This isn't even luck based anymore, the entire domain is rigged no matter what he pulls and I'm loving the fuck out of it.
Btw, vessels gain the memory of the host they take over, so it's more likely his host knew about manga.
He might be like kite from Hunter X Hunter, yeah he makes a roll to get a "random" weapon, but it's always the best choice( in Hikari case, he hits the jackpot )
However, doesn't this contradict with the gambling aspect of his character ?

Hikari secret ability is luck itself. Get this: He's top 5 in Jujutsu Tech (by luck alone). He's a millionaire. He has his own loyal following/friends (the underground fight club he owns makes him a powerful man in and outside JJK world). Compared to most who stuggle with the JJK lifestyle, hes generally happy and accepting of it. His intellect exceeds most of the characters we seen thus far. Which has me thinking he will win the fight only to get slaughtered by someone like Sakuna or psyched-out Gojo
You said most struggled, that means others succeed. So I don't see that as luck.

Not sure where you may be reading it from but on Viz the line where Kashimo reacts to Hakari waking up is written as "Impossible!! His reverse curse technique is fully automatic!!" which when I read that I interpreted it as because his reverse curse technique is perpetually applied he didn't need to be awake to remove the toxin because the technique is always actively repairing his entire body no matter what. Had it not been an automatic ability Hakari would have needed to be awake. That's just how I understood that line though based off of the Viz translation not saying that it's 100% right
His body reflexively perform reverse curse technique while he is in immortal mode , it kinda like Goku ultra instinct
The other products of electrolysis is Hydrogen gas and Oxygen both gasses would react violently if say a spark was around
It's not a cop out though. Gege planned this whole fight to go like this. Hakari's plot device is literally insane luck so it's not weird that he gets super lucky. After all, if Akutami didn't want to write it like this, Kashimo wouldn't have been able to get Hakari at just the right place to hit him with the lightning bolt

To be honest I had a complete different idea about the trick Hakari used to push Kashimo in water.
Like that the space the Domain's barrier is can't be moved but you can reposition the position of the stuff in the Barrier with the external space.
Ex: Dagon use his DE on a basketball field, dude A is under one of the two baskets and the Domain's barrier is around the size of the Basketball field. Everybody remains still in the DE. Dagon can twist the inner space of the DE with the relative external space where the DE's barrier is so you can be "moved" to the center of the field or close to the other basket once the Barrier is removed. So you can Move the subjects into the DE in positions that are still into the range of the DE's barrier... but the DE's barrier isn't moved at all
I’m guessing he touched him with both hands at the same time giving D/C positive and negative charges or A/C phase to phase charges which results in over current and explosion ? Maybe I’m overthinking being an electrician but then again if chlorine poisoning is on the table maybe I’m not thinking hard enough …

I love this chapter alot because there is so many expositions Gege shows us.
-Combat can take advantage of the environment
-Domain Expansions can be moved
-Fatal Poisons stay fatal against Reverse Curse Tech unless there's and abundance of curse. (Edit)
-Water type Curses act just like fish would lol
You need a higher level reversed curse technique in order to handle poisons. Yuta has such a technique as we was able to heal Choso's poison.
Yea it just means a more skilled reverse curse technique. Which it is revealed here that hakaris is that more advanced version.

I just caught up on jjk and had to read Hakari's Domain abilities explanation probably 15 times to even kinda get it lol.
I think these people brought from many years ago actually saw time passing by or, at least, had some time to adapt to the present since none of them seemed confused or freaked out by how different everything looks now. So probably the electricity man had time to do some research and learnt about the physics revolving electricity.

That Explosion Kajimo created might just remove the quote Scalding and electrified water, meaning Hakari can cast the next Domain without worry of that water as he said, not to mention Hakari will likely reveal he’s curse technique next(Maybe Luck or Probability)

I would argue that effectively off pure talent he already does what Hakaris D.E. does. He can apply rct on top of having massive reservoirs of cursed energy. Now he can apply pressure with rika and himself against Hakari before Hakari even hits a jackpot. I would also say it's undeniable Yuta is overwhelmingly stronger then Hakari in terms of combat and jujutsu basics, so add Rika on top and hakari would have a tough time

When Reggie was reincarnated he had knowledge of the current world. Maybe Kenjaku set that information dump as a part of the binding vow. Could explain why Kashimo understood how to create the gas
Also it was filled with curse spirits because the barrier for that area is located in the sea
When we got introduced to Hakari, the it was said that luck was a skill that he had. I believe his jackpot was just that luck skill

Hakari was shown to be incredibly lucky this whole fight. I think he ends up in a cursed spirits body to tank the blast and then afterwards not hit the jackpot, but finish kashimo hand to hand no curse technique as the biggest gamble.
Each jackpot is just lulling the opponent into thinking hakari is just a domain expansion away from winnin. It’s his biggest asset not his win condition I would say.

