Thankyou both for the lovely video, GJ is one of the best David Austin Roses, I just love the colour, yours looks so pretty, this has got to be in the top ten, I’d recommend if you’ve never grown a rose make this your first you won’t regret it.Hope you both ok 😀👍xx
I think they like the humidity and I’m sure you allready know to fertilize after every bloom or month I just learned that. I love how you explain things I thought if you change the dirt like every 4 years you can keep them going and I will love to see the hall garden in spring I live in your area and if they get morning sun they will be ok
regarding containers, i have a garden where although we have good soil there's not alot of depth before hitting hardcore, i get round this by having large containers, but, i cut out a whole in the bottom so the roots can stil reach the soil beneath and benefit from it.
GJ does have an outstanding bloom quality! Because yours is in a container, do you have a more frequent feeding regimen? I may get one and plug it in a part shade area...since that's all the space I have left. Thanks for sharing
I started to follow you as I m a rose person . I try to see if I can grow the climbing roses in southern California . My are is shaded and hope to see the bloom. I have to do some researching before I start to grow. Your channel may help me , I hope😊

Is there some way you attach it to your vinyl fence? I’m hoping to have one by mine but wasn’t sure how to keep it close to the fence :)

How do you take care of your roses in winter, particularly the ones you keep in pots?
Could you recommend any particular spray to prevent all of the diseases that GJ is susceptible to?
Just go my GJ, and I plan to put it in a pot :)🥰
