I installed a fiberglass pool at our home in Canada in 2021 and it was commercial construction. For the stone patio as well. Excavated, rock, re-bar, concrete, slabs. The pool has rebar and rocks and concrete.
That’s interesting how a fiberglass pool is installed. We never had a fiberglass pool but did have three gunite pools installed. Pools are nice but our kids are grown so my wife and I are done with all that extra work of maintaining a pool. Now, we just go over to ourchildren’s home and use theirs and let them maintain theirs.. 👍👍
Feel bad for the homeowner with this concrete installation process. They poured a mud slab over compacted dirt, no gravel, no wire mesh. Curious what that concrete looks like. I would also be pissed with the mortar dust that filled the pool, bet that was fun attempting to clean up.

when you put all those tons off water in to it --how much did it sink - ( settle ) 5-10 cm - is there drain under it - leave it whit no water in and it rain it,s gonna lift ( flout ) up the ground -make sure to anker it down
I don’t even see a place on the side for the skimmer, where the water goes into the filter. There are no jets on the sides for the filtered water to return into the pool. I saw NO pipes installed anywhere. There was no gravel put under the cement. If that gigantic toilet looking thing is part of the filter, how is the water going to get into it????
@@ocherokeeo well it's all there. Have you watched all the videos in order? There is certainly a pump, filtration system all of it. They have already explained some steps were edited out in the time lapse. Make sure you watch all 3 parts.
@QUICK-STAR they are there. I'm not sure where, but from reading through their answers to so many dumb questions ppl have asked I know it has a normal filtration system/ pump etc

Right 😂 I've got 2 guys working on mine who dug it all out as well as a electrician, concreter, fence guy and plumbing. But just the two of them installing it.
Seen concrete pushed into pull, release powder in pool, no gravel or rebar used. This company really needs to do better. That’s a lot of money. Sure it looks good but the lack of proper install will show in couple years
Wow the movement of the pool water is unnerving. Makes the pool look very unstable. And no rebar or even gravel under that concrete around the pool? I see cracks in your future. Not to mention all that concrete dust in the pool! Yikes! Your filter will be ruined!
There is both gravel and rebar. They have explained already some stuff gets edited out during the time lapse process. You can see those both in Part 1. I love how so many of you are jumping to the wrong conclusions lmao 🤣
Not if they are installed properly. My fiberglass pool was laid on a thick layer of fine gravel and a pipe was installed under the pool to carry ground water up and away from underneath.
Yet some how in my area these pools are almost 95% of the cost of a gunite pool...how lol. Called screwing the consumer, I'll stick with my sprinkler lol 🤣

Exactly
I didn't think that at all! too busy concentrating on the pool install and the workers. I would love to have this in my back yard.
Looks great, but why no rebar or ground compaction for the concrete? 🤔
I installed a fiberglass pool at our home in Canada in 2021 and it was commercial construction. For the stone patio as well. Excavated, rock, re-bar, concrete, slabs. The pool has rebar and rocks and concrete.
The pool alone looks more costly than the houses in the neighborhood.

@QUICK-STAR it's a movie reference to someone with the last name "Smalls."

Would have liked to seen the finished product in the daylight
there is a part 3
That pools gonna need a deep clean! shifting dirt and grit around water is not wise. Could have covered the pool till the end.
This never happens. The pool is fine.
How much did this cost total & what state is it ? Lmk please, I'd like to do this same thing in my back yard
What was total cost on this entire project from beginning to end?
46700 $

U don’t have to on something like this but it’s always good to
And thay put down some sort of rebar u can see it a 5:25 by the hot tub
Not necessarily. You can use steel or fiberglass fiber reinforcement. Its mixed in with the concrete at the plant.
The pool orientation is off. Too close to the house and fragmented, small sitting areas. Why wasn't the pool turned 45 degrees?
Theres always one person that turns up after everything is done saying why didn't you do this/that/the other, that's you.

That’s a lot of powder from the stamps going in the pool.
Where is the main drain? Be code all in ground pools must have a main drain on the bottom with an anti-vortex cover.
You don't need to have a bottom or side drain. My 34' x 16' fiberglass pool doesn't have one and I prefer it that way.

Do you have a pump for he pool? Where’s it installed
There's two systems (pump, filter, heater) on this setup. You can see them more easily in their first video.
How much was this setup?
We've currently got one being installed and went for an average size. This looks fairly big. Mines costing around 50k AUD.
