Wether you are red or blue...you have to give AMD credit to sticking it to Intel and providing such stiff competition that prices are dropping across the board of both companies!
Andrew Solis it's great isn't it? And it seems like Intel is already having to respond with the hyper threaded 2 core cpus. Competition is the mother of innovation and a more consumer oriented market. On a side not, I have an Intel CPU and AMD graphics card, so my computer is... purple?
Imagine if Intel have a great comeback next year, then the next AMD have its, and then again and again, can you imagine how much of a improvement we would be able to see in such a small time?
Tbh, I'd like to see AMD on the top for at least 2 more years, there are a lot of people who buy Intel just because they don't keep up with technology and don't know AMD or just know them because of FX
Guys!! Remember... i3 with 2 cores: slightly higher Fps BUT shit performance in general and causes more lag spikes/frame skipping in most games. Ryzen 3: Slightly less Fps BUT better performance in general and no lag spikes or frame slipping so gameplay is clean and enjoyable... and OVERCLOCKING!
Grammar Police he ain't wrong, i3 have common lag spike and do stutter sometime not to mention playing a min requirement quad core game need an injector just to play it, dual core need to be kill from the market heck even our smartphone has more core than that
SovietGrazz duel cores get higher frames but the having only 2 causes stuttering in AAA games.. it's science (more power per core but cpu must work harder as work load isn't spread out enough to avoid stuttering.) Remember benchmarks are just examples and in no way show real word performance
+RushDark Although I strongly agree, take in account smartphones were from a start more focused on non-system background services and multitasking than PC. My two cents.
AirsoftGamer they can't compete the pentium and get better performance unless its similar performance don't think they are willing to sell a cpu for like 50-70 dollars
why? you'd have to be truly insecure to be bothered by new releases like this. If people are fickle enough to go out and dump $1000+ on a new board, ram and CPU just to be in with fashionable with the shiny new thing then that's really sad.
Brawndo Well, there is a ton of hate directed at Intel Fanboy at the moment with Ryzen and all that stuff, and anyone he who says anything about Intel that isn't "sh!t company" seems to get beaten up online to extreme ends.
Nah Intel is still fine. They dominate the very top and very bottom in Gaming. The Pentium g4560 dominates the Sub 90€ Market And the I7 8700k Dominates the Top in gaming. Ryzen 3 Clears the floor with Intel in the 110-120€ Market (Including Mobo prices and Upgrading headroom considering AM4 will be supported till 2020) Ryzen 5 Provides the Best bang for your Buck And Ryzen 7 is a good idea for content creators and provides solid gaming performance. Ryzen is a good idea for Streaming on a single PC and solid gaming. But the I7 7700K still wipes the floor with Ryzen in terms of 4 Core gaming (alltho it does fall behind the R5 1600X in 6 Core gaming like 64 Player BF1) But top gaming? (In 2021 zen 3.0 is planned, which no longer runs on the AM4 socket. Then I can upgrade to a cheaper Zen2.0 Released in 2019/2020. At least that is the plan). But I can not denie that For pure performance (ignoring price) Intel is ahead. Which should honestly not surprise anyone, given the 5 months time difference between Ryzen 5 and the I7 8700K.
The intel i3 is actually better because the eyes cant see more than 2 cores. im in computer science so i know more than you. Im not joking im serious, my dad works at nitondo he knows this.
Hey, here's some info for you. AMD sold off all of their chip fabrication/manufacturing plants a while back. They don't even produce their own CPUs/GPUs.
At this point it's can't just as much as don't want to. Even if they decided to they would never live up to the expectation people would have for them.
I have considered myself an Intel fanboy since the Core 2 Duo days. I've never once considered AMD for my personal builds, but I think you'd be absolutely stupid to not go with Ryzen on a build in 2017. Finally, true competition from AMD is going to heavily hinder Intel's ability to rip off consumers the way they have been for years. It's pretty clear that Intel have no solid ideas on how to compete with Ryzen, and they're taking a long time to regain their footing. Hopefully AMD's fully unlocked architecture will force Intel to scrap the "k" series chips and allow over-clocking on all of their chips. Hopefully Ryzen in general forces Intel to completely rethink their product line. They've held a monopoly on the industry for too long, and it has done nothing but hinder progress on the consumer desktop platform.
legenDAIRYcow not really. Many of the current chips (especially the 5 and 7s- a ryzen 7 and i7 8700k are still comparable) are still more than comparable and still better in multitasking so even though they "hit back," they aren't dominating, so they're still suffering from ryzen- especially in the pro-sumer market, where the threadripper is the go-to monstrously powerful chip with unbeatable price to performance- you have to spend 1600$ to beat the 890$ threadripper 1950x- the 1000$ i9-7900 get demolished by it! I guess what I'm saying is Intel hasn't impressed me with this new batch of chips and you'd have to be silly not to buy an amd processor, losing on maybe 4% of fps, yet gaining all those extra cores and threads, making almsot all other multitasking better on the amd. Oh! And don't forget upgrade path. Intel loves fucking people over on that. Am4 should be good until 2020.
