Been doing this for years and really love it. It's a dirty job but fun and challenging. We use construction plastic for the over spray with rebar to hold up the plastic... I love making benches, swimouts and steps.
You guys worked your butts off good job. Worth every penny. I'm having an above ground pool put in using the same material you used in this video. I've always wanted a pool but with grandkids I'm scared of them falling in just one time. It's going to be 36 ft long 6 ft wide and 4 ft deep. Could you give me a ballpark figure I what that would cost? Again good job guys.
Like 15,000 to 25,000, not 100% sure, take this as reference only. 36 ft x 6 ft x 4 ft = 864 cubic feet - Excavation and site preparation: $3,000 - $5,000 - Shotcrete application: $8 - $12 per square foot, so around $8,000 - $12,000 for this size pool - Pool equipment (pump, filter, etc.): $2,000 - $4,000 - Decking, coping, and finish materials: $2,000 - $4,000
Mexicans work good for labor but at my company we hire no illegals all legal USA boys who know how to cut and are strong and get a quality pool there is a huge difference in getting a quality pool builder and getting a nightmare. Keep up the work
@@patrickeh696no not same thing shotcrete is shot already mixed with water only air pressure gunite has a water hose at the end of the nozzle very similar but your still wrong
This is a horrible install and these people know nothing about shotcrete or concrete in general. Shotcrete is concrete coming out of the hose under pressure, not using shavings and waste. Wall trimmings should be removed from the pool, not used on the floor, and then wetted up. Poor, poor application.

Is that rebar or fiber glass for structural support?
What brand and model of machine did you use to do that shotcret job?
All that hard work and money, That's no easy job. I would love to see the end result!
Outstanding concrete work from those Mexicanos compadrues, hope they the salary they deserve.
In the southwest, they do the best masonary work there is.
Great Masons. I'm a Mason 20 years and using a shotcrete gun for the first time tomorrow.
how is the final pool water proofed?

Nice pool! What was the cost?
Inyo Man $8000
how much cement did you use with the shotcrete method in yards?
My guess is 17-22 yards there
hii, is shotcrete thermally insulated ? how is it different from air crete ?
thx
andrew
its better in this case as it easy and more efficient rather air crete which gonna need a construction frame to pour
Did this mix have gravel in it ?
Yes, peastone
Hello! Do you have a website?
who says the nozzleman has to be some giant dude?!?!
Just did this for 13 hours today fml

This is how NOT TO SPRAY ! These guys are doing a shit job!
100% mexicanos
Shitcrete? :D
Tem louco pra tudo.
That's gunite
shotcrete. same thing different name
@@patrickeh696 No. Shotcrete is mixed in advance and concrete is sent downline. Gunite is a dry mix with water added at the end of the nozzle.

Ain’t Shotcrete that’s gunite but those guys did a great job
Check out cool pools by whites shotcrete to see what a real shotcrete crew can do. The nozzleman is inexperienced that is for sure.
This ain’t even shotcrete brother, it’s gunite, if you don’t know the difference I don’t trust your advice.
