Fil, fantastic song, bl**dy great songwriting and the production is spot on, love it, love it, love it. Trimming people who go for the excuse rather then the result from our circle, is something we all need to do. #QcumberSquad #LaurenDaigle - Fil, I'm off back to the study.
One of my favorite songs. Powerful words. Always lift me up. Yes, I believe God was on her mind throughout. Most of her music leads me to believe this. Beautiful lyrics.
Satin is constantly trying to keep us down. She is remember on God's promises. Yes, we need to know that we are loved despite the obstacles Iin life. She is singing and thanking our Heavenly Father. We all need to pray to God and HE will bring us up. We are children of God and His love is ever enduring. Unconditional LOVE. I believe because God tells us that HE will never be exhausted of our requests for validation!!! You don't realize you are being stupid!
I hate to get down on you, but you read that Lauren Daigle is a contemporary Christian artist, yet failed to understand the "You" in this song is not her boyfriend, fiance, or husband but God! Quite frankly, you talked too long, over 10 minutes about a 4 minute song. You would play a few seconds of the song and then ramble on for 3 to 5 minutes about you and your wife's relationship as you missed that the song is Lauren in conversation with her Lord and Savior. You completely missed what makes this song so powerful! I won't give you a thumbs down but I can not give you a thumbs up, my brother from another mother. God bless you. A bit surprised as one of the books in the display cas behind you was titled "Conversations with God ", only thing I can guess is that is one of your wife's books! Please have your wife watch a lyric video of this song, please. I am sure that she will "get it". Again, God bless you.
A first time interpretation of a song that I innocently misinterpreted and you're making assumptions and judgements about me and my books with your holier than thou comments. Hmm, how Christian of you. Pray for yourself....brother. And do it in the mirror. Maybe god can help you reflect on your smugness. But God bless you, brother.
OMG! Enough with the philosophizing already! Just listen to the damn song! She's singing about her relationship with God and saying she believes His word and trusts on Him. Nearly 16 minutes of you telling us things she's Not singing about and we really don't care about your wife/son/family relationships!
"You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing"... "When I don't belong, you say I am yours" -- this song is about her relationship with God.
It's an incredible song and yes she's singing to God.❤❤❤
This song has seen me through some really tough times! 😇❤

Beautiful lyrics.
Really nice song.
Oh cool! She's from my home town, Lafayette, LA. I knew her in high school.
You are a fortunate person to have known this beautiful (in soul and body) woman!

Fil you reacted to Lauren Daigle and Hillsong United - How Great Thou Art 😀😀 she is talking to God, referring to God and not to a lover
Taking this off my list then =)
Sorry😢

My interpretation off a first time listen... Hindsight is 2020.... Slow clap for you Mark... Well done.
You said what I said, perhaps more politely though.
