Making custom doll stands for my BJDs

- This week I'm sharing how I'm making stands for all my BJDs :D I think this will work for all of them except Rune, who has always been kinda wonky in the hips and knees and will probably need something different if I can't fix that with his WIP mods.
Total cost for a stand: 3 to 4 dollars.
Time to make one: Less than five minutes.
I purchased my supplies from Michaels.

Wonderful idea!!!! I love that there isn't any wires to scratch the dolls. So smart and simple!!!!!! Thanks for sharing. This is the best Idea I've seen yet. And I have seen a lot of them!!!!
This is GENIUS! I'm always struggling to find stands to hold my soom dolls. You can find lots of tall stands but finding ones with a big enough base for their giant bird/goat/dragon feet is actually pretty hard. With this method I can just make them a nice stand.
You just gave me an idea with what to do with my spare paper towel holder! 😊
This sounds like a great project. I'm sold. Thanks for the idea!
Great doll stands. Nice work and thank you sharing.
Really nice and usefull tutorial, that can be used with a lot of dolls. Thank you
"Boys don't have a big enough gap between the thighs..." so they thicc 👀🤣
Definitely gonna do this, I love that you can customize them more than the plain metal ones.
I was just considering dropping some $$$ for a only a few doll stands, this is much more economical option. Thank you so much for this video!🥰🥰
Fantastic! My doll just face planted the table and sealant chipped off his nose 😭. I’m now looking for a stand to avoid this in future! And will have to try and repair him.
for the vinyl, you can use blue painters tape ( stick it to your skin a few times to make it less sticky) as a transfer tape, or you can get really cheep transfer tape from the dollar store
I did that on the later stands using washi tape! I just didn't have any when filming. Sometimes my ideas take off before I have all the tools, I guess.
@@LomisPlayground lol I can relate
what a great idea! I've been uming and aring about buying some stands lately but I may give this a go instead 😁 (especially since my 1/3 scale resin girl wont stand on her own at all 😅)
Cute idea!! It seems fairly easy to make as well! Thank you!
That's a really good idea with the ribbon....
Very creative, I think the dollar store might have these wooden plaques
Wonderful!!
such a clever idea! I love this, it allows for so much more customisation and personalisation! awesome!
Such a great idea and tutorial
Wow, your craftiness is impressive! I just love that you're putting their names on them. It's totally something I would do.😁
Such a great idea!!! 💕
Thank you so much!
So so so cool!
So clever!!!
Great idea... Thank you so much!
featuring Bucket Rune
Such a great idea! I spent $100 on 4 dolls stands for my SD girls, this would have been a lot cheaper 🤣. I think I’ll use this method to create stands for my smaller dolls though 💜
I just bought wooden dowels for another art project, maybe I'll make one... (right now I use a 17" MH doll stand for my MSD girl - clipped onto one thigh).
