Growing up I had there was a guy in my hood he was much older and good on computers he used to be able to duplicate PS1 games and get overseas game not available in Canada like (Tomba 1,2) and he also had this one he was selling them 5$ of course I had this one I had close to 150 PS1 game he was also giving some free to try them
Yeah, Capcom Sound Team laid down some unironic BANGERS in this game. Few of the tracks actually fit the fighters, but they'd be dope for like a Final Fight game or something. I wish Capcom could bring the tracks back for Street Fighter 6, but I doubt it.
The arcade and home versions were different though. The arcade game was developed by Incredible Technologies, while Capcom handled the home console version themselves.

This sounds and plays completely different from the arcade version despite looking the same. Love the music and voice acting they did for this version! I don't think Guile had his iconic upside down kick in the arcade version. The arcade game played similar to SF2 but not quite. This looks like they literally just reskinned SF2 which I don't mind at all.

No, the game Capcom made based on the arcade game based on the movie based on the game. This was Capcom seeing how terrible the arcade game is and desperately taking the digitized sprites, "editing" a lot of them, and slapping them in a slowed down version of Super Turbo.

I like the stiffer animation here, because it makes it look more like Street Fighter II. That sense of familiarity, if nothing else.
