Hi, you can add 2 more midbass 4ohm each driver to final 2ohm 4 speakers. Using the same 2-way crossovers. Or, just add more amp ch with more 2-way kit. Thanks for watching

Hi fred, i have this set running passive by audio control d6.1200, midwoofers r ok, I didn’t like the tweeters they r harsh and the Sss in the vocals r ruining everything else it’s like the vocals are not blending well. What should i do!! Is replacing the tweeters with the ml280 will be lot cleaner and better ? or should I replace the tweeters with other brands?
Hi mate, as mentioned several times here, the tweeters are too thin, the ML280 will over take them, as this kit has more tweeter and bass then vocals, get the STEG SQ32, will work best, thanks for watching
Love your videos. Looking for a mid level set of components. Right now it is between these mlk 165.3 or the dls up6i ultimate 6.5's. Which would you choose? They're both around $500 Canadian. Don't have steg out here

Hi mate, welcome🎶, between your selections. MPK will have better bass respond, as the voce doesn’t have deep bass, but, the voce is better in all means from the MPK. Voce has better tweeter, better vocals and better power output compared to the MPK, voce tweeters are little too bright, but way better than MPK tweeters, MPK feels thin and empty, thanks for watching

I can still exchange, which is the best in the price range? The set I want to mount on a Golf MK3 is Kit 2 Way MPK on the front, Sub Morel Primo 12 in the back (porta malas) and Amp Hertz H604. Hi Mike, thanks for the great support mate, well, can’t recommend MPK, as it’s thin sound, doesn’t feel full/natural, the MLK1650.3 is much better, better tweeters, better mids, with deeper sound, if you do like/prefer hertz, then go for the MLK1650.3 only, the best hertz ever made was the old MLK165, was an amazing kit, thanks for watching

Car speakers are free air, your car doors are not box, also, this way you get the opportunity to see the speakers from all angles, open, as voice coil magnet and so, in enclosure sure they sound better, but it’s just to mistake you, as most people don’t install enclosure at the car, thanks
It’s a descent speaker, works ok, not high-end for sure, tweeters are thin, there much better sets out there for the same cost, if someone likes Mille then stick to legend 1650, thanks for watching
What was your power going to them, and crossover points? Or, did you run them full range, and let the passive crossovers do all the crossover duites? Luv your videos, and use the one track as a reference after I tune, I forget the name, but has glass breaking, forest sounds, etc, left and right, back and fourth

Hi fred, really like what your doing, it makes the choice less difficult. But unfortunately I bought focal kx2, have them biamped at 4x180wrms on a kenwood headunit but the quality of different numbers are so extreme that I have to keep adjusting eq and other settings. I bought a zapco dsp Iv II and will completly go active. My guess is that the focals are going out, I had a set of Polk Audio Sr6500 but with that new headunit my tweeters burned out, and that was the best set I have heard so far. The 6,5” just could have it al, i really punished them and they never failed. But the focals are not satisfying, I bought 4 morel elate mids really like to hear that because al the good reactions here. I also bought the old hertz mille tweeters and midrange so before I’ll buy a steg set have to trie how its sounds. If possible I will add a set of infinity magnetostatic tweeter from kappa, I heard that on a car who won severall emma competitions, that sounded so unbelievable sweet he added them If im correct from somewhere above 9khz and up. They are oldskool but brand new. What do you think will it be a match with hertz mille ht 250 tweeters the hertz hd 500 midrange and the morel elate6 midbass?
Hi mate, glad you liked it, the Polk’s was a good design, focal always feels thin sometimes harsh, I’m always trying to explain that, people should know, sometimes or say most of the times we just buy name/price tag, and that’s a shame, later on, you feel it was a quick mistake, morel have good piccolo tweeters, for the midbass I prefer others, Nice you know The HT 250, it’s the first Mille tweeters, maybe I’ll do a video later on, they will work fine with HD500, but with other midbass, something deeper, I would upgrade to full kit of ME650CII SG650C, or ML653, or SS KIT, but that’s very expensive, and yeah, run always active, with passive crossovers and unstable speakers, you could feel lost in tuning, one day the setup is right, few hours later you can’t stand it lol, wish you success.. thanks for watching

Sound quality is the most important thing for me, detail, clarity, depth and accurate sound and everything that improve sound quality. i mostly listen to rock and EDM and i really dont want a very very sharp sound or harsh sound.

