A visualisation of how the slot in West Coast Swing is shaped, scaled and how it can be flexed to fit certain pattern dynamics.
This video was born out of diagrams that were drawn to help put an image in a Teachers mind of what they hoped to transfer to a developing WCS dancer. It was a developing Instructor that offered us this digital animation of what we drew in class.
The diagrams and video are our own interpretation of how the slot is used in WCS dancing socially and choreographed routines. It is our own interpretation gained through all the learnings and experiences we have gathered.
