Just got my 1997 S&M Sabbath frame back that I bought from Dan's Comp in 1997 from my friend, I drove almost 800 miles both ways to get her back, 💯 % putting her back together and it's getting painted OG blood red! I can't stop staring at her! I've owned a ton of BMX/Flatland Frames, but this frame is overall my absolute favorite!

Drg quad saw, they still sell the 2x4 pads, just got some in clear. Fire, modern, midschool build. Needed a hemroid seat, and Freimuth wore a hat like Taj, as a visor. We sell the Primo comet, wheelchair tires at my shop, also the comet tire was Taj’s signature tire when it first dropped. Thanks, Vu

96/97 sabbath bloody sabbath red colour is the bomb. Saw the unicorn at 5500 on bmx museum. Man that was my step up from a heavy weight haro sport. Just rebuilding a sport in perth and got a super sweet dirt bike.💪

BMX riders were strong as hell back in the day. We had to huch these massive bikes around and that definitely took some muscle. I'm not sad about the technology getting better and the bikes getting lighter as I get older.

Remember like every peg had those grooves in them in shiny chrome or other colors and kink had those solid raw black pegs. I thought they were street af back then. Then they had the ones that tapered in in the middle to save weight. Great time for bmx

I still have my late 90's S&M Dirtbike with Perigrine Phat Jack wheels. Haven't touched it much in 20 years. My son has ridden it here and there.

Bro! I remember those Sabbath frames. And I had the Primo Casket stem on one of my old mid school bikes (I think it was on a Standard Trail Boss) and I broke it haha. That’s funny that it’s on this bike. It’s the Primo Stogies pegs. I had those too. I used to have the Peregrine Phat Jacks wheels, they had 12 gauge spokes and hubs were slotted 14mm. Wish I could go back in time and collect all the cool parts I had. Now I just ride modern stuff.

How about doing a DK S.O.B.? That was a heavy bike......bikes were built burly back then. A 45lb bike was not unusual in that era. It was a fun era for BMX though, especially in the UK where i am. The progression of BMX bike designs over the decades is an interesting one. It's come around full circle back to its simplest form. Light, simple double diamond frames, 36 spoke wheels and two piece bars. BMX bikes are at their most stripped down simple form right now and weigh less than half of that big 'ole Sabbath there. It's a beast.
That bike reminds me of S&M video 4. That was a good BMX vid from that era of bikes and riding.

I had one of these 45lbs monstrosities, traded it for a Nirve. Also had the Moe bars in chrome, when they bent I got the Mirra bars, and I had a way over built back wheel with a profile 6 bearings hub, acs 3/16 16t freewheel, Alex triple wall supra e 48 hole, 12 gauge spokes, 200mm solid 14mm axle. everyone's bikes were crazy heavy, when the bikes started to get lighter I was afraid they'd explode on me
