Original Show: The Boys - Розваги
Hughie saying "you played my butt like jazz" still has to be one of my favorite lines from this show
Gives a whole new meaning to "scat" singing 😎
Going from "This show is beyond disturbing" to "I'm loving this so far" real quick 😅
it has its really good moments and then moments where i can't look at the screen LMAO
@@VKunia good tv with ups and downs of all kind indeed
Gonna be back to “really disturbing “ soon lol
@@VKunia you have to look at the screen for every moment. We’re here for the reactions.
Hit season three and you wish for season one gore lmao
Fun fact: both Karl Urban (Butcher) and Anthony Starr (Homelander) are from New Zealand
They both have been in Xena.
I know man, it's awesome! I'm very proud to be a New Zealander!
@@Sharken-ob9guNo fair! You get the great looking country and the great looking actors to go with it!
@@Biorythym New Zealand also has some of the most beautiful landscapes! Come visit sometime!
just need some Hobbits :d
"I can't believe he was the voice for"
He sees dead people.
Rain Man is a movie that everyone should watch. Its an amazing movie which is why it's referenced so often
Hughie and Annie go really well together when they aren't both being idiots, usually just Hughie. It's probably the only pleasant part of the show to see besides maybe Frenchie and Kimiko's relationship. It will get better.
Karl Urban (Butcher) and Anthony Starr (Homelander) both portray their characters so well.
I'm counting down to the days when VKunia gets to 3x01 because (without spoiling anything) that's the reaction i'm looking forward to the most
4x01 is crazier
@@salvadormartinez8577Brosef living in the future.

Fair warning to Vkunia: Natalie Gold’s fans almost lynched her when she skipped *that* scene watching it! She had to go back and add it to the next episode she released. 😂
14:31 "Rainman" (1988) a movie about a guy with autism (Dustin Hoffman), and his younger Brother (Tom Cruise), taking a cross country trip after the death of their father. It is a pretty good movie.
first person to say hughie and starlight chemistry doesnt go welll crazyyyyy
Yeah, no idea what she's thinking. The tension was especially so awkward between the two in season 1 because they have great chemistry. So Hughie lying to her and even using her, while constantly under threat of being found out just felt super uncomfortable and sad, especially because you'd just knew the two would make a good team.
She probably just thinks that Starlight can do better than him.
@@yannym4605 Maybe projection form when she cheated on her bf.
Homelander the Super Hero that America deserves.
I wish I could disagree but…
No, the American people(or the world for that matter) don't need a psychopath like Homelander.
Does anyone have Gort's phone number? And enough to cover the long distance charges...
Hughie and annie make the best team. They will have to build on the relationship to make something work. It doesn't just happen😂😂😂
Hughie said he was afraid of water, so Homelander decided to hold him underwater longer because it was fun to him
Throughout the series you'll see more of how Homelander is a damaged child in the form of a grown man
Seth Rogan is actually an executive producer of The Boys, also Invincible.
And Preacher
This and Ted Lasso are the two best TV shows in years. Very different but equally awesome.
That exchange went completely unnoticed huh V??
M.M: "There's nothing wrong with having a little but of God in you."
Butcher: "Says the Preacher to the Nun."
LOL That line ALWAYS makes me laugh. HARD. No pun intended.
“Rain Man… I don’t know what Rain Man is…” 😵💀I feel ancient!
Immediately add that movie to your watch list! 🤯
Hughie is. Hughie is exceptionally good for Annie's soul. Without Hughie there to listen to Annie, she might have let herself slip into a really dark and depressing emotional pit and never be herself. Hughie is even good for Billy Butcher's soul. He makes Butcher laugh more than probably even HE would have thought.
So I'd say that there IS at least THAT one thing that is good for the soul.
28:19 was the lightbulb moment for V when Starlight's story all makes sense now
Rain Man is actually a good movie. I recommend you to watch it.
Mesmer is played by Haley Joel Osment, who played in greats like
The Sixth Sense, Pay It Forward, and A.I. Artificial Intelligence
NOT the Mummy
I keep seeing him has having played in X-men Last Stand as Leech, but that character was actually played by Cameron Bright, who also played a young Orlin in Stargate SG-1
TIL Cameron Bright is a different person but yea you're right. I also have often lumped all those child actors together. Jake Lloyd is a third similar actor.
"that was diabolical!!!!" hahaha and the baby face hahaha love butcher
Rain Man is a 1988 movie starring Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise.
