I have found and saved the rarest Mazda FC RX7 ever made! Now this car is rare. Really rare! Let me break this down really quick...
Ever heard of the rare 100 GTUs rx7s? Only 40 have ever been claimed and only 7 are confirmed at the time of this posting! Here are the rarest rx7 FC3S models:
1500 10AE Turbo models
1400 infini
1000 winning limited
150 final edition convertible
100 GTUs...
out of that 100:
83 red on black
10 black on black
7 white on blue
There was only 100 GTUs models created between 1989 and 1991.
If you own one of these rare models sign your car up to the registry list here on any of the rotary forums!
god I really need to see the Civic/Evo.. can't wait!
Hey Gears and Gasoline, Thank You For Giving Us Such a Spectacular Series. I love your road trip series and I can't wait for the next One. My favorite part of this episode was when Tall Ben finally sat and drove the Tesla, He must have felt so relaxed. Thank You Guys for creating extraordinary content. :)
Can we just take a moment to appreciate what an amazing job the camera man did. It looks as if it’s an actual big budget tv show like top gear was.
Especially during the salt flats, he had to fly the drone, record the launches and some rolling shots. Incredible.
I thought this is a high budget production video
I have been treating these episodes like a downright event, if you have the ability to watch this at full resolution on a high quality display, please do. The color work, cinematography, and direction in this is art. Hats off to these guys.
After seeing what happened to TV when Covid hit people really need to appreciate creators like Gears and Gasoline. Their productions value hits way above their weight class.
Oh yeah there video work and editing has always been my favorite part of their channel
I'm not sure whether the camera quality is so good or the editor have done a terrific job but G&G always aesthetically pleasing
I think it's all of them working in harmony
Yes
It's a mixture of both.
Not camera quality, but rather the cameraman quality. It takes a lot of skill to shoot and color grade video like that
@@_silverword ikr it's television level of cinematography. even better.
The funniest part of this entire trip was watching Ben go from wearing a full race helmet, to a maskless helmet, and then eventually to a bicycle helmet; never once mentioning it lmaooo
It's better than a bare head, considering he's in a caged car. 😅
That was the best episode. Love the moment that Ben sat in the Tesla, that "ahh" moment was gold
literally the most pampered my butt felt in two weeks
Gears and Gasoline LOL
Ludicrous mode on tesla
Glad I wasn't the only one who appreciated this moment!
@@GearsandGasoline #redemptionatlast
Ben Lin's face during the drag race meant business.
After Ben wouldn't do a 30 roll I wanted to win pretty bad.
@@GearsandGasoline haha lmao
Model S only lost because it's an older one, but still great race 😊
@@harissabovic3977 and the Evo only barely beat it because it's a 12 year old, low octane Evo. You sound dumb. EV fans are worse than vegans.
@@kooshkangaroo "EV fans are worse than vegans." sounds pretty dumb too to be honest... ;-P
The two owners are just really wholesome dudes
"It's not hot its like 70 degrees!"

welp hahahaha
Sweating alot*
70c is just above the maximum bearable water temperature for a shower. it hurts and you never get "used" to it. 66c is the max
*dying profusely*
Here from Sonora Mexico, 45c is the maximum I have ever experience and it's not healthy, you can literally die if you faint on the street.
15:08 Leave it to Benny boy to commit to a bit by laying on burning asphalt. Dedicated to his craft
"Sun's on the way down... Am I on my way down? We all gotta set at some point." I will keep this in mind for the rest of my life.
Ben: this trip has made me want a tesla
Also ben: buys an rx7
Good for him
Roadtrip with the rx7 vs a geo metro
And swaps a K20 Into it
You can want a Tesla, but you neeeed a RX-7
Rotary's are cool but absolute as f for anyone who says he should of kept it like unreliability expensive to build with a small amount of people who can build them proper and shit meanwhile k20 good mpg and good HP relible and cheap
Holy shit its Rich's tesla . I did not know that lmao
It's already revealed in the first episode 🤦🏻♂️
Ya i didnt know to lol
I knew it looked familiar
Didn’t Rich’s car have supercharging disabled?
@@talhajaffar He found a way to enable it by fucking with the system
21:25 “I know it’s an eight year old tesla but come on...” meanwhile the 12y/o evo gapping Tesla
Lets take a moment and thank camera man for excellent footage
7:14 Casey : I'm terrified of dying. *nervous laughters*
I don't know why but that kinda got me really thinking about life.

