- Extended handcrafted edition of the recently released main theme of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, set to the footage of Fatshark's gameplay trailers, cinematics etc.
Changes:
- The chorus is replaced with the one from the Rejects Will Rise outro as I find it to be of cleaner quality than the one Fatshark actually provided.
- Chorus is implemented three times into the track, intersecting it between different sequences. The whole remix is then looped three times.
- Boring ambient intro is cut out (seriously, same thing happens in the Chaos Wastes OST, put the good stuff first)

At this point Fatshark should just rely on you for the trailers. This sequence is getting me zealous for slaughter of the Emperor's enemies. Well done indeed
Though this is mainly just a combination of trailers put into one sequence, a smooth sequence so nobody would notice but it becomes noticeable when you've seen how the trailers were released.
This is sounding like it's going to be the best 40K soundtrack since Mechanicus.

@@sprksmr7208 DoW2 is best DoW but it doesn't hold a candle to Darktide or Mechanicus' OSTs. DoW2's music is generic epic action game music. There's nothing particularly Warhammer-y about it. You may as well just listen to Two Steps From Hell.

Nurgle is all about that capering to the tune of a fiddle business. You can just see the plaguebearers and nurglings cavorting to this jam.
Fat shark should add an Easter egg where we see red eyes glinting in a vent for a second or just straight up a skull or noises

Space Cocaine is one hell of a drug.
God, this theme captures the atmosphere so well. You are no superhuman Space Marine, world-bending Primaris Psyker, Rogue Trader or Inquisitor - just one amongst trillions of normal humans of 40k, competent but still leagues below the Big Guys of the setting, and you got to fight your way through overwhelming odds with stakes being higher than just your life and soul - but those of a *few billions* inhabitants of Tertium, at the very least. Like, practically every similar game has you dragging the world out of the gates of doom on your shoulders, but Darktide with it's design\music kinda shows just what a monumental burden this is.
Also, kinda love your version even more than original, Rejects Will Rise outro chorus mixes just so damn well with it!
This is why i hope they never let a space marine be playable. Maybe have them come in for a mission to help at the end of one as npcs but never be playable. Your not suppose to be the big boys.
This is a beautifully worded comment, and it absolutely sums up the inspiration and the horror that are so prevalent 40k.

What do you mean boring intro? You need contrast so the drop will feel even better. Like at the beginning of the track i feel like our squad is exploring around and then around 1.20 we learn that shit is gonna hit the fan.

Try start at 0:28, just when the lady starts to sing. There is a subtle rhythm that almost anchors to the poem.

At first I didn't care for it but this song is growing on me, I think its trying to capture the sheer insanity of this universe.
It begins with a violion and a choral cry, this symbolizes hopelessness.
Then begins the rising frenzied voices, percussion, discordant sounds, this is the madness of the warp, and the zealots who fight it.
Then finally it ends in a gregorian chant and fades off, not all is lost, the imperium has stood for ten thousand years but its dying

Thanks for the remix! I actually really like the slow build-up intro. Kinda like the original "The Only Thing They Fear Is You" from Doom, before it was cut right into the chorus for the OST.

I really want a Starcraft version of Darktide where you could be either as a Marine (Tank role), Storm Trooper (Assault role), Spectre (Psyionic specialist) and Ghost (Infiltrator/Scout/Sniper role)
OR
Marine (Jack-Of-All-Trades-Master-Of-None unit), Marauder (Anti-Armor), Firebat (Anti-Personel), Spectre / Ghost (Psyonic, ranged, ironicly they are the easiest to kill since they don't use armored power suit like the previous three, but have more special abilities than them, so a glass cannon type of unit)
You could assault Zerg infested Terran bases or clear out their hives.
The default enemy could be infested terrans since they slower and weaker than even Zerglings, and makes sense for the infested Terran base scenario
The idea and everything for it is there, someone just needs to "forge" it together

First off, mods have limits, second darktide literally has so much stuff added and changed some features too. The melee is somewhat kept the same. So why change it when people don't have a problem.