What about the 18 core i9 extreme? has that not impressed you especially when it can be over clocked to 4.0. Besides, the intel 8th gen chip units have better per core performance.
Me buying the ryzen 3 3200g in 2020. I’m building my first ever PC. I’m going for a budget build using a: -Ryzen 3 3200g -MSI B450m Pro-M2 Max motherboard -Kingston 480GB SSD -Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) -Thermaltake Smart 600w power supply -Pure wings 2 120mm fans -Radeon Rx 570 8GB graphics card -and a very cheap Rosewill Micro ATX mini tower case Very new to this so if you have any feedback let me know what you think or if you have any advice :)
it's December 2019. I'm finally upgrading my phenom 965 Black edition to a ryzen 3 1200 and it feels like the best thing ever, despite the fact that this cpu is still outdated :(
HearthJunkie and there's people who still remember that Intel convinced vendors to sell Intel builds exclusively and cost AMD market share that the government can only fine Intel for the damage done.
I just bought a Gigabyte ax a370 k5 board with the intent of mounting a 1600x on it. Then, suddenly, my finances take a massive hit. I didn't know what I was going to do... . Now, with the 1300x, there's the solution without me having to put off my build for the better part of a year. Thanks again AMD, without even knowing it- you again had my back!
Ryzen 3 rulz. I combined it with 16GB of RAM (only recently added 2x4 because the prices finally dropped), SSD and 1050Ti - a very nice budget computer.
it's because of mining, just like GPUs, its a cheap and good CPU so people get it to mine on a separate machine. If mining hasn't gotten popular in your area then prices wouldn't spike so much.
Hey Linus and the team, I'm going to be honest, I have little no experience building computers or understanding much of each component actually does, but your videos allow me to actually learn and comprehend more than I ever would have. Thank you for making me laugh and learn something new almost every day I appreciate the work and planning you put into these videoes and truly enjoy watching them. Keep it up!
One thing I find impressive with the Ryzen series is they all overclock to around 4GHz whether they're a 4 core or an 8 core 16 thread. If you look at Intel the i5 and i7 can hit 5 to 5.2GHz while their 6 core, 8 core and 10 core variants can only do 4.5 to 4.6GHz. I'm guessing this is because of AMD's Infinity Fabric so the Thread Ripper Cpu's should be able to hit 4GHz or even higher no problem so AMD won't see clock decreases with more cores.
I'm guessing because its also like a 1st generation cpu line, they'll probably do optimizations for their 2nd gen cpu's. Also i must say it wasn't too long ago AMD had higher clocks and Intel had the lower clock speeds with better performance, its like the tables reversed now.
Sorry to be that guy, but Randy Johnson is known for his fastball. He does not have a curve in his arsenal. Fastball, sinker, slider. This is important information.
AdamB5000 as a baseball fan I cringed when he said that. Whoever wrote this one should pay a bit more attention to detail if you are gonna make a sports metaphor. Next I'm going to hear about how Vega is a Steph Curry slam dunk for AMD.
How does AMD manage to compete with both NVIDIA and INTEL with their RX series and Ryzen and Threadripper respectively That too some stuff and tough competition Gotta give AMD some credit for their dedication
Finally, someone who sees the big picture. AMD competes with giants in both the CPU and GPU industry. Not only has AMD managed to survive this long, they've been competitive as well. Red is doing a fine job keeping both blue and green in check.
Linus is right about background processes hurting games performance. I had an i3 for 2 years. And after a few months of programs being installed I started getting worse frames in games. even bottlenecking in overwatch. Now that I have an i7 it's much better.
Yeah. The G4560 was fucking legendary. It was one of intels only true "Bang for your buck CPU". Now they are killing it for some reason. Its pathetic that they killed it. Atleast theres the G4400 I guess.
It's 2020 and this past November I upgraded from an FX 8350 to a Ryzen 3 3200G for $99. I'm running it with an RTX 2070 Super Mini and I can run Shadow of the Tomb Raider in 4k maxed out at 60fps locked. This is still a great little chip. It runs cool, it sips electricity, and it runs everything I need to do just fine, outpacing my FX chip in every way with half the threads and half the TDP.
If you're building a gaming rig at any serious level, you go I7. I5 only if you honestly just can't afford an I7. BUT, at least you can always upgrade later. Socket 2066 is new and you know very well some seriously bad ass chips are coming in the near future. AMD won't keep up, they never do.
because the Pentiums are worse than the i3s, but not worlds apart. Maybe other channels/articles provide comparisons with that. Also, different pricerange
That CPU is completely out of the budget range to compete with Ryzen 3. It shouldn't even be considered an i3, as i3s are a more budget oriented CPU line. That processor requires quite a bit of money to be spent on cooling, a Z series motherboard. You're better off buying something like an i5 7600.
