I just tried the 3 corporate videos idea and cold emailed an electric bike company near me. They responded quickly and said they want to work with me. Thank you for the tips Brandon!
@@marquesejames9165 when you email a company you want to work for, you have to make sure that they need video work to market themselves. And as Brandon said a lot of companies need those 3 types of corporate videos. I emailed a new electric bike company franchise in town because I saw they did not have any videos for this location, but the company does at other locations. I reached out to the owner and she is nice and has been great to work with. I am going to do a testimonial, about us, and event video for a biking thing they have with like 100 people. So just to recap, when you reach out for video work to a company, research them and understand what their needs are. Then present yourself as someone helping them to market their business. Because at the end of the day, the video you make is to help them get more customers. You are not only the DP but also the director for the shoot with your client being the executive producer. Hope this helps :)
@@jedvolkmanfilms5284 congrats and thank you for sharing. that so dope. im in a bike city and even if its not bikes Brandon blessed us with some great ideas
Brandon, thank you for your great videos. Even though I'm an Old School Pro Filmmaker, grew up on 35mm motion picture film, Writer Director Producer, I learned some new direct methods that can apply to our fit. My wife and I both Write , Produce and Direct Features and Docs. We 're starting a new show which your hints will help us. As always I enjoy your videos. Peace and Keep Filming.
im so happy to have come across this vid! I definitely am going to offer the About, testimonials, and ads/content! I'm getting my first client (after doing free jobs). I also enjoy the advice to have a channel not on video. i've been split about which to focus on. Thanks man!
Straight to the point, well edited and seriously informative! Thank you for this! There are a few I never knew about. You definitely earn your subscribers.
Thank you for this! This is excellent (and actionable) information for people who are just starting out in their videography career. Well done. You've got another subscriber!
This really motivates me to go out and start working with my entry level aps-c camera. I actually have done one corporate video and got paid quite well but I wasn't really satisfied with it since I'm a much better photographer than a videographer. Thanks for the video!
Bro! I can't believe I said "Bro". For real that was one of the best 'how to' videos that I have ever watched. You kept my interest until the end, and most importantly, your subject & content was on point, especially for a cinematographer who wants to make it his full time gig. I have tried the whole passive income with stock footage but as you know it can be a nightmare and time-consuming. After kissing your ass I'm going to wire stock to give it a try, wish me luck. I subscribed, thank you.
That's it. We are changing from a film channel to a waffle channel!!! 😅 Great video! I used the link and will finally start uploading stock. Maybe I'll hire my nephew to go through the hard drives? haha
Thanks for telling me to use filmmaking skills in a niche that's not about filmmaking. Phew. It sounds obvious, but I didn't think about it. Thanks. Great vid! All of em were helpful
quick question: How do you make the tiktoks and reels for clients? Do you just take footage and edit it all in Premiere including the music? Do you stock music or pull from tiktok and IG somehow? Thanks in advance.
I have 2 clients on an RCP now that are independent creators/exotic dancers (don’t at me) but what would you find a good rate to be for retainer clients?
Only thing I hate about real estate photography some markets want you to do floor plans. It seems to be the North East that I know about. In Florida real estate photographers are not ask to do floor plans. From what I heard floor plans are not hard to do. But you better not make a mistake because you can devalue a home so you need insurance to cover yourself.
Thanks for jumping straight in! Do you have a video on the one lens you need to get started? I have a 50mm looking to get a 28mm or 35mm and gymbal. 🙏🏽
Thanks nice content! Hey questions, how do you make that video checklist design at 3:50 , do you use template or do you make it yourself in Aftereffects or Motion? Thanks
Thank you for your great way of teaching us how to do things the right way I with my wife have a Cooking Channel which is establish I think since it three years ago and I've been trying to find many ways how to promote this channel and to make it more professional the problem as a photographer for me I have ideas on how to shoot cookie video and some techniques which MyWife think that long video is the right way for me make it short and give what do you think the easiest way to cook this dish and a nice pretty way with lots of shots for steps and finally showing the final dish. But I want to know we're not able to have that much subscribers I need some advice from you on what should I do to get this channel Moore mobile and get more subscribers I love food I love photography I know how to cook and MyWife also know how to cook but she have her own techniques and I have mine I don't want to do by the channel but make it more professional from the way the house looks and what is give to people and how to learn how to cook different types of this finally thank you and have a good day.
I needed to watch this today. I've been doing photos since 2016, started video in 2020. Just booked my first wedding at the end of last year and will shoot it on April 30th. But what I REALLY want to do is commercial videos. Daniel Schiffer-style ads, interviews, etc. But how do I get there> Like how do I get that first client? By day I'm a professional copywriter so essentially I want to start a marketing agency with a heavy focus on photo/video. Any tips/help/classes that would help would be amazing. Love the channel and have been watching since you and homie did the FX6 vs C70 video!
It is important that you have your own insurance before you do something like this. and for higher priced gear you can request that they have production insurance.

