Maybe cus Prom is mostly seen as a senior thing. So maybe they want it to be just a bit more special for Seniors since it is their last dance and stuff.

I was happy to pay until I realized what that made me to my friends, and when you stop giving, whether it be because you’re trying to save money, feel unappreciated or aren’t making the same money anymore, you’re lucky if anyone sticks around.

I wanted to go but i didn't have any friend and if i would go i wanted to go in a suit but i felt like i crave attention.. so i didn't go to my farewell party and still everyone calls me dumb for not going😢 i don't regret but i wanted to wear a suit or blazer
alexander wang! its pricey but i would still recommend. i saved up for mine and it was so worth, i've used it for debate competitions and all the way to prom lol and i rlly like how it makes my shoulders look :D
