One of the things that inspires me most about country music is the true faith and love of God that most country performers exhibit and the fact that they are totally comfortable getting on stage in front of their peers and singing out their beliefs for all the world to hear, knowing that they'll be warmly received. Seeing Reba in tears after this powerful song brought tears to my eyes. Boy, I loved that song and loved your honest reaction.

Reba is a powerhouse of a singer. I love Lauren also, but Reba, she has so many amazing songs reflecting so many different things & emotions. Some are lighthearted & fun, some are amazingly soulful like this one. I wouldn't even know where to begin for a song you should hear from her. "I'm gonna take that mountain", "He gets that from me", "Fancy", her music has spanned a couple decades. Absolutely amazing person.

Since you're a Christian man & family, you & Ali should dive into reacting to some Christian music. There aren't a lot of reactions like that out there, so there's an underserved population you could tap into! I look for them all the time, but they're very hard to find. It would also be a great testimony as the Spirit definitely moves through Christian music, just as He did when King David played! Lauren Daigle has an amazing voice, so she would be a good place to start!

Ohhh...you don't know about Lauren! As others have suggested, definitely check out more of her stuff. She's not normally country - although I know that's not an issue for you any more, but just saying. 😉 "You Say" may wreck you a little bit. And yes, from what I've heard from somebody who's been near her, Reba is a very nice person in 'real life'.
