- This is a brook I somehow have overlooked for years. I had the oppertuinity to fish it and hopped on it, wading a couple miles up the stream. With my favorite jerkbait in hand I knew something cool was gonna go down on this send. Enjoy the vid and let me know how ur sends have been going!!! Started using jerkbaits for trout on my local waters and all year round I have luck. Great replacement for spinners
What size jerkbait? Bass pro shops has either the 3 1/8" or 2", i'm assuming the 2"???

BRO how do you find these spots in Jersey
This is probably 1 of the 36 NJFW trout streams. On page 24 of the NJ freshwater digest, there is a list of wild trout streams. This spot is probably one of those streams. I think I've fished about 6 of those streams, and only 2 of those streams I didn't catch fish, however, I did see trout in all of the streams I've fished. There aren't many wild trout in Jersey, almost all of them in North Jersey, but in the few still wild places, you can find them.

I just started fishing these streams this year. Haven't been out lately, but yes, I have caught fish in late June early July. This is because most of these streams are spring fed streams, which for the most part, stay a constant temperature and have water in them all year round.

@@BobbyGloBeatz All of those streams on page 24 of the NJ Freshwater digest have wild trout streams that are cold year round. Whether or not they are spring fed, I have no idea, but all of them stay relatively cold year round. Obviously I wouldn't go there on a 95 degree day, but you can catch fish in the summer in these streams