Something about a beach sunset as amazing as that always makes the mind wander I think...
@@ZachariaZuehlke yea. The sound of the waves, the breeze, the feeling of the sand beneath your feet, it really makes the mind to wander.
“I think I have to hand it to the evo” after he lost all of the races 😂
I like how Lin's helmet has less helmet in it in every episode. First it was a full racing helmet and now it's just a bicycle helmet.
" A SAFE AND LEGAL SPEED"
That made me laugh more than it should've.
Also Delores rocks.
reminds me of the top gear race to Mexico withe Jeremy's LFA
100 is a safe speed
Great series. Kudos to Rich and Bartek - without them this series would be missing two incredible vehicles. The 3 sugar cone chasers after the bumper lick was well deserved.
I hope there will be a series of fuel economy challenges, this channel reminds me of the old top gear.
True...
That's a good idea I hope they do that.
I loved how Jeremy Clarkson's V12 Jaguar won the fuel economy challenge. 😂😂
Alex Collado look at Car Throttle just got 30+ US MPG in an SN95 Mustang GT. My 1988 Honda Accord is rated at 24mpg combined and I regularly get 27 when I’m trying. It’s not too difficult to get good fuel economy out of a car if you really try too.
Stop saying they are the US spec “Top Gear” .
They are making it’s own history.
Glad I’m one of the witness.
Totally agree. They are doing their own thing in their own style. And I love it.
This channel speaks volumes to how far independent content creators have come. Well directed, well written, well edited, good taste in music. I've binge watched all of their road trips and I don't even miss The Grand Tour trio anymore.
It’s amazing how far EVs have come in just 8 years, that P85 feels absolutely archaic compared to a new LR Raven. The difference in just range and 0-60 times are shocking: 265 vs 412 miles, 0-60 in 4.2 vs 3.1s. The annoyance of having to charge so often probably wouldn’t be as bad on a 2021 Model S as on that P85 as 412 miles of range is like 6 hours of driving: the limit for most people before having to stop for at least a pee break.
This is what I was thinking the whole time. I got a Model S Long Range Plus a few months ago. 402 miles EPA, which should be possible if I don’t exceed 60 MPH on the highway. At normal highway speeds (here in Texas, 70-75 MPH speed limit) it’s more like 340 miles, which is still fantastic. I definitely feel a need to stop more often than the car does, but the other side of that coin is that there are not charging stations everywhere. It requires some planning ahead, especially if I am not sticking to the interstates.
Pluses: Unlimited free Supercharging. Camping with RV hookup and bed in back. Advanced Autopilot. Very nice turn-by-turn nav. Very comfy seats.
I want to put on stickier tires. Range will suffer a little, but I can live with that.
i drove 14 hours straight 2 years ago twice within a week. 1350km per trip. that's... i dunno, 900 miles probably.
two fuel stops per trip but i never left my car and each stop took about 3 minutes.
i was fine on the way there, but on the way back i got seriously sick about 3 hours from home. i mean, it started with very slight symptoms, but they got worse with every minute. when i got to my city i was dizzy, nauseous and my sight was fading to black. i arrived home and the first thing i did was puke (i made it to the toilet just in time). my passenger had been hella sick two days before and obviously he was still a virus hazard. should have postponed the trip for a couple more days. I thought "here we go, now I'M going to be bed-ridden for four days. fuck"!. thankfully i made a full recovery overnight.
Lets all just take a moment to thank absolutely everyone involved in this amazing series, from Bartek and Rich to the editing team, this was an absoloute joy to watch from start to finish.
Thank you
Tall(er) Ben's "tan lines" are killing me 😂
Its like a tape line after painting a car.
I used to be on swim team during the summer and my tan lines were crazy as well
I love how Ben went from a full racing helmet, to a motorcycle helmet with out a face shield, to a bicycle helmet lmaooo
That cut to Ben half-naked was one of the funniest things I've seen this week
would have been funnier if it hasn't been done like 50 times on top gear
Thumbs up for Ben Lin for choosing an Evo race car for the long road trip, it is really no joke riding in a car like that for days, another great episode G&G!
This definitely fills the hole left by the lack of Saturday morning cartoons!
I love the B is For Build music when you guys hit Oregon, very nice subtle shout-out.
Next trip Tesla P100D vs a Supercar: lambo, ferrari, porshe ect. : )
Lambo, Ferrari, Porsche*
Tesla will be great but i don't think advance auto parts gonna pay that massive gas mileage
Ehh, Better to use two different cars like they usually do
Did you mean how many time you can fix your supercar?lol
No
Bro when Ben said “I’m terrified of dying” I felt that
i think you meant casey bro, either way the fear of dying remains the same hahaha.
Yes, Casey said that and I said "Good you're not stupid then".. Great guys and amazing video quality of course. Hats off to them all!
Im convinced that when ben loses he just screams POWER CUT NOOOO 😂😂
E as in ... Eclair... 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Every time I watch these road trip series that you guys do, it makes me wish I was living in US. You guys have a beautiful country, and it's huge that there will always be some new interesting places to see each time you guys go on a road trip.
Anyway, as always, very amazing production quality. Already looking forward to the next trip.

