I truly think that Kenny’s amazing and positive personality was due in large part by his father and mother. Their attitude and love and belief in his abilities without giving him pity or over-protecting him gave him strength and purpose beyond what most young people exhibit today. What also helped tremendously was the stable and loving relationship between his parents. Kenny was lucky to have been born into his family and surrounded by such love and respect. People underestimate the importance of a healthy two-parent family unit in raising children. I do wonder if Kenny had a good relationship with his siblings. They are never mentioned in the documentary.

@@chrisbrown8640 Boy howdy, talk about going for the low hanging fruit there... C'mon man, that was a pretty cheap and obvious joke to make. At least if it would have been a little slier in the execution. Less obvious and more thought provoking, put in a way where it could have feasibly been seen as accidental or unintentional, it could have been appreciated for being clever. Maybe even by someone with the same condition and a good sense of humour. But a joke as simple and thoughtless more just comes off like elementary school bullying.

The parents are so warm and loving between themselves and toward Kenny. There is so much sadness in his father's eye when he speaks of Kenny's struggles, but when he smiles it brightens up his face. Kenny had a poor diet, which may have aggravated his kidney problem.

A good part of Kenny’s life is owed to his father who loves him and embraced the fact he was to be his guardian for life. Both are examples to be followed! I was sad to learn that Kenny has passed away at age 42 but, watching this documentary, and knowing his pain stages, I assume he wasn’t having the quality life he was used to. Rip Kenny! You had no children, but you left many of us your legacy of endurance, positivity, and approach to problems a normal life can bring us. Thanks to the father we all wish we had, who shed tears every time he thought of Kenny, not in a pity way but with the love any father should die for their children.
Sad to hear he passed. Wanted to tell him how lovely he was and from watching this was thinking how lucky his wife was to have him. He also was handsome as well as charming and one of life’s winners. Kenny seems like he was a wonderful man, he was so deserving of someone who truly loved him, I think the first wife did but they were just so young, but that second girl took off as soon as his money ran out, there was nothing keeping her from working. I’m happy he got to live out his final years with his parents, I know that was such a blessing for them to have him home.

I’ve been following Kenny for twenty years. Since I was a young child. I don’t have the same problem he had but I was born with a very rare heart defect. I wasn’t supposed to live at all. Every checkup. That was every three months they told me I didn’t have long left. In tenth grade I was told it had gotten very bad and I needed experimental surgery. I did have it. I was one of 64 who had it. I was the last person. Half of them died. And 15 others had sever complications. I lived through it. I joined the marines. Didn’t say a word. Don’t let the drs say you can’t do something. That’s what pushes me. It’s incredible Mr eEsterday pushed through with all he dealt with. It’s sickening he passed away. You are missed everyday Kenny. Love you brother. I’ll see ya when it’s my time too

People’s mindset and attitude is the real disability, Kenny lived his life to the max and he was and continues to be in inspiration to us all. His parents are awesome aswell
There is not one second in this video that we all cannot learn a lot from. The love of his parents, the determination of Kenny.... unbelievable courage... It should make us all think when we feel we are having a crappy day to rethink and realize how blessed we are. What a wonderful family to not have aborted Kenny and gave him every second of the life that he lived. Where's Warren Buffet and Bill Gates with all their money to not have provided more help and comfort for Kenny. Kenny is the one that deserves a monument in his honor... not the rich!
Or even Jerry Springer....that man could have included Kenny in his will because Kenny brought a lot of viewership to Springer's show, so Jerry could have compensated him because a little more money could have made Kenny's life so much easier..!!
"It should make us all think when we feel we are having a crappy day to rethink and realize how blessed we are." Us all? Because all us have a good life? How about looking beyond the box and stop making assumptions about other people and their lives?!?

I found this story of a very extraordinary gentleman. I've always complained about my own life which is poverty. But I'm mentally, spiritually & physically liberated now. I hope someone will write your story. Rest in peace Sir.
What a cool dude. Anyone would have been proud to be his friend. RIP Kenny. You lived a hard life.