LOL I get that it's a quad core and wins in SYNTHETIC and CPU bound benchmarks but ultimately falls in gaming EVEN WITH OC to a 2C/4T CPU is kinda embarassing. Don't get me wrong I'm not a fanboy, but I was expecting R3 to dominate i3 but it seems not.
Are game companies still coding their products for Intel? AMD may be fighting a losing battle if that's the case. I could care less about scams, synthetic benchmarks, unscrupulous business practices, etc. etc... I want the processor that plays games best. They only other thing I do is video encoding (my movies I bought and ripped for media server) and that can be done unattended while I do something else.
like I said: I don't know if that is the case anymore, I just know that it was a problem early on. but i'm going to quote another comment @Sirpryze said "i3 with 2 cores: slightly higher Fps BUT shit performance in general and causes more lag spikes/frame skipping in most games. Ryzen 3: Slightly less Fps BUT better performance in general and no lag spikes or frame slipping" and that makes sense to me. disc: I don't prefer one brand over anyother, but I like that AMD is giving intel competition to prove i'm not an AMD fanboy; rig : intel i7 4790k, gtx 960
My future pc is: Ryzen 3 1200 Gt 1030 16gb ram 2400 MSI B350M BAZOOKA Corsair VS 550W 80+ Power Supply 1tb 7200 internal hard drive *how much fps for Minecraft lowest settings 12 chunks? I play on hypixel* Note: with badlion client
ngonidzashe dzindimu Thoretically yes, but in basically every game a 5GHz 7350K will beat a Ryzen 3 at 4GHz despite it lacking two threads. Cores isn't everything.
I need help as I'm struggling with a build right. Wrecking my brain over and over because I'm still new at this. So I have a budget around $750 for a Gaming RIG. And the specs that I could ROUGHLY think of are as listed: -Ryzen 1300X -GTX 1060/1050 TI (haven't decided) -SSD 240GB -RAM 8GB/16gb (haven't decided) -Motherboard? (haven't decided) -Power Supply? (haven't decided)
The i5 will beat out Ryzen 3. Despite having the same number of cores, the IPC on that Kaby Lake CPU beats out Ryzen by quite a bit, but there's a reason for that huge price gap.
I'm literally so happy. I finally have motivation, and the opportunity to do a new amd build. My personal experience with Intel has been so-so, same with amd. My first computer had a toaster cpu (intel p4 3,0ghz, socket 478, 2 core hyper threading) (It always overheated, even with an aftermarket cooler). 2nd one had an amd athlon 64 3500+ (2,2ghz single core cpu) (It was so powerless i just can't.) 3rd one had an amd athlon x2 5200 cpu (2 core) (first mobo thought the cpu was ~30ghz. 2nd one made things more bare-able) 4th (and current one) has an intel core i5 4570 (3,4ghz 4 core w/ 6mb cache)
"Unlike Intel, whose CPUs probably have a ton of headroom in them, but are locked for overclocking unless you shell out for a K series..." (puts lock image on listing of i3-7350K)
And he said what a K series was 3 seconds after it. Why did so many people call this minimal mistake out? Is it everyone trying to defend Intel as fast as they can?
Good thing about ryzen 3 and ryzen in general is that early 2019 we get another zen lineup with 7nm process and they use the same motherboard! Meaning that you only need to buy new cpu. That saves money and time. So those who cant afford expensive cpu now, it is smart thing to buy ryzen 3 and then later buy 6/8 core zen+, because you dont have to buy any other parts as you already have them.
APUs aren't simple things. It's not like you can fit a video card into any CPU. Raven Ridge is AMD's next APU generation; it will use Vega graphics with Zen processor. Current information is that it will be nothing special at all. APUs are very limited in their gaming performance. For the forseeable future anyone that does any significant amount of gaming would want to use a dedicated GPU. They're also more modular, so easy to replace, such as buying used cheapo GPUs every couple of years which would generally far outperform APUs capabilities. Intel has integrated graphics processors that seem to be doing even better than AMD's APUs (although as far as I know it's at a higher cost as well).
Sean Roods why are you telling me this? I didn't say anything about the price and or how good it was. All I was saying is that people can chill over the lock. Everyone freaked out like linus was trying to pick sides, though the Ryzen side is a good side ATM
Yes sure....R3 2300X is more like a R3 1300X, R3 1200 with OC or APU 2200G/3200G...look this with a GTX 1080. images.anandtech.com/graphs/graph13945/106405.png images.anandtech.com/graphs/graph13945/106413.png images.anandtech.com/graphs/graph13945/106421.png images.anandtech.com/graphs/graph13945/106349.png * Obviously a GTX 1080 is not a GPU for an Ryzen 3 1200 / 1300X / 2300X / 2200G / 3200G, but surely that is not the GPU in which you are thinking or I am wrong ?.
Lol just bought Ryzen 3 1200 and overclocked it to 4ghz on stock cooler with gtx 1060 6gb with 8gb 3000mhz ddr4 ballistix ram, high settings 60fps in 99% game...
hello bhoop ryzen 3 is set to rule the low end market, ryzen 5/7 are giving serious competition in mid/somewhat high end market and better in almost all non-gaming tasks, and the threadripper looks to absolutely demolish the x299 series. I'm not gonna use money to buy a ryzen since in content with my current i7, but AMD is giving serious competition.