30:41 When you're out with your friends but your mom says you have to come home
This was a seriously epic road trip guys, with amazing views and great production quality! The next one has got to be somewhere crazy like through Mexico to the Darien Gap or maybe Europe!
They've been to Canada, now it's time for Mexico/Central America. That would be actually a pretty cool road trip too. Europe would also be interesting
Thanks for doing this, your roadtrips and how it's documented is seriously next level. Haven't looked forward to videos as much as I have these.
I am glad this episode started in Oregon and the Oregon coast. I haven’t been to Oregon in years and I miss going there. It didn’t matter whether it was Summer, Fall, Spring, or Winter. Oregon is a beautiful state. America as well is such a beautiful country and I hope more people get out and explore her wonders.
Thank you gentlemen. Seriously from the bottom and top of my heart ❤️. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
Today’s word of the day: “POWER CUT!”
you must be real good at maths
Road trip a rotary and a diesel! That should be interesting! 😁
Not sure Id want to take a rotary out of sight of a shop that could work on one.
They’ll need to rebuilt the rotary 3-4 times in that trip
@@alexknapp5409 haha yup. Their equivalent to a tesla charging station will be shops that work on rotaries.
Yes this would be really cool
Why diesel? Those are easily as good as petrol cars. Half of Europe owns diesels and drives them without problem. It's not even a challenge. 2 stroke car would be more challenging than diesel one.
please do more of these road trip guys, you two are awesome, the camera dude is awesome, the quality of the videos and shots are awesome, EVERYTHING is awesome. love this channel. These road trips are so fun and satisfying to watch
you can just see the amount of work each episode takes to make, so high quality its almost unbelievable.
Ben before the race: "This is what [Teslas] were made for"
Ben after he loses: "The Tesla just wasn't meant for it"
only as had the trash model S that got battery heat issues if was model 3 I bet no issue at all
This was your best segment yet. Absolutely loved this road trip.
100% agree
You had him?? You never had him. "You never had your car!"
This has been the best series I’ve watched on UA-cam in a long time. I love it.
It's funny knowing all the roads to and from the coast and southern Oregon, because these guys are teleporting around with their scenic shots, they say they are on the highway to Portland but it cuts to a clip of them driving east away from it. Love it
I fell in love with your country after watching your road trips!
Man, would love to meet you guys. These road trips are awesome.
Awesome show guys! Y’all really outdid yourselves on this one. The quality, the editing, and the fun make your road trips so exciting to watch... and I find myself going back and re-watching them again & again. Next up I would love to see a road trip in your newly re-built cars, the Civic and Evo 9. Have you thought about a Mexico road trip 🤔
This is the highlight of 2020! Thanks guys can't wait for the next trip!
Missed the opportunity to say e as in evo 😂😂
Video, editing and presentation is awesome!
That was an amazing series! Loved every second of it. I have been wanting a Tesla since they started coming out but, they're a little out of my reach still. I thought that was Dolores at first but, assumed it wasn't and I was so pumped to see Rich on here. Love that dude. Keep up the great vids, guys!
I live for these videos man. You guys do such a fantastic job with filming, production, everything.

Love Evoooooooooooooo....really keen on the trip ....time will come that oil will be out soo I can't dismiss the Tesla😀
Looking forward to the next roadtrip series. These have made me wanting weekends so bad. Thanks! As always, top notch editing. Drone shots are immaculate. Camera work is awesome. This feels like those Top Gear special series.
Thank you for this series!!! love watching all of your videos :)
This is how im starting my day ☺
Watching from Philippines
Stay safe guys godbless
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I watched all 3 episodes from the first to last second. I have done the same road trips from the east coast to the west coast several times and I completely agree. It is very interesting, a lot of great views, a log of interesting things to see. Every road trip I used different cars and in my opinion, the best vehicle for such a trip is a minivan. It's large, roomy, comfortable, and also has good gas mileage comparing to big SUV/trucks.
I really love all your road trip videos . They are masterpieces, the music, views . Thank you 😊😊😘❤️
Y'all should do your next road trip across europe!
Lin: How close are we to home 😭😤
It's just around the corner 🤏we are this close to home (on the world map)
Great series, guys! I almost didn't watch this 3rd episode but I'm so glad I did 'cause it was the best! Much love, car bro's.
I love these episodes (love the channel) and I'm greatful that we can watch these for free. The first series is still my favorite due to its simplicity.
Still, loved this one. Comparing two 'extremes' in the car scene. Well done.
Evo owner seems like a great dude
do you guys know how rich's tesla is supercharging? because i remembered he told us his tesla cannot supercharge anymore
Wondering the same thing.
This was filmed before that?
Who said?
You are right he did say it can’t supercharge anymore.
This was probably filmed way before that, in fact I almost wouldn't be surprised if all the free supercharging they were doing in these videos put up a red flag on Tesla's end and they disabled it because of that 😂
Always sad to see these road trips videos come to an end but amazing job as always. Love rewatching them all. So entertaining!
Well done, gents! Really got your filming chops in this time around. Great trip!

