As Neil McKay remarked to me at ATP end of an era festival regarding the"Fade Out " tour from where these awesome Peel sesh tracks are gleaned.." Yeah man, we were using stadium amps in these smaller venues cos we wanted to annihilate everything with noise"..No hearing for 5 days after seeing them at Leeds Poly..probably one of the best gigs i have ever been privileged to attend..
I have this on cassette from it’s original broadcast - one of these was the heaviest thing I’d heard in my 24 years . Bought the vinyl a year later and was gutted at the tinny production compared to the job that the bbc had done for Peeley . I believe they changed direction to a more dance sound but I may be wrong. Big thanks Loop and Uploader from new forest pixies
Used to follow them around the UK - absolutely amazing live and the albums were awesome too - still music to get stoned to!!!
Saw them a few times, loud and amazing, the floor and walls were quacking
I had the luck to see them once playing in Belgium. I never forgot them !

the ultimate band for me...……….face melting live!
Saw them at the Town and Country club in Kentish Town
Absolutely loved this band great live thanks for this. 💜
three of their best tracks put to a session..........love this band!
This reeks of dry ice, snakebite and black, student union and cigarettes. Love it
i think that was our problem...odds....stacked
They were like a psychedelic Joy Division. Saw them in Hull in the early days. Fantastic gig, loud and powerful, but never heavy metal.
GREAT!!!...still love it!...
bloody awesome.
Proper good live
For the first time I hear them. But definetly this is not gonna be the last time.
ageless
That last track reminds me of the Stooges' first album.
It's supposed to. Ffs, you're always thinking homage is thievery :/
lots of wah!
Back in the day, they were always classed as a Spacemen 3 cover band. Spacemen 3 were on another level. Yet, these were still good.
Sounds like Spacemen 3 a bit, never heard them before. I like!
