I feel like this is more against deep frying instead of the deep fryer itself
Thanks for watching.
Yah lol. Umm. I'ma go get a deep fryer now.
deep fryer does deep frying genius
@@realdjoffski7201 That's not what they meant.
I just bought a larger deep fat fryer after watching this.i can't wait till it arrives on Friday yum yum
Good for you! Thanks for sharing!
Myself, if I were to get a fryer, it be air. But I learned by watching vids they are very high maintenance to keep clean. So I am good on that. I don’t have to have a lot of fried to br happy. I am good with my Foreman with removable plates and waffle maker as far as making meats and have a toaster oven to bake stuff. But I don't bake meat in toaster convection oven as to not risk grease fire.
That sounds like you've got a solid kitchen setup already! Air fryers do have their maintenance quirks, but it sounds like you've found your cooking groove with other appliances. 👍🍳
Since I'm single, and rarely entertain in the home, I removed my entire cook stove, and used the area for a large work space: huge countertop, oversize micro-wave that I use the 2 speed fans for ventilation. I'm in an old four-plex that once was a hospital!! So I'm actually planning on an air or deep fryer as I grow Kennebec, the french fry potato of preference (In/N/Out uses K., not Russets like McD.) Japanese style, very small amounts of veg. are deep fried in tempura batter, so thin you should see the item inside. I rarely go out to eat (very expensive in my mtn. area) so all in moderation.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
I love my deep fat fryer, you can tell a mile away when something is air fridd it's nowhere near as tasty. Everything in moderation

That's true. Thanks for sharing!
Im 80 years and healthy i use my deep fryer once every 3 to 4 month's. No problems at all.
It's great to hear you're enjoying it in moderation! 👍 Keep on cooking!
thanks you just convinced me to get a deep fryer
the negative points you mentioned are valid but still not so bad
Good to know. Thanks for commenting!
Well I am going to get a deep fryer and I am excited to use 😊😊😊😊
Exciting choice! What's the first thing you plan to fry with it? 😊🍟
My brain scrambled! It misread it as Air Fryer. 😂😂😂😂😂
Haha! Easy mix-up, but we guess the message is the same for both: stay away from the fryers! 😄🍟
personally me having a deep fryer, i say that this video is very valid.
Like really who cares about your problems with deep fryers, like yes we know and we take he risks so there's absolute no point of this video

I’m shopping for a deep fryer right now
Haha thanks for the chuckle!
It can be used only to heat water.
That's a unique perspective! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on its versatility.😎
If your food is really greasy or oily after deep frying, you are not cooking at the right temperature ( generally speaking ). Also, you mentioned that deep fat frying adds cholesterol. What are you frying in, lard ? No cholesterol in peanut oil or corn oil, sorry. Actually, they are both recommended for frying as they have higher smoke points than some other oils, and the ratio of mono and poly-unsaturated fats to saturated ones is almost 3 to 1 If you just want to make the argument that a fryer is just one more expense and will take up space then go ahead, at least that is not arguable. Some of your other statements are just factually inaccurate. Please don't take my response as a personal attack as it is not, but qualifying some of your statements will make you sound more knowledgeable on this topic.
Thanks for sharing!
Got myself a deep fat fryer that uses lard after this video.
That's great to hear! Enjoy your cooking adventures with your new deep fat fryer. 🍳👨🍳
not worried about health +_+ (I eat very well. This would be for treats.)
Thanks for dropping by!
Can you use lard or goose fat
We won't recommend that. Thanks for your query!
if you want to die soon it is highly recommended! oh and deep fry your bacon too lmao
@@realdjoffski7201 depends on your caloric intake. grandpa would have pork chops (farm raised) for breakfast along with bacon, eggs, etc. but then work for hours outside,.......in minus fifty below.
Lard is higher in monounsaturated fats-the good kind. Vegetable oil, on the other hand, is high in polyunsaturated fats which is why they are liquid at room temps and also likely bad for you.
Lard is waaay better than oil, oil used to be a used for machine lubrication and not fit for human or animal consumption until Crisco ran a propaganda campaign to get people to eat their cheap oil products. It’s no coincidence that chronic disease is increasing alongside the rise in seed oil consumption. I encourage you to look at lard vs oil for cooking.
Seems to me they've bought fully into the all fried food is unhealthy thing and not only that, but the tone of it is like a school marm preaching down to the uneducated kids in a scolding tone... We're adults here.
