I feel like the Pale Garden needs some ambient ruins. Not some big house or anything, but like how Mega Taigas can have mossy boulders, have there be bits of broken structures to sell that it was once an actual garden.

A new structure called the “Pale shack” could be interesting adding a chest only openable at night encouraging the player to go in at night (chest crafted with basic chest pattern with creaking heart in the centre)
They should make a new pale garden village type that looks abandoned in the day, but where non-sleeping villagers appear at night. They could be passive, but unsettling in some way, and should have a couple unique trades (maybe having something to do with the creaking heart). Maybe there is a locksmith villager who can convert keys from the trial chambers into keys that can be used with doors and chests.
Mojang should add Trail Ruins to the Pale Gardens with a custom loot table for the sus blocks. That would then allow us to call them the Pale Trail Ruins.. :)

In the realism add on they have like abandoned structures and I think they would look really good in this biome. Really ominous, truly they should change the shape of the tree. The fact that is a recolored dark oak is just lazy :/
It'd be nice if there was an abandoned village with poorly made graves randomly placed in it and a single skeleton skull in the middle implying the villagers were slowly killed off and buried till just one remained who couldn't bury himself. Extra points if there's suspisous sand and stuff so you can get some archeology loot

I say for future drops they should add more structures like that and just more variety of structures. Like small jungle temples like we have now and huge ones. The desert villages are the only ones with different structure and shape, they should spread that out some more like tree houses in the jungle and such.
Yea, i think they should have called it the willow tree/logs/wood but they probably want to future proof in case they want to make a colourful willow, so they could call it pale willow

Idea for a structure. A creepy wich-style house with a bunch (like 5-6) heart pillars hidden around. If you visit it at day - you just explore it like nothing, and then the night comes - a group of creakers spawn around you.
@wattlesplays One other thing about the pale moss carpet if it grows over a door then it makes it so you can't open it from the outside. You have to open it from the inside. Same thing for trapdoors.

Cause if they’re going for an organic it-just-formed-that-way thing, that totally works for the first one you come across…but then it becomes super artificial/immersion-breaking when they ALL just so happened to form in that exact way. At the very least have a mirror image of it as a variant.
I think it would be cool if the creaking worked kinda like a dry bones from mario. Or maybe the more you hit it, the more it will crack, and that causes it to be slower or maybe deal less damage, but it still won't die. The creaking heart will heal it and go back to normal. Braking the heart will still kill ot though. (But if they did add this, they would have to make the creaking do alot more damage than half a hear.

Xisuma made a parkour race using a similar mace wind charge mechanic with armor stands. I guess the armor stands don't move on you when you look away from them, so it's still a cool idea for a mini game.
I like to think the creaking was always here in the distance in Minecraft worlds, every update is just players crossing the horizon to make new discoveries. And when we find an invincible being, we just put it to torture with drowning and lava pits, no wonder the creaking is so angry. A true age of discovery.
I see what you're saying about the trees but it still does not work it can't be a dark oak forest variant with a new tree structure. That's the only thing it has in common with the dark oak biome... so the lore / connection would not work. I think they should add another tree shape but not here. new biome. I'd love to see willow trees in like the swamp.
there need to be 2x2 for all the tree types. 2x2 oak, you get a sprawling large beech with broad far reaching limbs that would be good for building a tree house 2x2 birch, becomes a Willow, that has an umbrella shaped canopy with drooping trailing bits 2x2 accacia should turn into a boabob tree, again with branching limbs but a more flat canopy 2x2 propagules could become a Banyan tree, a massive sprawling version of the mangrove. (big enough to easily put a whole treehouse in or the core of a base. The single saplings of the Dark Oak and Light oak could grow into smaller medium-ish trees sorta like the azalea tree grown from the azalea bush, but it would cooler if it was a 2 or 3 block tall bonsai looking sort of thing that would be great for decorating.
IMO, the trees should be able to vary how they grow; Like some grow similar to what you said, a 2x2 acacia tree, but other could grow similar to how they are right now.
To add to the abandoned house idea, put a trap door in the back corner of the house to introduce players to the crawling mechanic to escape out the hole

My Idea, since sniffers can dig in moss, what if a sniffer with pail moss could dig up two new plants that are desaturated. And what if there was some lore behind the sniffer and the pail garden. You could find a ruin or something like the under water ruins and get a pail sniffer egg or something like that.

