I was ten or turning ten when Andrew's first Spider-Man film came to the movies. I remember pumped for the Lizard and excited for another Spider-Man film because I loved Tobey Maguire's movies as a kid. Seeing it I loved it! I remember everyone hating his second movie but I remember when I went to see it I was loving the action and the Green Goblin at the end. When Gwen was falling I knew instantly she wasn't going to be saved. And when his Spider symbol appeared on screen after the final shot the entire and I mean the ENTIRE theatre was clapping and cheering! It was the first time I ever seen people do that for a film, so if it really is a bad film, why the hell do people enjoy watching it?
I agree, TASM 2 is incredible imo. Out of all the spiderman films, it has the best cinematography, special effects, visuals, soundtrack, action sequences, web swinging, suits, emotional moments, characterizations, and chemistry. If it wasnt for Sony’s interference this film wouldve been the absolute best spiderman film. Nevertheless, it is still amazing.
It's a mediocre film but that doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable. I find there's plenty of films like that. There were a lot of poor things about the writing of the movie and the pacing was also poor. That being said the action scenes are fucking PHENOMENAL and the sound track is amazing. The amazing spider-man movies have imo my favourite action scenes from any superhero movie. On top of that Andrew's performance is also amazing, even though there are flaws in the character in this adaptation imo (not major ones but still flaws) he owns the character so so well and that's what still makes it such a hype movie.
the point is i remember seeing this part of the scene when I watched the movie in the theatres, but this version isn't there anywhere online. for so long i thought I'd imagined him screaming in grief, but now i know that it actually existed
This is so underrated since this means that all three Spider-Men genuinely wanted to kill the Green Goblin. Tobey would've kept beating Norma's face in, Andrew threw Harry's (un)conscious body on the ground and Tom was going to impale Norman with his own glider. It really cements the fact that the Green Goblin is Spider-Man's primary antagonist and will do whatever it takes to make Peter's life as miserable as possible.
Tobey has no grudge with Norman, if anything he would pity the guy, and Harry. Eddy Brock killed Harry and he didn't seem to hold grudge either, he's just a nice guy. Andrew doesn't even know what is a Green Goblin.
I remember reading about the deleted scene how when Gwen died, goblin was looking down at him laughing, and anger got the best of pete and he went back up and started brutally beating goblin, I think it was cut cause of the rating conflicts but man I would’ve at least as a deleted scene loved to have seen it
Andrew is so DAMN UNDERRATED his acting is incredible, his spider-man is incredible. Everything about him is great, and I'm glad people are finally realizing this after NWH, and requesting a TASM 3 , because that would make me the happiest person in the world
Andrew always was a great actor and still is , in fact great is an understatement. He is one of the most underrated actors in the history of acting. He proves this to the world in this scene the most as he placed his whole heart and soul into this scene and has never let us down with his acting.
When Andrew's Spider-Man said, "I got vengeful". I believe this deleted scene would've sufficiently been enough to show the start of his breaking point
It would have been great if this scene was in the movie and he kills Harry...then doing a 3rd movie and in this movie they have made it dark similar to what James Cameron wanted to do with Leo Dicaprio as Peter...it sucks that James Cameron didn't make that movie bc it would have been awesome.
So what your telling me, Andrew’s Spiderman would’ve had a Ultra Instinct moment with Green Goblin, avenging Gwen’s death before not killing him? Damn we need this cut yo… Edit: Im reading this on 2/10/22. I hope all of you who liked this post have a gr8 life yo. Stan Lee made a impact through his work and he just wanted people to come together. I really appreciate knowing who he is🅿️
This is just one of the most painful scenes in any movie I've ever seen. Gwen was so vibrant and their love story so sweet until it turned tragic... I so desperately wanted the writers to Let Gwen Live that I was in HARD denial until the end of the scene. And then I was sobbing ALL through the rest of the movies, the credits, and sporadically at lunch afterward... My brother was kinda concerned cause I kept getting emotional and we were in a sandwich shop or whatever. But I legit could NOT stop crying. I went home and cried MORE. It's been years and I STILL cry about it. I'm crying rIGHT NOW.... THE HECK DID ANDREW AND EMMA DO TO ME????
Andrew has been my favorite Spider-Man even before no way home. He is the perfect mix of all the character traits of Spider-Man. The humor, the selflessness, and the rage.