It won the Oscar for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor ( Dustin Hoffman) and best screenplay. -totally worth a review.
Rain Man is a 1988 movie with Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman.
The titular Rain Man is Dustin Hoffman's character, an autistic man who has eccentric behavior and cannot properly care for himself or cope, but is able to do complex math with ease.
Homelander had a severe lack of intimacy during his youth and the scientists who ran experiments on him took advantage of his trust and never showed him real care. If you never show someone empathy they will grow up to be someone who lacks it for others.
Without naming names, we see a prime example of that principle in a particular person who is in the news A LOT.
@@dggydddy59 The second and third season lean hard into that comparison
@@dggydddy59 Jesus I can't even read UA-cam comments without someone bringing up Trump.
@MajesticsTwelve I've seen the first 3 seasons of this show, and it's very apparent that the Homelander character is deliberately imbued with recognizable psychological disorders that scream his name.
@@MajesticsTwelve Have you not watched the show that was being reacted to? The Homelander-Trump thing isn’t subtle
Billy Zane was not in The Mummy, that was Arnold Vosloo.
Billy Zane was in Dead Calm, Survival Island, Titanic, and Back to the Future part 2.
You are exactly right. People not only have the right to believe what they want to believe, as you said, but they DO believe what they want to believe, no matter how much it bothers certain types out there. For the overwhelming majority of people, the only reason they believe in whatever ancient superstitions they're into is because they were conditioned to believe it in their childhood. Had they grown up in some other place and time, they'd simply believe in something else. And the people trying to make their superstitions into laws, especially in a "free country" are really the worst of all.
Rain Man: is a 1988 film starring Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman. Hoffman plays a character called Ray who is diagnosed as an autistic savant. So imagine if you had a 4 Litre jar filled with jelly beans and it falls and smashes onto the floor; a character such as Ray can not only (just at a cursory glance) tell you the total number of beans, but the exact number of each color. There are many different types of savants with differing areas of hyper accelerated awareness. So when someone references Rain Man they mean the person is Stephen Hawking/albert Einstein level brilliant. Without even applying any effort.
I think you might enjoy Rain Man for a reaction. Why not give it a shot??
Rainman = someone with autism, but born with extraordinary abilities. (an idiot savant, basically). Hughie is untrained, but he is the spark that makes this edition of The Boys so effective. He's the MVP of the group.
dont trust anyone that says,
"hey bro, bring it in"
ok noted
Karl Urban has admitted that he LOVES playing Butcher. lol Now I'm wondering what would happen if you had a meeting between Butcher and Negan (from The Walking Dead). What would THAT look like?? LOL.
Negan's gonna be in season 4
@@kazeabby2400 True but he's not going to BE Negan; even IF they give his character some similar traits. Just like how Negan resembles the Comedian, but still not quite him. Know what I mean?? Like Soldier Not isn't"quite" Dean Winchester. I'd say he's Dean, without a sense of humor. lol. Even though Soldier Boy did have a solid music hit, back in the day, it's still not Dean singing "Eye of the tiger". You know?? lol. There's just enough to be familiar, but it's going to lack that little something that's needed. I'm just saying.
Way to go Vicky! I'm truly enjoying Your take on this Series! I hope You stick with it through all 3 Seasons! Keep up the good work on these Reaction Videos!
37:37 I think you mistaken Billy Zane to Arnold Vosloo (Imhotep from Mummy)
Better Call Saul soon? 🙏🙏🙏
I never even noticed the Ezekiel action figures before now. Or caught the implications of the Deep driving a Humvee. Good catches.
I really like the writing, the John Wayne line is an extremely apt analogy
Herogasm is coming.. the trauma is unavoidable..
Bruh is she even gonna make it through the first episode of season 3 lmaao
@@samuraishamploo3343heads haven't even started poppin yet 😂 I'm not sure she'll be able to endure meeting Termite..
The shock factor in that episode was mediocre at best, the fights were good however.
@@samuraishamploo3343You think she'll stop watching like Mary did?
Nah i think she'll power through it, shes reacted to some nasty stuff before, prob not on this level. She might need some therapy lmao @dwnkaomwn3953
That was why Homelander lost his sh!t, ironically the blanket was the only real thing from his childhood.
I am SO looking forward to your continued reactions here!!!
