You know, Jesus wasn’t religious either. Religiosity denotes a set pattern. Christianity is about relationship. Jesus said in John 3:3 “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the lord y u kingdom of God.” You don’t need to clean yourself up to come to Jesus. He will help do that for you. Once you make a decision to follow Christ-you open the door of your heart. Revelation 3:20 says: Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. The scripture says: ANYONE. The only thing you need to do is to answer the door and receive the free gift that He gives you. If you truly have given your heart over the Him he will begin to change you. Because you love Him you will begin to change, little by little. This is called sanctification. All that’s needed now is for you to walk in newness of life. Your sin slate has been wiped clean. You are a new creation. If you focus on honoring and loving Jesus, your life will change. You’ll want to attend a bible believing church and you’ll want to be baptized. I pray that God will richly bless you in your new life.

Áine it can be difficult to find genuine Christian fellowship. The recent stirring of your heart is something that has happened to many Christians. God is always pursuing His beloved. I’d say that you would I ignore the stirring of your heart to your own peril. He may not pursue you again very soon. Take it from me, I strayed from the fold many times and having transgressed I often mourn my indiscretions. Once you fully experience the love of Christ you’ll never want to go back to your old life. Don’t give up in your search for fellowship. I feel certain that you’ll find one that teaches and preaches the WHOLE WORD of God.

Ive NEVER took matthew 12:30 when Jesus says WITH ME, as a physical thing. Physically besides him. Ive never read that scripture that way. Ive always read it, ironically, as when Jesus says *He that is not against us is for us* . ive understood *He that is not with me is against me* as "He that is not FOR me, is against me".
Romans 1: 32 Though they know God's decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them. We must stand against the abomination of men laying with men and women with women. Even if others try to say we're not Christian in doing so we need to stand up for God and don't sugar coat sin.
Okay clearly Jesus in Matthew 12:30 meant the exact same thing as in mark. I was wondering for a second where ANYONE would possibly see a contradiction. When Jesus says *He who is not WITH me* doesnt mean physically. Hes essentially saying *FOR* ME when he says WITH me. Hes saying the same thing. People need discernemt. So again *IF ANYONE IS NOT WITH(FOR) ME IS AGAINST ME*
I don’t see how Jesus contradicted himself, I agree with you plus with mark 9:40 all Jesus says is anyone who is not against us is for us (NLT). There are a few verses before that if they read those I believe it would be a bit more clear to them as to why Jesus would be saying that. Here’s what I think I think that maybe the man casting out the demon was a believer in Jesus just because he wasn’t in Jesus’ group it’s like the man who was possessed by the devil he wanted to follow Jesus but Jesus told him no because I believe that Jesus knew the former devil possessed man could be the light to his family, friends, and town. So I think that these two verses are the same Jesus believed that the man who casted out the devil was a man who could be a light. I’m still learning so your opinion is probably different than mine that was just how I took the two verses. And Jesus said something about you can’t serve God and Money, you are either children of God or of the devil and I honestly don’t think the devil would cast out his own demons because Jesus another point Jesus made satan can’t cast out satan a kingdom divided cannot stand. He who is not against us is for us , for example benny hinn he is not against us but he is for us coz altho he is false teacher and preach heresies but he preach true gospel so by doing so some may come to faith by listening gospel no matter who is that person. So in this case he is for us not against us but the quality of his work will be judged and Christ will seperate tares from wheat. Where is the other one is "against me" are those who rejects gospel for example other religions and atheist.
My Muslim friends always ask me where did Jesus explicitly say he is God. I knew he is God but what verse should I use to prove them. Right now I always use the verse John 13:13. If anyone has a better suggestion please share, I would really appreciate it.
