Man the voice acting this episode was just so damn good. Toya/Dabi screaming "ENDEAVORRRRR," Shoto begging his Dad to stand up and fight for everyones sake, and Endeavor himself acknowledging how much pain he's in before being completely broken down by Toya's reveal. Everything was so tense!

A small part that was cut out from the manga that added tension was right before the reveal Rei's nurses were rushing to go to her room to turn the tv off but were too late and one of Fuyumi's coworkers interrupted one of her classes to notify her about the news, plus the best jeanist hint wasn't as obvi because it just showed the pilot and someone's back
I don’t think they had a choice with Jeanist. Everyone would’ve recognized his voice as soon as the episode dropped. It’s like Slime, where Yuuki was revealed to be allied with the Moderate Harlequins and Kazaream in the anime, but that reveal wasn’t until much later in the ln and manga. They could’ve either tried unsuccessfully to hide it and been criticized for not pulling it off, or just reveal Jeanist in the beginning.

Best Jeanist did not lose his quirk. All for One said that Jeanist's quirk was only powerful because of the time and effort he put into learning how to use it, and he didn't want to do that, so he didn't take it.
However AFO did put a giant hole through Best Jeanist's chest. That is the injury he has been recovering from all this time.

This is probably actually the inspiration for the twist. There are a ton of Star Wars easter eggs peppered through MHA, Horikoshi is known to be a big fan.
Shoto sounded a lot like Eren there in the end and it's just so insane. (Shoto and Eren from AOT share the same VA) He's usually so quiet and deadpan but hearing him scream and cry like that broke my heart. What an amazing episode, and what an amazing reveal. Good lord Dabi! The Todoroki family continues being the best part of the series.
Yeah I agree, got me feeling angst with that part and he was channeling that Eren energy. The most emotional Shoto has sounded so far in the series.
And Dabi briefly sounded like Connie too.
Dabi's Prominence Burn would have turned Shoto and Endeavor into Ash 100%
Yeah, because blue flames are the hottest flame. Plus, when his fire was still not blue, he already have much more potential than Endeavor. A fight between two brothers would be painful for sure, Shoto wants to save his brother, I feel like if Dabi would continue to use his flames, there's a possibility that he would die on his own fire because he has no resistance.
It's just saddening that poor innocent shoto was added to his brother's anger and wants to kill him. Todoroki family, aside from shoto is responsible for Dabi.

Can't believe Dabi has the same VA as Zenitsu. He really did a great job!! That scene became more exceptional because of the voice🙌
Dabi has a stronger flame quirk than endeavor but his body is made a for an ice quirk so he’s literally burning himself alive every time he uses his quirk and yeah Dabi told no one about his true identity until now and there’s still A LOT OF CONTEXT he left out

Dabi straight up did the Joker dance, pulled out the test results like Maury, and made Shoto panic so much he switched characters 😂 (dude plays him & Eren), but the small detail that he calls him dad instead of Endeavor *chef kiss* 🤌🏾
Dabi is a villain to heroes but a hero to the world for revealing the trust and completing stain's will
Except that it wasn't a lie, Dabi spoke from the belief that Hawks had actually killed Best Jeanist. When Hawks recovers, if he doesn't get it cleared up about what he did with Best Jeanists, then it won't matter that Hawks didn't actually kill him. The role of Dabi's speech is to shake the faith of the populace in heroes for hire. This was literally the enactment of Stain's purpose!

A biggest hint before was Dabi’s burn marks, he has them around his eyes and mouth, where endeavour usually wears his flames
Well, Best Jeanist DID said that he planned on coming back soon back on season 5, so I don't see why you're so surprise with him coming back into action. I thought you felt like it was only a matter of time.
That and Endeavor and Hawks got caught in 4K. My goodness. And I think Compress might have a lineage like Touya. Why else would he said that?