4:52 if you knew anything about child abuse in the church you would know that is the PERFECT place to say such a thing
14:24 - "Rain Man. I don't know what Rain Man is." - It's a 1988 movie starring Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman. They're brothers and Hoffman pays an autistic man who can't function in the real world, but who is excellent at certain things, like counting. When their father dies, Cruise basically kidnaps Hoffman, hoping to get a bigger inheritance. It's kind of a road trip movie.
15:24 - "This is a little much. He's acting like he is the chosen one." - Take away the costume and the flying, add about 30 years to his age, slap on some orange makeup, and you wouldn't be able to tell this scene apart from an actual Trump rally. Trump has even said that he is the chosen one.
47:32 - "Why is he immune to everything?" - Because he's indestructible and can level an entire city without breaking a sweat. How do you prosecute someone like that?
"I don't really know you" hits about as hard as "I'm not mad, I'm disappointed".
Every episode gets more funny and weird and disturbing at the same time
Fun Fact: Maeve's girlfriend also starred on Shadowhunters as Maryse Lightwood. Which is another series you might also like V. I recommend it highly.
“There was a time that I believed our encounter was consensual.” 😂
"Rain Man" (1988), Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise. It's an amazing movie.
Okay but the acting ???❤️ idk why but homelander and the deep ate my favs and I think it’s the way they are portrayed… there actors do such a great job
21:21 Baby Laser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Homelander is basically Superman without the freeze breath, that why he gets away with things
Time to watch Rain Man!
7:42 i am so happy you didn't censor butchers speech 😂
You should watch Rain Man. Great film!☺️👍
"It was on porpoise..." I'm ded
Frenchy and Kimiko are good for my soul ❤
They are genuinely in love, and both at least try to be better than they are. Sometimes they fail, but they aren't inherently cruel and selfish like so many of the other characters (Butcher for example puts his own vengeance ahead of the welfare of his supposed friends several times). Also, Karen Fukuhara is a sweetheart, a real bubbly personality.
The horrible thing about Homelander's childhood is not just that he grow up completely without a family/friends/love, the doctor's also tortured and abused him to see how strong he is.
They even had other Supes coming in his room and beat him up.
All that until he was 18 years old.
It continues to get better AND worse they just keep dialing everything up
This crowd is also my absolute nightmare lol, just thinking about being there makes me so uncomfortable.
This whole event and the people there make me so uneasy
Dam you and vkunia got something against god or sum?😂😂
What’s so wrong about people supporting what they believe in?
@@princeproductions8599 I'll give you a serious answer but I'm just talking for me, not for Vkunia.
For your first question, I don't have anything against god since I don't believe in the existence of a god or gods.
Regarding your second question, there's nothing wrong with that, but what's happening in this episode of The Boys (and what also happens in real life unfortunately) is more than people just gathering to support what they believe in. It's people thinking they are better than others because of their religion, it's people indoctrinating and "correcting" how children think instead of teaching them to think critically and form their own opinions, it's people trying to impose their morals onto others as if it was the law, it's people trying to "save" others who don't share the same beliefs, it's people who claim to preach love when they only spread intolerence.
I don't care about a person's religious beliefs as long as it doesn't become a harmful thing.
Now, of course I wouldn't go full Butcher either, especially in a gathering of the sort haha, that's too much
Okay I get that thank you
@@princeproductions8599 Hey, thanks for being understanding. By the way I don't mean any disrespect, in my book anybody is free to practice their religion as long as it doesn't hurt anybody :)
Oh V,
Black Noire is the lynchpin that ties it all together
Just you wait.
Rainman us as Dustin Hoffman, Tom Cruise movie where Dustin Hoffman (the "Rainman" of the title) is an autistic person who is a savant. Basically its saying you're really good at something but not very capable otherwise.
You don’t feel good about starlight and Huey because they’re secrets 51:23
Well now you have to do a reaction to "Rain Man" and I'm here for it!
i love the yap sessions in between the episodes cause i love ur voice (im in luv w u)
Rain Man was a movie with Dustin Hoffman who played an idiot savant. An idiot savant is someone who would be considered mentally challenged and yet a prodigy in math or statistics. You should give that movie a watch. It is very moving. 😅
Butcher using the supe baby as a weapon is right out of the Incredibles where Bob Parr was using Jak-Jak's eye beams as a weapon. Only Butcher actually did it to kill people. That was pretty sick. 😮
Rain Man STILL IS that movie 🙄
Rain Man (1988) is a movie starring Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman. It won all the Oscars and would make for a great reaction, you would absolutely love it.
The boys getting shocked that the lady is a terrorist when they've comited acts of terrorism themselves is always a bit ironic.