The thing could be that as Hakari uses his ability and hasn't actually won the difficulty level can be raised quite high increasing special properties that increase his wins for jackpots as he battles and danger remains. Things are getting really good,hope he doesn't lose as it would suck to lose cause of luck.

Hakari isn't really using reverse cursed techniques. As it was elaborated when his immortality state was first revealed, he never learned to properly use reverse cursed energy. It's a byproduct of his jackpot giving him infinite cursed energy: his body automatically uses reverse cursed technique without any conscious input from Hakari. That's why it doesn't matter if he's unconscious or not, and why it doesn't matter what his skill level with the reverse cursed technique is. It's an automatic response to any damage that he might sustain.
Even so, it's not that overpowered: it lasts four minutes and eleven seconds, and by forcefully revealing the rules of his ability with his domain's sure-hit effect, his opponents know this. If they can outwit him and outrun him, they can run the immortality effect's timer down and strike back. Kashimo only kept fighting and trying ways to get around reverse cursed technique because he isn't focused on winning by any means. He's focused on winning by demonstrating the superiority of his power and skill. If he wanted to, he could circumnavigate the effect and just use a cheap shot to take Hakari out the second the effect wears off. But if he does that, Kashimo won't have satisfied his own conditions for the fight.
As far as you calling it a "cop out," you're kind of out of line, in my opinion. This fight isn't over yet, and we still haven't seen what Gege is setting out to accomplish with this fight scene. There are lots of things a fight scene can achieve. You're working under the assumption that the point of the fight scene is to pit two equally powerful opponents against each other in a fair fight to prove who's the better fighter. You're thinking of this like it's an MMA match, where the only thing that's going to be determined is who was the better fighter in that particular match.
The point of the fight could be, as others have suggested, proving that Gojo was right and that the younger generations of sorcerers are becoming capable of things that the conversative elites of the jujutsu sorcerer society can't understand; they reject Hakari's abilities and mindset for not fitting into their very narrow world view, but Hakari is so much more powerful than most of the sorcerers we've seen who have much higher standing. Or, it could be that even with Hakari's brute force and incredibly powerful abilities, that strength alone can't defeat the threat Kashimo and other sorcerers pose. That there has to be a different approach besides just slugging it out with no further goal in mind. Stop thinking of this like a boxing match, and start thinking about the themes or other big ideas Akutami is working out through the fight scene.

i really don't think Hakari is gonna die here, and my only reason for saying this is that Gege Akutami is justifying some of Hakari's jackpots with "you're truly overwhelmingly lucky", which is kinda stupid to me and it just feels like he's trying to keep him alive but also isn't quite sure how to make it seems natural and not an ass-pull, but it's just my opinion and i could be entirely wrong idk

It isn't his maximum technique. With electrolysis you don't just get chlorine gas, the Hydrogen gas from the process is also extremely flammable. Kashimo just took advantage of this by using electricity to create an explosion.

I really get now how Gege gives his characters the cursed techniques that fit to their character, and I'd pretty much guess Hakari's CT would probably be able to somewhat rigging stuff in connection to his domain or that he can flip the script of anything just like the latest unnatural jackpot. and I would pretty much guess Hakari winning and after this fights done the interaction would be like how Megumi vs Reggie went. on how a sorcerer lies
also I wouldn't say luck cause it's a bit of stretch of a CT. if he were to have that then he should have not sustain as much damage as he has, and it doesn't make sense if that were a CT in JJK simply. and I just don't know what Hakari's CT is there's so much info thrown out of what he can do and yet you can't figure it out.

From where I read the chapter it only said that Hakari's automatic reverse curse technique was so, well, automatic that it was able to also remove the toxins, like, it's not just automatic healing, it really is near invincibility while in the "Jackpot" state :v

Probability is just the math it doesn't guarantee anything. Filpping a coin, The probability is 50/50 but let's say you toss a coin 100 times you could get heads all 100 times.