Seems need more power for mid bass. I have a 3 way mille pro with 2 woofer for doors and they are awesome at 80hz. I love this speaker. Quality/price excellent but i control they with a steg dsp 6to8, hertz ml power 4 for woofer and h604 for mid and tweeter. I love your channel Fred. Hi from Italy! ❤
I don't like at all. I had 1 years ago. Tweeter are worst than steg sq650tw and cost a lot more the hertz. Woofer are nothing special, dead sound, when i tried i compared with alpine spg17cs woofer (better than hertz dsk165.3), and i don't noticed particular difference except the cost.

I bought the MPK here in Brazil for R $ 1,600.00 reais. here is equivalent to Audison APK and Morel Maximo. Did I make the best choice? I can still exchange, which is the best in the price range? The set I want to mount on a Golf MK3 is Kit 2 Way MPK on the front, Sub Morel Primo 12 in the back (porta malas) and Amp Hertz H604. Will it be good? Hug from Brazil.

Hi Mike, thanks for the great support mate, well, can’t recommend MPK, as it’s thin sound, doesn’t feel full/natural, the MLK1650.3 is much better, better tweeters, better mids, with deeper sound, if you do like/prefer hertz, then go for the MLK1650.3 only, the best hertz ever made was the old MLK165, was an amazing kit, thanks for watching

It’s a descent speaker, works ok, not high-end for sure, tweeters are thin, there much better sets out there for the same cost, if someone likes Mille then stick to legend 1650, thanks for watching
What was your power going to them, and crossover points? Or, did you run them full range, and let the passive crossovers do all the crossover duites? Luv your videos, and use the one track as a reference after I tune, I forget the name, but has glass breaking, forest sounds, etc, left and right, back and fourth

Hi fred, really like what your doing, it makes the choice less difficult. But unfortunately I bought focal kx2, have them biamped at 4x180wrms on a kenwood headunit but the quality of different numbers are so extreme that I have to keep adjusting eq and other settings. I bought a zapco dsp Iv II and will completly go active. My guess is that the focals are going out, I had a set of Polk Audio Sr6500 but with that new headunit my tweeters burned out, and that was the best set I have heard so far. The 6,5” just could have it al, i really punished them and they never failed. But the focals are not satisfying, I bought 4 morel elate mids really like to hear that because al the good reactions here. I also bought the old hertz mille tweeters and midrange so before I’ll buy a steg set have to trie how its sounds. If possible I will add a set of infinity magnetostatic tweeter from kappa, I heard that on a car who won severall emma competitions, that sounded so unbelievable sweet he added them If im correct from somewhere above 9khz and up. They are oldskool but brand new. What do you think will it be a match with hertz mille ht 250 tweeters the hertz hd 500 midrange and the morel elate6 midbass?
Hi mate, glad you liked it, the Polk’s was a good design, focal always feels thin sometimes harsh, I’m always trying to explain that, people should know, sometimes or say most of the times we just buy name/price tag, and that’s a shame, later on, you feel it was a quick mistake, morel have good piccolo tweeters, for the midbass I prefer others,
Nice you know The HT 250, it’s the first Mille tweeters, maybe I’ll do a video later on, they will work fine with HD500, but with other midbass, something deeper,
I would upgrade to full kit of ME650CII SG650C, or ML653, or SS KIT, but that’s very expensive, and yeah, run always active, with passive crossovers and unstable speakers, you could feel lost in tuning, one day the setup is right, few hours later you can’t stand it lol, wish you success.. thanks for watching

Sound quality is the most important thing for me, detail, clarity, depth and accurate sound and everything that improve sound quality.

I have a 3 way mille pro with 2 woofer for doors and they are awesome at 80hz.
I love this speaker. Quality/price excellent but i control they with a steg dsp 6to8, hertz ml power 4 for woofer and h604 for mid and tweeter.

I don't like at all. I had 1 years ago. Tweeter are worst than steg sq650tw and cost a lot more the hertz. Woofer are nothing special, dead sound, when i tried i compared with alpine spg17cs woofer (better than hertz dsk165.3), and i don't noticed particular difference except the cost.