ROFL! Seriously?

Also the chip will no longer be under warranty if you do overclock.

Tomat1000 it costs 79.99$ on newegg
wth they cray cray
It's been fluctuating for a while.
well, here you can still buy it for 62€, so i guess no?
it's because of mining, just like GPUs, its a cheap and good CPU so people get it to mine on a separate machine. If mining hasn't gotten popular in your area then prices wouldn't spike so much.
Hey Linus and the team,
I'm going to be honest, I have little no experience building computers or understanding much of each component actually does, but your videos allow me to actually learn and comprehend more than I ever would have.
Also i must say it wasn't too long ago AMD had higher clocks and Intel had the lower clock speeds with better performance, its like the tables reversed now.
its because of Infinity fabric approach. Whole Ryzen lineup uses the same dies
With some water cooling threadripper does hit 4GHz, even 4.1 or 4.2
Sorry to be that guy, but Randy Johnson is known for his fastball. He does not have a curve in his arsenal. Fastball, sinker, slider.

WHERE IS RYZEN 9
Christyn Pienaar Threadripper is Ryzen 9
but i haven't heard official word on that yet
but i still believe you
Threadripper? Hear of it. I9 is a terrible name for intels stuff because it makes you think it runs on the same platform as the i7, i5, and i3.
How does AMD manage to compete with both NVIDIA and INTEL with their RX series and Ryzen and Threadripper respectively
That too some stuff and tough competition
Gotta give AMD some credit for their dedication
Finally, someone who sees the big picture. AMD competes with giants in both the CPU and GPU industry. Not only has AMD managed to survive this long, they've been competitive as well. Red is doing a fine job keeping both blue and green in check.
morgueblack yeah and with only 9,000 employees there doing pretty good
Linus is right about background processes hurting games performance. I had an i3 for 2 years. And after a few months of programs being installed I started getting worse frames in games. even bottlenecking in overwatch. Now that I have an i7 it's much better.
i7's run background processes like it's fun
BuildMineSurvive buying i7 is no joke xD now I feel ripped off on buying one 😭

