels.
👍
BadaBingPictures alright good to know, thanks for the quick response
You’re welcome.
Have a good one!
Great informative video! Will you ever do the Devil Hunter Mod 0 or Mod 1 for your GHK mags?
Thanks!
I am currently looking to perform the DH mod for their new Lightweight magazines. Interested to see if they can take it, also I’m looking to find a source for CO2 refills local to me.
It’s a bit pricy to get setup initially, but we’ll see.
Better than Maple leaf ghk M4?
I mean an upgraded barrel of course will do better. Try to put a prometheus aeg barrel and maple leaf bucking in the stock chamber to see if it’s better
Can you use that on a vfc m416 a5?
No, not compatible.
TNT make a kit specifically for the VFC HK416A5 GBBR.
How did you increase the FPS?
It has an FG Airsoft adjustable nozzle.
Using B-style hop-up chamber(adjustable ring in gun chamber, need to use hexagon screwdriver) due to my m4 is floating-rail
This is version 2 ?
This is the Version 1 M4
Thanks you
Version2 no mod1/2 ?
Version2 have mod1/2?
Can anyone tell me why GHK use aeg buckings for all their GBBr's? Is that a deliberate choice?
Everyone knows a VSR type bucking is what gives gbbrs such great range advantages over AEG buckings
Perhaps a Flat hopped Gas Gun is the secret we've all been missing?
Worth to change it ?
Sure. They offer soft and hard buckings that will suit low fps and high fps.
Be aware that if you require a low fps, the barrel is a tighter diameter and will increase your fps even more.
So you would need a low power nozzle, or an adjustable nozzle.
How do you install this bad boy?
It’s a drop in fit.
The procedure for getting it into the rifle is exactly the same as any standard AR-15 barrel takedown.
BadaBingPictures ok thanks you've been really helpful I'm looking forward to getting my ghk v2
You’re welcome!
Are u Canadian?
Jay Tucker yes
no he’s british
+Morgan o brien
That's cool mate. Yep, it was immediately clear when I increased the FPS and tried again. What a difference.
Yeah 50 or 60 degree rubbers would be great for lower fps guns.
The buckings available on Samoon etc..aren't specified of the hardness degrees.
I've heard they are releasing the lower degrees which is great.
is it compatible with viper tech M4?
Yes, TNT has a hop up unit for viper techs which I've also been wanting however it is out of stock everywhere at the moment.
6:10 hit your camera oof
+Reece Mechanical
Thanks.
Yes, measuring group size would better define the performance. Shooting outside isn't always going to create consistent hits and this was the best I was able to score without wind screwing it all up.
I know Im just making a suggestion on how to present your results in the video so viewers can have a better more concise grasp at the outcome
+Reece Mechanical
No problemo, thanks for the input.
I'll look at using this method next time around. Cheers bro!
So if I understand well, as english is not my native language, the tnt kit is really better than the stock version
+Vasriotaep - French GBBR Airsoft Player
No worries...
Thx!
BadaBingPictures
the fps limit in my country is 360 on .20
Is this gonna work with the TNT?
@@BadaBingPictures did you test it with a low fps nozzle ? :) like the fg airsoft nozzle ?
I did, yes. But the Hop Up bucking that was inside was a high degree/hard rubber. So it needed high fps to achieve the best results.
mine hooks left bad even when the bucking is aligned.
+Stan Woo
Yes, I knew their newer version doesn't include hop up improvements. However these updated features are among the much needed evolution of their M4, to remain top of their game.
The bolt lock has always been a downfall of this system and I think we're all glad to see them focus on getting it right.
Waiting for maple leaf hop up kit🙂
i think the stock aeg chamber is better, along with precision barrel and nice aeg bucking you will get better accuraci than with tnt kit. only downside of the stock chamber is , its plastic and can break
I think I would prefer using the original chamber as well and use an upgrade inner barrel/bucking, along with 0.3g - 0.36g.
Is that also a real elcan? 🙃 I know your real one is bronze. And good video showing close ups of a good grouping. I use a kwa lm4 with RA tech hop kit and I never really knew what was considered "good" for Airsoft accuracy.
+xXAust1n46Xx
Lol nope, it is a replica Elcan.
I needed magnification, and that one was lying around.
It's only when you see what other rifles and builds can do in the accuracy department that makes you question the effectiveness within your own personal rifle.
How do I get my gun to do that...🤔 haha.
awesome as usual
+totiksilkway
Thank you for watching :-)
thanks for making)) was really wondering about this unit, you kinda answered most of the questions I had)) thanks again))
+totiksilkway
Fantastic.
I made this just for you!
Haha, you're welcome. Glad to have helped.
Hiho, i‘ve upgraded my G&G Tr16 with an 455 mm long TNT APS-X Innerbarrel.
My gun is now an fucking lasergun.
I loved it 😁
Enemy Sniper hate it 😉
have you considered the "TNT TR-Hop" buckings that are an R hop design? the APS-X seem to be out of stock where I'd usually look for them. they make great barrels and the hop up buckings are pretty good too
Made in Taiwan!!!
Use heavier bbs
Thank you for your shooting. For more information, please refer to our official website.

thanks
you sound like a narrator of a horror story.
+Junnel Ausan
Haha...thanks!....I think...
Taiwan TNT NICE
How did you adjust your fps
This M4 had the FG airsoft modified nozzle. Otherwise known as a "Grub screw modification". A thread was installed by the bolt lugs and you could calibrate the flow of gas.
is this compatible with GP WOC system?
