Dude, you must have been DEAF standing that close to a D Boon’s amp… He played Twin (even Super Twins!) completely dimed- with the treble all the way up and bass all the way down. Your ears must have been bleeding!!

@@kevinmurtagh4996 I am currently deaf in one ear and lost about 50 percent in the other. I played in a few bands and probably saw close to 4000 sets in my time plus nearly 25 years working in a wood shop. I just completed 6 steroid injections through the ear drum of my only working ear to salvage hearing from sudden hearing loss two months ago. Protect your hearing!

holy crap, thank you for the amazing song selections. d boon has got to be an all time favorite for me, his tone and playing are impeccable. a guy that runs a record store i like to go to used to be a music journalist back in the day and he MET d boon! he told me he interviewed d boon a few months before he died and d boon went out of his way to find his address and send him a copy of a who bootleg! too sad he died so young, the minutemen were on to something.

You can do the d7 d9 chords on the 5th and 6th strings up further closer to the 12th fret. D Boon did a lot of work with the 5th and 6th strings. Listen and watch him play on various videos