The only way Intel to compete from Ryzen 3 in price to performance is G4560/G4600. Sadly Intel tried to kill it because they were hesitant to kill i3
Yeah. The G4560 was fucking legendary. It was one of intels only true "Bang for your buck CPU". Now they are killing it for some reason. Its pathetic that they killed it. Atleast theres the G4400 I guess.
Wait.. What? Killing the G4560? For real?
wasnt this a rumor? I read somewhere that they were gutting it but when I googled info about it i couldn't find anything about it
It's 2020 and this past November I upgraded from an FX 8350 to a Ryzen 3 3200G for $99. I'm running it with an RTX 2070 Super Mini and I can run Shadow of the Tomb Raider in 4k maxed out at 60fps locked. This is still a great little chip. It runs cool, it sips electricity, and it runs everything I need to do just fine, outpacing my FX chip in every way with half the threads and half the TDP.
wow waited for the ryzen 3 reviews all day
So pretty much the only viable Intel CPU's are used and the Kaby Lake Pentium.
Bobby Joe 90 I would say the i7 and the pentium
Bobby Joe 90 the 7700k G4560 and used intel chips are the only one I would suggest people buying
If you're building a gaming rig at any serious level, you go I7. I5 only if you honestly just can't afford an I7. BUT, at least you can always upgrade later. Socket 2066 is new and you know very well some seriously bad ass chips are coming in the near future. AMD won't keep up, they never do.

Well, back to bribing OEMS for intel I guess
Curious lack of Pentiums for comparison is curious.
They are comparing on the same price point.
because the Pentiums are worse than the i3s, but not worlds apart. Maybe other channels/articles provide comparisons with that. Also, different pricerange
Cinema sins much?
g4560 is worse than i3 7100..also they are hard to get now with intel throttling their manufacture
proesterchen Because the g4560 is still the price to performance king. It's 90% of the i3 at 50% of the price.
"locked" on a 7350K @ 4:50
That CPU is completely out of the budget range to compete with Ryzen 3. It shouldn't even be considered an i3, as i3s are a more budget oriented CPU line. That processor requires quite a bit of money to be spent on cooling, a Z series motherboard. You're better off buying something like an i5 7600.
Because you need z270/170 mobo to overclock that i3 k ( kinda expensive)
While ryzen can overclock 3/5/7 in b350 mobo
it wasn't the point, just listen to what he says and then look at the image ^^ I don't disagree with any of you
It's locked because it's sold out, so you can't get and overclock it.
Definitely what that meant, not just an editor's mistake! Totally!
Greg (ScienceStudio) uses his 7350k as a box cutter
May 2020: they did it again boys! :')
Ryzen 3 huffed and puffed and blew Intel scams down.
LOL I get that it's a quad core and wins in SYNTHETIC and CPU bound benchmarks but ultimately falls in gaming EVEN WITH OC to a 2C/4T CPU is kinda embarassing. Don't get me wrong I'm not a fanboy, but I was expecting R3 to dominate i3 but it seems not.
maybe games arent optimized for ryzen? I know that it was a problem a couple of months ago but idk about now.
Are game companies still coding their products for Intel? AMD may be fighting a losing battle if that's the case. I could care less about scams, synthetic benchmarks, unscrupulous business practices, etc. etc... I want the processor that plays games best. They only other thing I do is video encoding (my movies I bought and ripped for media server) and that can be done unattended while I do something else.
like I said: I don't know if that is the case anymore, I just know that it was a problem early on. but i'm going to quote another comment
@Sirpryze said
"i3 with 2 cores: slightly higher Fps BUT shit performance in general and causes more lag spikes/frame skipping in most games.
Ryzen 3: Slightly less Fps BUT better performance in general and no lag spikes or frame slipping"
and that makes sense to me.
disc: I don't prefer one brand over anyother, but I like that AMD is giving intel competition

4:50 why is the i3-7350KKKKKKKK locked?
Didn’t know that.
Thanks, Linus.
let's be real, intel has only 7700k rest is ryzen
Armand B. Kinda true. But the 7350K has come down to the price of a 1300X in Sweden so AMD will be having a rough time here.
1300x has 4 true cores hence the 7350k wouldnt be a smart move
ngonidzashe dzindimu Thoretically yes, but in basically every game a 5GHz 7350K will beat a Ryzen 3 at 4GHz despite it lacking two threads. Cores isn't everything.
Saitham 7350k has a more expensive motherboard and you need a cooler. 1300x comes with a decent stock cooler and cheaper motherboard
Clocks aren't everything.
Neither is efficiency.
It comes down to a combination of the three.
The AMD Ryzen 3 1300X is a great processor, trust me I have one, and my FPS does not drop below 40 in any game.
Jordan Rage its good for me , R3 1300x + 1050ti ? Budget pc build