Here's something that'll leave you speechless, ever wondered why Dabi keeps burning himself with his flames?
Endeavor said in s5 that Touya had fire power even greater than him but had Rei's weak constitution. Thus, means that Dabi body was made for ice ❄ not fire 🔥, that's why his flames hurt him.
I don’t know how the anime will do it, but this isn’t a spoiler because the anime covered it multiple seasons ago. There are certain unsavory parts of hero society that just aren’t covered in-depth and may have been hindsight by Horokoshi that he added later on. Basically, quirk counseling (from Togas perspective in what you’ve seen) is a scam. Quirks dictate behavior to a certain degree. Toga cannot, at all, help who she is and her desires. The current hero society ignores it. That’s just about all I can say before you see what hero society really is…Momo’s internship and her frustrations highlight that fact along with the huge gap between Allmight and the rest of the heroes. If they grew up with Allmight always there…then why take anything seriously. Anyway, get ready for consequences to everything that was just hinted at in every prior season. I can’t say much more, but society (real or fictional) is always more complicated than one perspective tends to highlight

There were theories in the manga community at the time since dabi first showed up using fire, but they were just that, theories. But when the anime showed dabi using blue fire, same that endeavor used against the nomu during Stain's Arc, the theories suddenly stopped being just funny ideas, it actually became a conspiracy.
So by the time this happened in the manga, after the touya reveal that he died, everybody was like sure dabi was actually touya, so it wasn't a question of "i wonder if it's true?" it was more of a "when is he confirming this? why is horikoshi holding on to this reveal?" and then this dropped in the manga, and it's honestly one of my favorite chapters form the entire series.

They cannot get rid of the picture proof Dabi provided. Plus Jeanist already looks shady cause he has been absent for a while.
Not to mention the heros initiated the attack on Shiggy. It was never Dabis goal to make people side with the villains. They just wanted the public to distrust the heros and therefore the government, cause the heros and the government really do look incompetent and shady now after all this damage.
Hero society in Japan is physically and mentally broken.
It's an ungrateful society. After chaos breaks out, they will beg for the heros to return.
The most important thing you mentioned was the fact that so many people died along with so much damage to the infrastructure for what (warning, don’t read beyond this point but it should be obvious from this point) (double spoiler warning. Seriously it’s spoiler) was absolutely nothing in return. The heroes initiated an attack on villains, seemingly unprovoked, that caused absolute catastrophe across Japan. The heroes have no leg to stand on here. They messed up in a huge way that the symbol of peace never would have done.
@@MrTintedshades That’s what the people will see, yeah. They won’t be able to realize that if the heroes hadn’t acted now, things would be infinitely worse than they are now. Can you imagine what would’ve happened if Shiggy’s side had been the ones to make the first move? For all that went wrong in this op, the heroes made the only choice they could have, and it was the right one. And I’ll die on this hill.
What I know is that many reactors will disagree with the MHA society's reactions after this war lmao

Dabi's trying to destroy Hero Society by Cancelling it! (This means all the current and former Heroes, All Might and Best Jeanist too.)
When the Dabi reveal was made in the manga the Joker movie had come out somewhat recently so everyone was comparing the sequence of panels where Dabi was making his way down Gigantomachia's back to the scene where the Joker was doing his dance down some steps.
Toga is a girl that has been broken by the strain put on her by the drives of her quirk and the pressure of Japanese society to conform no matter what (it's why she's the only one I'll be completely sympathetic for), though I think the best part was after Toga left and Ochaco/Uravity starts to realize that maybe Toga wasn't there messing with her "just" for the sake of messing with her.
Truly a missed chance to possibly save someone by her.

The Ochaco/Toga scene was overshadowed but still hit home. Most people just chalk it up to a cat-fight over a boy with lackluster action. Toga is the way she is because of the quirk she was born with. Ochaco is in a tight situation where she needs to protect people and unconsciously solidify the harsh words of episode 1. Not all men are created equal.
Um y'all realize 80% and climbing of the world population has quirks. So yeah it's not about quirks themselves but who and how they are allowed to be used
Some interesting theories posed there but Endeavour is trying to make amends he's not gonna say that Dabi was lying, but would go against the wrongs he's trying to set right.
The parrellels between All Might are Endeavor are crazy. Remember when All Might found out Shiggy was Nana's grandson? He stood frozen in shock, then gran torino and the lady snapped him out of it.

JEANIST was recovering from injury from all for one he didn't loss his quirk. the pussy cat girl got her quirk "search" taken from her shigiraki now has that quirk.
A lot of people will say twists are bad, but the fact that most people were able to figure out who Dabi was showed that the author is good at foreshadowing, and gave you the logical conclusion-none of that lol, here’s a random twist just to be random stuff. I mean, this is a better payoff than the last Star Wars movie.
22:55 That's just it, Toga won't accept that no one understands her way of thinking, nor that no one will agree with what she wants to do or let her do it. At this point, even not agreeing with her, or even telling her "I don't have time for this," she's taking it as rejecting her. Best Jeanist got one-shotted by All For One in Season 3. He even said Best Jeanist's quirk isn't worth taking.