Omg same bro like I love Andrew I don’t about anyone else saying his a bad or good actor or whatever I didn’t even think about that I freaking loved the way he played It amazed me sooooo GOOD 🥺👌🏼❤️
@@lps4life855 I think he’s the best actor to play Spider-Man. Tobey was sort of a novice at the time, and it’s hard to take Tom seriously. Andrew was so believable in the role. It made it feel so real. I grew up watching tobey too. His movies are pretty much my childhood. But I think I still prefer Andrew.

@@alexanderlopez-dq2lp most people likes him before too. Andrew was never the problem, the movies were. Also what if some people saw NWH and changed their mind about Andrew? what would be wrong with that? lmao so dumb
Kinda like with star wars and the prequel trilogy. Most everyone was outspokenly hateful towards those movies, but then the sequels started coming out and all of a sudden people were lapping praises on those movies.
@@Jdude281 I agree, especially after the disney trilogy, i think people saw their good qualities, theres gonna be a new trilogy in like 10 years and well be like , yo, maybe tlj and trs werent that bad, lmao
It's almost more haunting not being able to see these scenes beyond photos. We only get small glimpses into how he broke down, like it was all a blur for him as well
Originally goblin laughed while Andrew's crying for Gwen death. Andrew get angry, scream and go to Harry to kill him but at the end don't. The scene was too much violent that the movie could have been R-rated so Sony decide to cut it off unfortunately. There's also a scene where Harry transformation is more darker, longer and violent. He also killed everyone at oscorp after his transformation.
literally he is incredible. to be able to access such a vulnerable place as an actor isn't easy and he poured everything into it. literally heartbreaking.
It’s sad how the only reason they removed this scene was because audiences thought it was too dark but in no way home Holland almost killed Goblin smh we need this cut ASAP‼️
This broke my heart originally. Gutted we never got to see him in the aftermath of that loss. Missing that with an actor of his calibration made me mad then and still does. But then I love him in everything. He never fails to bring emotional depth and realism to those he plays.
as someone who grew up with tobey, i’ve always been an andrew guy myself. it’s kinda sad that most are *just now* liking andrew as spiderman when he’s been great all along and not many gave him a chance. i’m just glad he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves
TASM 1 and TASM 2 have always had a special place in my heart. I acknowledge that they're not the best, and i think it's because even though the story may not be the best, Andrew did such a great job for the role he had.
Andrew put his heart and soul into making this scene everything, it hurts my heart so much everytime I watch it. And to think that him and emma were a couple, so it would have bought all the more emotional reaction, as he could easily be thinking what if it actually happened to emma. This was good as it gave him an emotional attachment to the scene, causing it to be one of the best ever, in my opinion.
You know how this could've been MORE sad? Originally, Gwen was supposed to survive the fall but was still bleeding to death. And before she dies, she would tell Peter to "never give up" before her eyes roll back. WHY THE F*CK WAS THIS CUT!?!
Damn this is what andrew's spiderman was talking about that he went dark, If this wasn't delete maybe the ratings of this movie is great the scene was exactly like in the comics when gwen died.
@@ladiesman-mt5si he's not lol. Tom is a budget Peter Parker. Andrew's Pater Parker lost Captain Stacy, Unc Ben, Gwen and his friend Harry betrayed him.
This scene killed me. I don’t get very emotional, but this hurt, so much. Sure, it was a very dysfunctional relationship, but like, it’s Spider-Man. It doesn’t change the fact that Peter and Gwen were seriously committed in this movie. It makes McGuires version with Peter and MJ seem like a childhood crush love triangle. Her death put me the closest I’ve been to crying from sadness in years. Amazing acting and storytelling, but damn. Did y’all have to make it hurt so much?
I never saw these pictures, it could be really interesting to see an extended cut of the movie and especially of THIS scene! Andrew nailed this scene to perfection, and he carried that weight in NWH too. He's really such a great and underrated actor!
I’m in complete and utter Infuriation that they didn’t include this in tasm2. He poured his heart and soul into this scene, his films should’ve been written better. He deserves so much more
The NOOOOO scream would of fit in the movie aswell- it almost makes me disappointed they cut that part out . However , the death of Gwen hit hard when Andrew literally put his heart and soul in that scene , so I can't help but not be disappointed
This score is actually to the For You scene, it's the same length and the beats land on things like spilling the brief case on the floor. This part of the Goblin battle was cut before the score was written
Actually, movies directors put lots of time in scenes but they don't release it due to production mistakes, mistakes in the actual movie or they don't think that viewers/fans would enjoy it, so they decide to just remove it.