-Motherboard? (haven't decided)

Amazing platform for a good price, RIP i3
6:00 That *intel* has come to rely on
ChuniaC ?
it can be interesting to make a fight with a ryzen 3 and a I5 7400
Bastien KAPPLER i5 will win, but ryzen 3 was made to compete with i3s.
The i5 will beat out Ryzen 3. Despite having the same number of cores, the IPC on that Kaby Lake CPU beats out Ryzen by quite a bit, but there's a reason for that huge price gap.
Bastien KAPPLER 7400 beats R3
1400 loses too by 1.5% at stock
Overclocked, 1400 beats 7400
Aldin Aldin But for gamers your chart suddenly turns around.
Dudes, PCMark, OC a R3 and there it is, the i5 destroyer.
2nd one had an amd athlon 64 3500+ (2,2ghz single core cpu) (It was so powerless i just can't.)
3rd one had an amd athlon x2 5200 cpu (2 core) (first mobo thought the cpu was ~30ghz. 2nd one made things more bare-able)
4th (and current one) has an intel core i5 4570 (3,4ghz 4 core w/ 6mb cache)
What's the best PC doctor?
AYYY M.D.

Why did you place a lock on the 7350k at 4:49?
MinecraftChrizz what person can afford a Z series mobo but not a i5?
same people who will buy R3 but not spend the money for the R5 which is a better chip than the R3??
Hey, I have a strict budget a- Kidding I just sacrificed overclocking to get the lowest tier of Ryzen 5.
"Unlike Intel, whose CPUs probably have a ton of headroom in them, but are locked for overclocking unless you shell out for a K series..."
(puts lock image on listing of i3-7350K)
Coz it makes no sense(if you can buy Z mobo , you have enough money for i5)
And he said what a K series was 3 seconds after it. Why did so many people call this minimal mistake out? Is it everyone trying to defend Intel as fast as they can?
Because it's out of stock I guess
Good thing about ryzen 3 and ryzen in general is that early 2019 we get another zen lineup with 7nm process and they use the same motherboard! Meaning that you only need to buy new cpu. That saves money and time. So those who cant afford expensive cpu now, it is smart thing to buy ryzen 3 and then later buy 6/8 core zen+, because you dont have to buy any other parts as you already have them.
I rock a fx 6300

im thinking about buying a pc but im confused with what to buy amd 3 1300x or i3 7100 which is better? for mid gaming and average basic uses
So what's better ryzen 3 or Pentium g4560?
Cillian Corr from a price to performance standpoint for ~$60 the g4560 wins imo... That goes to say you'd be only doing gaming though.
But good luck finding a g4560. . .
yah there is a shortage of g4560s so if you are looking to grab one thats $90, dont. might as well get a ryzen 3 and spend the extra 10 to 20 bucks.
I'll just wait till they re stock!
It's compatible with the 1050ti yes? The ryzen?
I just wish they had Ryzen APU's. It's much cheaper to build an office computer with a Pentium or i3 because of the integrated graphics.
Zen APUs are coming out next year...
They do now
Ryzen 3 2200G & Ryzen 5 2400G are out now.
Turn it into an APU and slaughter all the i3s and Pentiums in non-gaming retail AMD, make dat money.
AMD is doing nice work. This is the performance jump they needed to compete and jumpstart the progression of CPU's in our day and age.
they lock the i3-7350k? at 4:50 lol? thats not true
EpicFallDown He said what the K series was 3 seconds after that, youll be fine.
Man Before Hand "You'll be fine." LOL! Imagine if he hadn't explain what the K series is.
Sean Roods why are you telling me this? I didn't say anything about the price and or how good it was. All I was saying is that people can chill over the lock. Everyone freaked out like linus was trying to pick sides, though the Ryzen side is a good side ATM
Go AMD!
Intel is still better for gaming, okay im glad.
Anyway I'll have to get a Ryzen in a year or 2. DAMN YOU AMD
My last Intel processor was a Pentium 4 @ 3 GHz.
My current one is an A10-7700K.
Gonna hang on to it for a while.
Can someone tell me if the amd ryzen 3 2300x is good?
(For a begginers gaming pc)
Yes sure....R3 2300X is more like a R3 1300X, R3 1200 with OC or APU 2200G/3200G...look this with a GTX 1080.
