SO wild to hear the back catalog careening around wildly in the Peel context... a wild mix of the old being updated, the proven being milked and the new being struggled with... super interesting
what a FANTASTIC TRACK listing, 1-4 esp, and of New order - 2-4 - among my top favs all 3 are, and true faith will always be my fav song all time.
oh how could you not include Atmosphere? that's an absolute CLASSIC!
Of course, love the originals and Ian is so iconic with his voice and intonations, but this Peel Session which I was not aware of, have cool versions of Isolation and True Faith, and really like this version of Atmosphere. The music in Atmosphere is taken seriously and the spirit is there, rightfully. Comforting for all it's worth.

Isolation may arguably be the song in which Ian most laid his soul bare, but this is the best version of it.

Wow. Might be the best version I've heard of True Faith
I don't think Hooky even mentions this session in his N/O book.
I checked, it is listed in it as an album "new order plays radio 1", but nothing about the 1998 recording or the more upbeat versions
