We kept our horses in a field with woven wire on locust posts. One of dad's horses foaled. Neighborhood pack of dogs got under the fence, (we found where later), chased down the foal and killed it. Roaming dogs are no joke and put livestock at risk. Good fences make good neighbors. Nice job! Congratulations!

One of the great books I have recommended to others over the years is "Think and Grow Rich" the highly famous book written by Napoleon Hill in 1939. One of the key principles emphasized in that book is "I WILL persist UNTIL I succeed!" And, this is precisely what you have done!

GREAT editing, Jason! We had some dog pressure from aggressive neighbor dogs a few times. The last time I gave a warning shot a few feet in front of him in the dirt. Sprayed the dog with dirt, and he got the message he's never returned. Regardless, we are going to transition from woven wire to 5/6 strand high-tensile electric fence this year.

I don't normally comment. You are by far my favorite homesteading channel and I also am a fan of the podcast. Let me say that I enjoy watching projects that take a long time and seem frustrating to get finished. I have my own such projects and it's encouraging to know that I'm not alone.