I’d love to know how to structured your cold email. I’m having problems here

What’s the minimum age requirement to do this 7:23 and get paid, for both USA & UK?
Halfway and I can’t help appreciate this video, Thank you!
I have no experience, a brand new A7C, and a new Weebill 😤. I feel so behind.
Hahaha I love your beginning, straight to the point 🤣

That non-filmmaking UA-cam niche is a great idea!
Sometimes I wish this is what I would have done!
Best UA-cam intro ever
Some great information here. Thanks so much for sharing.
When I run I Video production company how can I open a UA-cam channel that kind of fits to that ?
I love love this

Is it possible to start with real estate and use your iPhone for video shooting?
quick question: How do you make the tiktoks and reels for clients? Do you just take footage and edit it all in Premiere including the music? Do you stock music or pull from tiktok and IG somehow? Thanks in advance.
I heard Instagram doesn't push your reels when they are not edited with their native app... So idk how this can affect
I love this video bro!! The missing link to my video business. Would you happen to have a video that breaks down the price structure for these tips?
Tip 5 is the best!
Yup I’m in the real estate world haha, I saw you rocking the Komodo for interior exterior stuff what lens was thst on the end
Tip #5 is the best ...

Best advice ever ❣️

This was so valuable!!! Bro, 🙏🏾!! 🔥🔥
Nice on bro. Thanks
Very helpful, thank you.
Thanks for the informative video!
Amazing 👏🏽 Thank you, I always doubted some of these services you just spoke about....lol but you eyebrows kept distracting me hahahahaha
It’s got a mind of its own.
I’m wondering, which video production service is the most profitable when taking into account production and post-production time? 🤔
editing time is often the major time consumer but you can always get an editor.
Outsource editing to free up more time to get more jobs overall
How do you recommend getting clients when it comes to weddings
I want to see your drone shot of the biker going down the hill Brandon! hahaha
Oh, one question. How do I know how much to charge? broad I know, thanks.
I have tried going to your wedding and real estate video courses. It tells me an error has occured and the website dosen't exist.
You have an amazing mind…
Im here because JT Automations recommended you (He talks and pauses his videos WAAY TOO MUCH, so I came straight here).
Hello! I want to ask you about Wirestock. Do you have any sales from the Extra Channels?
Only thing I hate about real estate photography some markets want you to do floor plans. It seems to be the North East that I know about. In Florida real estate photographers are not ask to do floor plans.
From what I heard floor plans are not hard to do. But you better not make a mistake because you can devalue a home so you need insurance to cover yourself.
The Ronin Gimbal and Frameworks Boom Mic Arm links were omitted from your gear list.
Thanks for jumping straight in! Do you have a video on the one lens you need to get started? I have a 50mm looking to get a 28mm or 35mm and gymbal. 🙏🏽
What brand of gimbal is that?
Great video there, thanks

Can’t trust renting out my gear, the companies aren’t liable for stolen gear