Dabi unveils his far more sadistic and unhinged side, expressing a maddened and gleeful expression upon confronting his father and youngest brother. With his sadism and vengeance fully renewed, Dabi is shown to completely relish in any and all pain he can cause Endeavor
Best Jeanist never lost his quirk. He got a giant donut hole made by All for One.
All for One didn't take his quirk because the quirk on it's own wasn't all to strong. Best Jeanist made it strong. And because with All for One he gets so many quirks it is best to get multiple high power and easy to use quirks than to master a bunch of different quirks with different styles

Two years ago when MHA manga chapter-290 "Dabi's Dance" came out, manga fans went crazy like hell yo! "Dabi's Dance" even out-trended 2020 US Presidential Election on Twitter and Internet in general back then and this just proves how damn popular Dabi or "Dabi's Dance" was and still is. It's still considered one of the greatest moments/revelations in the MHA series. We manga fans always knew Dabi is Touya Todoroki and seeing this get revealed made us manga fans feel relieved and validated. Back then everyone was like - "Fuck Donald Trump and Joe Biden! Dabi for the 2020 President, everyone!"

So one of my favourite characters in this whole series is All for One. I like his powers, design and whole demeanour of being unrepentant evil. That being said I fully support all means to take him down because even though I like the character I want he is the bad guy and don't agree with his morality (or lack of).
I think when you guys joke about liking the villians it rubs certain people the wrong way because their is a very vocal group out there that actually justify the villian actions as rightous. Not saying you guys do that but with how many people actually believe that can easily be taken as that.
If Toga did need to take ALL the blood from the people she loves.....umm, I'm sure she could find a partner aaand make things work.
Dabi did more damage to hero society, cancelling his dad, then anyone ever did. This was a big defeat. The hero’s took a huge blow and are still dealing w the aftermath in the manga today. The Todoroki family’s public image will always be tarnished.

Hawks delifing Twice wouldn't really be that much of a problem if they were 100% ok with heroes delifing villains. The other stuff I can't speak on because Toya/Dabi was spittin. Well except for Blue Jeanists death.
Toga went off ALONE during the attack INTO enemy forces because asking her questions to Ochaco meant THAT much. She really did explain openly and almost naively to Ochaco about her Quirk based motivations and Ochaco Doesn't Listen because Toga's a villian. And it's another instance of Heroes ignoring the dregs of society in the name of "justice". Toga gets heartbroken because she, once again, expressed her honest personality Quirk to a member of society(Ochaco) in an act of love and the hero (Uravity) didn't try to understand them and deemed them a villian. Only the League understands her, so that's where she'll stay and belong.

Don’t forget Toga killing an old lady and taking Uravity from a mission of saving people as Togas people are destroying the country.

Anyone else not care about the Toga plot at all? Nothing about her makes sense at all or her dumb reasonings. The fact that she has a normal human body beating trained heroes gives me a headache. She talks in circles and nothing is missed if you skip all her scenes lol.
I like her but her plot line kinda Meh but it’s also still funny so i roll with it. Normal Human Body? Dunno about that. Lol. She ran when Froggy appeared so it’s clear she got her physical limits. She was fighting Uravity in a close space which was a disadvantage for Uravity i think

I genuinely love Endeavor and Hawks, and Endeavor was the character I hated the most then I first started MHA, and by the time Endeavor reached out to Shoto after he passed his hero licence test, and his fight with High-end Nomu and the support he got from Hawks... Endeavor became my favorite character, and as the manga goes along, I just couldn't help but love him even more.
Endeavor is the most interest character in MHA imo, and he is, in my eyes, a true hero. Not a perfect person, but he tries to be better, and always puts others before himself.
Also, Natsu (yes that character is based on Natsu of Fairy Tail) isn't Endeavor's numb 1 fan, that's actually Hawks. Hawks became a hero bcs of Endeavor, Endeavor saved Hawks' life by arresting his father, and the only comfort Hawks had as a child and growing up was his Endeavor plushy. Hawks is Endeavor's staunchest supporter and fan, he goes wherever he goes. And Endeavor fully trusts, relies, and believes in Hawks.
They have the most interesting dynamic in the whole manga.
I dont know why i often felt reluctant to check out this channel. Gave it a shot today, heard a remixed version of oden's oden song and decided to stay
