The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the heart-pounding descent down the iconic Shafer Trail Road. With its challenging switchbacks and panoramic vistas, this trail truly put both my truck and my driving skills to the test.
But the adventure didn't stop there. After triumphing over the Shafer Trail's twists and turns, I continued my journey along Potash Road, soaking in the mesmerizing landscapes and capturing the essence of the Moab region. The entire expedition covered approximately 32 miles of dirt road, immersing me in the untamed beauty of the great outdoors.

I did it last year in my wrangler. I had never done anything like it before and my hands were sweating the entire way. The experience for me really ended up building my confidence on shelf roads and I've done several more since then.

The switchbacks are fine, same at Mineral Bottom. Long Canyon road from the top down is less exciting but nice.😊