@@BladezAndrew elon cant take criticism it looks like PepeLaugh
REALNEIGHBORNOTGAY just a reminder that all of Tesla’s specs are lies and all their lap times are cheated with illegal racing tires and that’s the reason why none of their times are listed on any of the tracks official websites and even with the “plaid” model s with modified aero and illegal tires got a time of 7:20 around the Nurburgring that’s still closer to sub 300hp FWD hatches like the Renault Megane than it it to any actual super cars. Also a reminder that more than likely the Plaid powertrain is probably the same powertrain the Roadster is going to have, and the Roadster is going to weigh more, along with the fact that most people won’t have semi slick tires on it so it’s going to be even slower.
Bladez Andrew
It’s not listed because it’s not in production yet. And as far as I know, Michelin Pilot Sport CUP 2 Rs are street legal. The GT2 RS used them and their laptime was posted. And ofc it’s not going to be as fast as the fastest super/hypercars out there because it’s a 5,000 lb luxury car. Even then, that laptime is still impressive and it’s within spitting distance of a 488 GTB, a 991.1 Porsche GT3, a Jaguar XE Project 8, etc etc.
Also, Tesla’s specs are not only legit, but they’re consistently underrated. Motor Trend and Car and Driver consistently get better results than what Tesla claims.
@@M67v dafuq are you even talking about. I'm not talking about just the semi slicks or the pilot cup 2 R's im talking about the full on racing slicks... There's a difference between coming to a track where you're car looks like this
www.thedrive.com/news/29882/modified-tesla-model-s-prototype-unofficially-laps-nurburgring-faster-than-porsche-taycan-report
to then failing so you come back like this

to then failing again so you finally come back like

then when you realize that the nurburgring is not you're thing your like sure let me just use full on racing slicks *scroll down
www.teslarati.com/tesla-model-3-fastest-lap-record-laguna-seca-video/
Even if they used only semi slicks for the nurburgring record it doesn't matter if all the other modifications are more than likely illegal for production cars to have. There's a reason you dont see many super cars with super aggressive splitters and wings.... Cause of like "pedestrian" safety if you accidentally hit them you dont want to literally split them in half. Also the reason why pop up headlights became illegal. No way did Tesla care about that since they literally came back after like only a week after the one attempt or whatever. I highly doubt any of the production models will come with a diffuser either. They only care about appearing better than the competition when they're not.... at anything
as far as motortrend and car and driver always getting better results.... again lmao what? www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a30874032/porsche-taycan-range-test-tesla-model-s/#:~:text=The%20results%20were%20far%20closer,222%20for%20the%20Model%20S.&text=The%20last%20Model%20S%20we,EPA%20figure%20at%20the%20time.
and bruh i really dont wanna link more just look into the fact that all their 0-60 times they never specified tires or 1 foot rollouts as well. Idk and honestly i really dont care at this point i've typed half this shit so many times. You actually can't believe 10,000NM of torque is even a remotely plausible claim, like i just can't right now. Every spec is so overrated to the point where it's honestly laughable how straight up fraud it is. Like even after they confirm the roadster won't do 0-60 in 1.9 seconds and that it's only the space-x version with the thrusters and a 1 foot rollout that will be able to do it people still blindly follow... Like why? Why do you care? If the Owl Aspark does 0-60 in 1.6 seconds LEGIT who tf even cares about tesla cheating to reach 1.9?
If you ever do get a Tesla or you already have one... Have fun changing the entire driveline every 20k miles.... Like if an ICE needed a brand new engine AND transmission every 20k miles...
Simply awesome.
Very well curated and kudos to the team.
It takes a tremendous amount of hard work to produce such a masterpiece.
Such an awesome road trip series! Have been watching every since one every single year and they just keep getting better!
Why would someone put themselves through that kind of hellish discomfort in the EVO? Guess it goes to show that race cars are for the track only. They are in no way a viable daily driver.
Its all about what you are willing to sacrifice for power. The evo used to be a daily driver, but all the creature comforts were removed because racecar.
Ethan Lyde . Fair point. Not for me. I much prefer creature comforts especially for long road trips like this.
@@surfdude7575 i agree. I had a toyota celica without a muffler and the highway drone noise on it was way too much for me. So before i left on long trips, i would put it on, but when i was zooming around town, i would take it off again
