Was that duct tool really a "cable driven rotating brush" or was it a compressed air hose with whipper snapper mini tube ends that flail in all directions under pressure?
You connected the big vac to cold air return, so just using the air brush in the hot air vent, where’s that dust going because the furnace is turned off
