Kelly Edward, you are a great host. You allow the viewers to express themselves, you do not talk over them, you allow them the space to soar their imagination, and also tell you what details of the house they like.
she seems like a lovely lady! seemed so down to earth, she didn't have anything bad to say about any of the houses. really glad she found the perfect house for her!
Tracey: Ha, ha, ha . . . I so agree with you. The thought of entertaining of group of people is my nightmare. I would rather spend the evening by myself.
I thought the 3rd house was lovely and a bargain compared to the others. With the savings she can have all her entertaining catered (fancy chef!) and have the pool cleaned, new furniture, a Paris apartment... I would love it :)
California is crowded. Properties are too close to each other for such a high tax bracket. For this much money, I don't want to see a damn soul for miles. Lol! I'd rather buy land, build my house exactly the way I want it and own acres.
THANK YOU!! As someone who lives here and grew up here, I am in 100% agreement. Somewhere along the line, the "California Dream" became---live with 100 other people, that you don't know, stacked on and/or as close to you, as is humanly possible...and pay as much for that as we can squeeze out of you.
I own , paid for 4 acres and a pond, private no one behind me nor to one side. If my place was in palm springs, it would be 5 million, maybe but where I live it's under 200,000.
All three houses are great and beautiful, but the 1st one was so lovely and had a lot of positive energy for me, and it had a softer and more beautiful outdoor view, but I would paint the outdoor walls beige instead of gray :) Of course I understand that the price is also very important to consider (but if all the prices were reasonable I would choose the 1st house)
thanks for uploading the full video. both house no. 1 and 3 are gorgeous. the master bath and the huge closet of the house no. 3 is amazing and i love the bricks in front of the house and of course i love love loveeeeeeee the price! im happy she picked the third house. :)
@@briansperry Watching this from Central Europe. These houses are so beautuful. Having a litle bit of garden it would make them perfect in every aspect also for the dogs. The third house is spacious, has features from a dream and is the cheapest. She is clever and seems humble and nice. Very nice video.
@@Eskarinka1 I agree about the garden! I would want that bit of a garden space for the puppies, and peace. Great episode! Nice lady! I'm in Iowa, but originally from California, so I, of course really took this particular episode. Loved all 3 properties...but I KNEW she belonged with house #3... & you just can't beat that value! She would've been a fool not to! Smart gal

Somebody give me 4 million 💰💵 🤑
Great example of a buyer unfamiliar with different cities in OC. A new subdivision in Huntington Beach is many steps down from a beautiful established community in Newport Beach. There's no comparison. I wonder if she really did buy the 3rd house. Hope she got a good local realtor to help her recognize the important differences in location between houses 1 and 3.
You have to have millions, when you move here! Because; not only do the homes cost millions, the taxes almost do too! 😂 Very nice homes; but I would not pay those prices; unless I could see the beach! 👍⭐👍
I feel exactly the way she did about the houses. Outside I didn't like the 3rd house, walking in, I thought it was dark but I was pleasantly surprised. The first house was beautiful but just like she says, 3rd house offered better value for the money plus have the most beautiful master bath
Keep in mind, that is Orange County and closer to the coastal area, which is some of the most expensive real estate in Southern California. The two areas that I like the most are Laguna Beach and Dana Point, but the homes and sites just seem out of whack with what you get compared to what you pay. Heck, even in Silicon Valley, if you pay enough, you are getting acres of land along with your huge home. Not down there in SoCal.
Don't watch reality tv... Shocker, eh? At first glance, this homeowner (Toni) reminded me of a mix between Delta Burke & Elvira. Both classically gorgeous ladies; absolutely no disrespect intended.
I hated the cupboards in the first house, the 2nd house was cool, 3rd house was nice, but neighbors all around you. The realtor is nuts to say the 2nd house was “a hair over” i wonder if she would like to lose about 15.5% commission, and b told it is just a hair of a loss. 500,000. difference is a huge difference. She shouldnt of taken her to something THAT over.

She would've been much better off buying the first house. It was more money, but it's Newport Beach which has much better appreciation and resale value for sure. I know that particular area and it's a super-great area. Not on the beach, but that would cost much more $$. Also at house #1 she's got nobody behind her. Every home I've ever owned, if I had a problem with a neighbor (like damn barking dogs!) it was the house(s) behind me... Too bad the #3 house wasn't in Newport Beach!
It is amazing how different living spaces can be depending on where you need to live. We've lived so many places across the US and 3+ years in Europe, and you adjust to what you have to. Living "tight" (squished and surrounded by a lot of people) is not what we enjoy, but we managed, when necessary we made it work.