Hopefully, they allow an infinite height of pale moss. In terms of the Mossy Cobblestone block, if moss interacts with Cobblestone it creates mossy cobble. Naturally.
Personally, I think the Pale Garden needs to be rare and large with ruins littered around the biome and some kind of centerpiece structure. Essentially, a surface version of the Deep Dark. Would make the Creaking a lot more dangerous and scary, making you navigate around small buildings to reach the Creaking Hearts while he follows you out of rooms.
Pale moss should overtake all blocks and get a hue change based on what blocks it overtakes. This could allow for crafting new color moss carpets and those vines can be all different colors too. I also think the creaking heart should drop something you can use to craft something that protects you from the creaking from noticing you. This I just want for a custom map lol. They should have a structure in the biome too that spawns right in the center. It looks like something magical that is stealing the health away from the forest. I think a significantly larger tree with multiple creaking hearts as well as some other heart colored looking blocks for decoration.
In my opinion the creaking needs a HUGE buff. It’s not even a threat. It needs to do double or even triple the damage, it needs to be a lot faster, and I feel like an animation rework should happen. And also make the head move 👍
I feel like the creaking should also have some unique abilities like the warden like casting blindness or tracking the sent of players like no matter how far you are it will follow where you originally where to where you are now
moss mining and sculc mining are similar, but i hoped that pale moss is better than usual moss. usual moss is bas because moss dont occupy walls and celling, so u have to pre-mine area. sculc mining seems to be inpractical 'cus u need to feed it with dead mobs. pale moss can visually infect walls, but it dont turn stone into moss FOR WALLS
Thunderstorms just make it dark enough for hostile mobs to spawn. That's why the creaking can spawn during thunderstorms, it's not that creaking have special spawn rules for it. Unless you're saying that creaking will spawn in thunderstorms without the need for a heart block and that would just be too annoying.

My question is what’s the point of the creaking in a singleplayer world? Having a mob that can be used to prank friends sounds fun in multiplayer, but is ultimately useless in singleplayer. It would be nice if it had some type of drop or other use for those of us who don’t have friends who play Minecraft 😭
I was just wondering if there are other mobs around, specifically skeletons, and they try to shoot you with an arrow and they hit the creaking...will the creaking attack them or will it only attack the player. Just a thought :) thanks.

Thunderstorms just make it dark enough for hostile mobs to spawn. That's why the creaking can spawn during thunderstorms, it's not that creaking have special spawn rules for it. Unless you're saying that creaking will spawn in thunderstorms without the need for a heart block and that would just be too annoying.
@@matthewlofton8465 I’m not saying it spawns without a creaking heart, but Incase you didn’t know the creaking doesn’t spawn based on light level. So the devs must have gone out of their way to also spawn it in storms
My question is, if there can be more than one creaking heart within the 32 spawn radius, would this increase the reach the creaking mob has or would it spawn in two of them?
My question is what’s the point of the creaking in a singleplayer world? Having a mob that can be used to prank friends sounds fun in multiplayer, but is ultimately useless in singleplayer. It would be nice if it had some type of drop or other use for those of us who don’t have friends who play Minecraft 😭

Im not 100% sure but I think if the creaking is underwater for long enough, it will die. Idk if it just if you spawn it in creative though.
What if you strip one of the pale oak logs at night? Would the heart become inactive and stop the creaking?

I was just wondering if there are other mobs around, specifically skeletons, and they try to shoot you with an arrow and they hit the creaking...will the creaking attack them or will it only attack the player. Just a thought :) thanks.

I’m not normally a “this has no use so it bad” kinda guy but… I mean… there is near no reason to go into a pale forest. The wood is eh and that’s it, there’s nothing but wood. I don’t even need new items all I want are items I’d want so I actually have a reason to go inside one of these