Seeing that he was supposed to beat the holy hell out of Goblin after her death, after hearing him say "I stopped pulling my punches" in No Way Home. We need the extended cut of this movie for this scene and his dad talking to him
And yet the same studios that made Spiderman 1 had Tobey Maguire beaten with the inch of his life by Willem Defoe and I was a kid watching it then so screw them kids who grew up TASM2😂 SERIOUSLY I MAN UP SO SHOULD THEY
They shouldn't had deleted this scene. The director came out and said that he attended this movie to be a grounded darker version of Spidey! So wtf SONY YOUR BALLS FELL OFF 😂
The amazing spiderman 2 was so rushed and overcutted that it felt wrong, but at the same time i think it had a superb potential, maybe it had to be divided into 2 separated movies, but in the same storyline, hope we can get a TASM 3 as the final film for andrews spiderman
I saw it in cinema ‘n’ could’ve sworn he screamed, I always remembered this scene as part of the film and thought it was weird that he didn’t scream second time around..
Andrew has been an incredible actor like forever. His performance especially the end of the social network was great. And tick tick…boom. Oh my god THAT is what makes him amazing to me he’s incredible in that movie
This scene really made me cry while i was watching the movie when it released. This pair is seriously so cute n lovely. Their chemistry was like awee so 🥰

I watched it yesterday, expecting a dumpster fire but I also really enjoyed it.
Green Goblin is literally the Joker of Spider-Man franchise.
Green Goblin brings trolling to a new level, like Joker
Tobey has no grudge with Norman, if anything he would pity the guy, and Harry. Eddy Brock killed Harry and he didn't seem to hold grudge either, he's just a nice guy. Andrew doesn't even know what is a Green Goblin.

I remember reading about the deleted scene how when Gwen died, goblin was looking down at him laughing, and anger got the best of pete and he went back up and started brutally beating goblin, I think it was cut cause of the rating conflicts but man I would’ve at least as a deleted scene loved to have seen it
@RRMK BOSS sounds pretty accurate to me
Fucking hell that should have been kept in
@@jacksonlintemuth5511 I’m saying I would’ve just loved to see it too even Blu-ray bonus features or something lol
Andrew said at one point that scene would have given the film an R rating. 8)
@@sydneyp3357 yeahhhh I heard about that man that would’ve been great tho
Andrew is so DAMN UNDERRATED his acting is incredible, his spider-man is incredible. Everything about him is great, and I'm glad people are finally realizing this after NWH, and requesting a TASM 3 , because that would make me the happiest person in the world
I think Andrew is no longer "Underrated" after NWH
Bro, the only thing shit about the TASM movies are the writing and storyline. But Andrew totally nailed being a peter parker and spider-man
Yeah, his interpretation was great, if only other aspects like the script and direction were better…
#SONYMAKETAMS3
Try watching Hacksaw Ridge, you'll be amaze even more
Andrew always was a great actor and still is , in fact great is an understatement. He is one of the most underrated actors in the history of acting. He proves this to the world in this scene the most as he placed his whole heart and soul into this scene and has never let us down with his acting.
This is what he meant when he said "I stop pulling my punches." literally trying to kill his best friend but stopped at the end
I would really like to see a directors cut of this. #releasetheWebbcut

So what your telling me, Andrew’s Spiderman would’ve had a Ultra Instinct moment with Green Goblin, avenging Gwen’s death before not killing him? Damn we need this cut yo…
Edit: Im reading this on 2/10/22. I hope all of you who liked this post have a gr8 life yo. Stan Lee made a impact through his work and he just wanted people to come together. I really appreciate knowing who he is🅿️
watch the movie and be pleasantly surprised
no way home
That’s what Peter did to goblin after killing gwen in the comics. Beat the absolute shit out of him
More of a Super Saiyan moment rather than an Ultra Instinct one. 🙂
nah what we need is tasm 3
I love the scene where Peter is crying over Gwen's body then he let's out this awful painful rage infused scream over losing Gwen
They got you right in the feels
I got CHILLS BY THIS, GOD DAMN ANDREW, YOU'RE AMAZING
Andrew has been my favorite Spider-Man even before no way home. He is the perfect mix of all the character traits of Spider-Man. The humor, the selflessness, and the rage.