(Comedy and Action) Movies to watch: The Ringer, Date Night , Jo Koy Don't Make Him Angry Netflix, Fired up , Benchwarmers , Cellular , Fluffy's Magic Mike Story , Stadium Fluffy Netflix , Transporter 1-2-3, Strays , Knight and Day
34:14 The Support group's my Favorite scene in the series 😱🤌🏾
Can't believe Butcher is the guy who replaced Heimdall in Thor : Ragnarok 😭
@@cytaldeeartist Karl Urban, the actor who plays Butcher, plays the character Skurge in Thor Ragnarok. Skurge is who Loki gave Heimdall's job to after he replaced Odin with himself.
He literally didn't replace Heimdall. Heimdall was in the movie and had more lines than Urban. Also, the only reason he "replaced" Heimdall is because Loki screwed everything up and banished Heimdall.
“RainMan” is a movie that you must react to. It is so good. Starring a young Tom Cruise & young Dustin Hoffman.
Im not spoiling, but u must see post Credits scenes in some chapters (the first one its in the last episode of this season)
12:35 "your blood pressure is 150/90, its a bit high." Damn I need to go see a doctor then lmao
A Vkunia upload? blessed.
The Boys diabolical, has an episode of Homelander backstory
"That guy from The Mummy... Billy Zane!" 😂😂😂
Arnold Vosloo and Billy Zane have a running joke about getting mistaken for each other.
I love how homelanders greatest rival is a baby 🤣
4:35...I can't be arsed looking it up, and I've had a couple, but is that Mac?
You are a dynamic and marvelous person.
time for a Rain Man reaction video!
When Amy says "The exit ramp approaches, so have the Gravy Train ready!" will always be a personal fav.
Lol billy zane wasnt in the mummy 😅😅 and thats haley joel osment
I don't see anything wrong with compound Vee.😂❤
I'm a religious person myself and I find this kind of commercialized Christianity a real turn off (in the show and IRL). Makes me think of when Christ threw the moneychangers out of the temple. Sincere faith is simple and doesn't need spectacle or merch etc.
So true
Nor, does it need any kind of religion. At least not one of the Abrahamic religions. And if you need the reasons for that explained then, you are one of those reasons. But yeah, faith is fine, so long as it stays out of the lives of anyone who isn't part of it.
3:11 that face 🤣🤣
more the boys let's go!
6:33 I think that is the actual comic.
To all my non-Christians, do y'all try to convert other people to your religion? I know Jews and Muslims kinda do, but not actively, or they just accept it when people join their religion. Christians will actively shame you into submission. Without having absolute memorization of knowledge and stuff, they'll just gaslight you into thinking they're right. I would know...
The show is so great, but your reactions are and will be even better! Can't wait for all the crazy shit to happen. 👌😁
I love Queen Maeve, she’s one of my favorite characters in the show
*when a karen watches the boys*
#StopSmearingTheNameKaren
I appreciate you and thank you for making content.
Fun fact: Seth Rogen is an executive producer of the show.
Keep up the pace VKUNIA!
Thank you for continuing with Better Call Saul!
If you want a peak into Homelander's past and the only depiction of one so far, you'll have to watch the last episode of The Boys: Diabolical Animated Series. The spin off is small and I feel in good taste and is famous for having 7 episodes all animated by different people in 7 different distinct styles! A definite must watch if you like the way this show uses it's main and side characters
I don’t know if you take UA-cam recommendations but I’d love to see a reaction to the 2009 film Brothers with Jake Gyllenhaal and Toby Maguire
Rain Man is a great movie.
Lol its funny that Kimiko getting basically cut in half and regenerating is "Ending an episode on a good note"😂 this show is nuts.
Will she bless us with Better Call Saul soon? 🤞😇
i hope so
Probably after The Boys.
Probably when she's ready.
Actually - in my personal experience - revenge and lashing out anger IS the best way to move passed shit. Talking helps to the sum of ZERO. Because once it's done; it's done. talking only KEEPS a trauma close because some dumbass psychiatrist thinks THEY - a person who didn't go through what you did - knows better than YOU do, so the keep persisting that you talk about it and when you TRY to move on and get passed it they just bring it up again. Psychiatry is all about poking the bear and conditioning that bear to remain submissive. If the bear gets angry at being poked then just drug them into a near catatonic state until they are utterly submissive.
Can you tell that I HATE psychiatrists?? LOL.
