To set the date on an analog watch, you can try these steps:
Loosen the screw down crown
Wind the watch
Pull the crown out two clicks
Turn the hands until the date changes
Push the crown in one click
Turn the crown clockwise or counterclockwise until the date is correct
For most mechanical watches with a date function, you can set the date by pulling the crown out to its first position. You can also set the day of the week by turning the crown in the opposite direction.
If your watch doesn't have a quick set feature, you might need to advance the hands 24 hours to change the date.