Eu acho que o tom é o perfeito
Omg same bro like I love Andrew I don’t about anyone else saying his a bad or good actor or whatever I didn’t even think about that I freaking loved the way he played It amazed me sooooo GOOD 🥺👌🏼❤️
@@lps4life855 I think he’s the best actor to play Spider-Man. Tobey was sort of a novice at the time, and it’s hard to take Tom seriously. Andrew was so believable in the role. It made it feel so real. I grew up watching tobey too. His movies are pretty much my childhood. But I think I still prefer Andrew.
@@thatjoshwright5577 SAME 😆👍🏼❤️
i like how everyone loves andrew all of the sudden despite everyone hating his films before nwh, i think people hated him just because people missed toby. i still think the raimi films are better, but people were too hard on the films
everyone came out of the closet and are now started liking andrew garfield now 🤣🤡
@@alexanderlopez-dq2lp i always liked him
@@alexanderlopez-dq2lp most people likes him before too.
The amount of emotion in that scene is just tremendous. You can feel the pain he was going through.
It's almost more haunting not being able to see these scenes beyond photos. We only get small glimpses into how he broke down, like it was all a blur for him as well
0:02 I really felt that no please, Andrew such a great actor🥲
The scream he gave after her death always give me literal chills
The way Andrew acts is just so good like you can really feel the emotion
Originally goblin laughed while Andrew's crying for Gwen death. Andrew get angry, scream and go to Harry to kill him but at the end don't.
The scene was too much violent that the movie could have been R-rated so Sony decide to cut it off unfortunately.
There's also a scene where Harry transformation is more darker, longer and violent. He also killed everyone at oscorp after his transformation.
I bet if Andrews Spider-Man ever got the symbiote he would end up actually killing goblin
Bro I wanna see this fight
@J. H. bruh Leave the dude alone you don’t know if English is his first language or not
As I understand it, they also cut the scene because a second fight between Peter and Harry would ruin the atmosphere that Gwen's death created
@@jaygo2546 Goblin wouldn’t stand a chance against Andrew’s Spider-Man with the Venom symbiote
It’s crazy how how good Andrew is at portraying emotions to make the situation seem real! He is such a good actor!
This scene goes so well with him saying he stopped pulling punches and got rage full after her death you can see the anger and sadness 🖤🥺
literally he is incredible. to be able to access such a vulnerable place as an actor isn't easy and he poured everything into it. literally heartbreaking.
I'm being emotional with Andrew simultaneousness damn it.
It’s sad how the only reason they removed this scene was because audiences thought it was too dark but in no way home Holland almost killed Goblin smh we need this cut ASAP‼️
it was because of the ratings
This broke my heart originally. Gutted we never got to see him in the aftermath of that loss. Missing that with an actor of his calibration made me mad then and still does. But then I love him in everything. He never fails to bring emotional depth and realism to those he plays.
A good way to start TASM 3 would be a flashback to right after Gwen's Stacy's death showing Peter's descent into rage as he kills Harry.
as someone who grew up with tobey, i’ve always been an andrew guy myself. it’s kinda sad that most are *just now* liking andrew as spiderman when he’s been great all along and not many gave him a chance. i’m just glad he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves
TASM 1 and TASM 2 have always had a special place in my heart. I acknowledge that they're not the best, and i think it's because even though the story may not be the best, Andrew did such a great job for the role he had.
"Luego de la muerte de Gwen dejé de medir mis golpes...."
Ahí la frase con esta escena cobra sentido
Lo leí con la voz de Andrew y solo he no way home 1 vez
he "Stopped pulling his punches" after this, I wish we could've seen this
Andrew put his heart and soul into making this scene everything, it hurts my heart so much everytime I watch it.
FUCK THAT WOULD'VE MADE ME CRY😢
Andrew’s acting is phenomenal in TASM 2
Especially when Gwen dies, and the deleted scenes like the one with his father
And Sony still did him dirty
oh god, was he beating up harry there?! holy shit i DO want a webb cut now, just because it'll add more weight to no way home's finale
He stopped pulling his punches and became bitter, so I’m assuming he either beat Harry to where he can no longer walk💀 or killed him
@@noslenthegalliant4798 apparently he beat him up to the point that he was supposed to go into coma or something like that
Andrew is a really great actor and he deserved his second chance in no way home
That scream would have been cool to have in the film
This should've been kept in the movie
Idk why people say this was a bad film , like what the hell i frickin love this movie
this movie is like the perfect template for a spiderman vs venom movie. TASM 3 needs to happen, always had to
Damn this is what andrew's spiderman was talking about that he went dark, If this wasn't delete maybe the ratings of this movie is great the scene was exactly like in the comics when gwen died.
