At 3:10 ... quick note for people.. the temp & ph probe are viewed by many as the MOST important part of apex , as it allows you to monitor and recieve notifications on your tanks general health from anywhere in the world. On a basic tank.. Temp will kill everything in your tank quicker than anything else, and heaters are the most commonly malfunctioned & replaced items in the hobby.
PH ..if you have corals ..is the difference between a barely surviving and thriving tank.

At 11:30 ... an rodi system should be the first thing you get if you are going to keep any size reef tank.. for topoff and making saltwater. water changes are the main filtration on small tanks.. and you don't want to haul buckets.. or rely on a business being open to get saltwater in an emergency.
