Dave McKean is still one of my favorite artist that I can endlessly look at his art forever. i later found out his work on album covers and retroactively realized it was him when looking at Dream Theater's metropolis part 2: scenes from a memory

Today received my copy of this beautiful slipcase edition and am absolutely blown away. Dave McKean is one of my favourite artists who got me into comics. Without him, I would not have read the works of Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman and Grant Morrison. This is now one of my most prized possessions. Thanks for the overview Omar!

Dave McKean did Dream Theater's Scenes from a Memory album cover, my favorite album of all time. I would really love to see a collaboration with Marilyn Manson, a art book, or photo session with McKean adding his art.

Great overview, thanks Omar! This is my favorite book of the year, Dark Horse really killed it with this one. Question for you Omar - what is with the music playing in the background during this video and some others I have seen recently from you? Is that something you are adding in post, or is that actually playing in the background during the video recording? I have to say, I'm not a fan, it is distracting and pretty annoying in my opinion.