The fact they delete that scenes is a crime
0:36 at this point the spiderman barrier broke, he was no longer friendly neighborhood spiderman
His reaction is priceless, flawlessly portraited. #MakeTASM3
Andrews Spider-man has been through the most unimaginable pain out of all of the 3
i used to agree but after seeing nwh i can say tom has went through the most out of the three
@@ladiesman-mt5si not really.
@@nick.19 i mean his version of peter literally lost everything
True
@@ladiesman-mt5si he's not lol. Tom is a budget Peter Parker.
Andrew's Pater Parker lost Captain Stacy, Unc Ben, Gwen and his friend Harry betrayed him.
This was just amazing scene, it really shows how he stopped pulling his punches
They now released the soundtrack, hopefully it won’t them too long to release the scene.
Link?
@Mr. M thank you so much!
Fantastic piece of music 🎵❤️
Andrew definitely would’ve had the darkest symbiote arc
Top tier scene and they removed it, that’s sucks, the yelling really showed how much he is in pain 💔
In my head canon, while we didn't see it in the film, this is what Andrew Peter ment in No Way Home of he stopped pulling his punches.
Makes me wonder if the man he claimed he killed was Harry 😂😂😂😂😂
I remember feeling this scene in my bones the first time seeing it. Just goes to show how great of an actor Andrew is.
This is it, the part where he wasn’t pulling his punches.
Actually, movies directors put lots of time in scenes but they don't release it due to production mistakes, mistakes in the actual movie or they don't think that viewers/fans would enjoy it, so they decide to just remove it.
he saved mj in the new spider man movie so he made Gwen happy in heaven
HOW DID THAT SCREAM GET CUT ITS HEART BREAKING WTF
That scream was powerful, damn...
Andrew doesn't act. Andrew becomes the character and his character doesn't pretend. He is so talented
This is fireman have more emotions than all the Spider man's life action😢
0:18 I seen this part in the final tv spot.
Whatt
TV spot??
Just imagine Andrew with the symbiote
“I stopped pulling my punches. I got rageful. I got bitter.”
Seeing that he was supposed to beat the holy hell out of Goblin after her death, after hearing him say "I stopped pulling my punches" in No Way Home. We need the extended cut of this movie for this scene and his dad talking to him
The picture at 0:36 has no context but it's still extremely creepy and eerie
His chance of redemption made me cry
For those who’ve seen NWH, the way Tom fought Green Goblin at the end is similar to how this scene was supposed to play out.
Andrew was a great Spider Man, it's just that poor writing and corporate interference kinda screwed the TASM franchise
U still hating that’s why it’s not coming back stop. Being fucking haters an just enjoy it
He's too good at acting in death scenes like omg no actor tears my heart out more than Andrew Garfield reacting to death
The reason it was cut because the scene was brutal and the way Spider-Man was beating goblin to death was fully censored
So wtf SONY YOUR BALLS FELL OFF 😂
The amazing spiderman 2 was so rushed and overcutted that it felt wrong, but at the same time i think it had a superb potential, maybe it had to be divided into 2 separated movies, but in the same storyline, hope we can get a TASM 3 as the final film for andrews spiderman
the movie would have been 100x better with that scream
I saw it in cinema ‘n’ could’ve sworn he screamed, I always remembered this scene as part of the film and thought it was weird that he didn’t scream second time around..
He is amazing not only spiderman but also and amazing actor. Wish we could see TASM 3 in future
In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, when Gwen Stacy dies the clock stops at 1:21. In the comics, Gwen dies in The Amazing Spider-Man #121.
Andrew has been an incredible actor like forever. His performance especially the end of the social network was great. And tick tick…boom. Oh my god THAT is what makes him amazing to me he’s incredible in that movie
so thats why Andrew told Tom that he got mad, stopped to hold his punches... The speech he gave us made sense after this scene
Frrr
Spiderman in a broken clocktower goes hard
This scene really made me cry while i was watching the movie when it released. This pair is seriously so cute n lovely. Their chemistry was like awee so 🥰
omg i distinctly remember after this scene i was like damn he shoulda like screamed or something that wouldve REALLY made me sob. BUT HE ACTUALLY DID. MY GOD I LOVE HIM
