- Obviously I love this car so much but here's 5.5 things that I wish I could change! Let me know what you think was ridiculous or funny.

Any latest news on your X5 M? Cool car! Upgrades? New exhaust piping? Or other enhancements?
not much! the vehicle is going back in a year so I decided to leave it as is. I did put all seasons and my winter set up on for the rest of the lease though.

Sounds like a girl’s complaints about an X5M, not to be a dick, but these complaints about the truck are kind of minimal and not something I think I’d care about once owning this marvelous piece of machinery.
Omg I know exactly what u mean! I have a 17 x5m, it’s to quite, brakes are sooooo squeaky and annoying! Bmw dealer said “ they are performance brakes” so they are going to squeal and squeak and nothing can be done, I told them if someone bought this car in 2017 brand new, it would sound like that!!?? Hell no it wouldn’t, has to be a fix! It’s getting to the point of selling the dam x5!
With the windows up I never hear em haha but once its cracked open, I can't stop listening to it

Jesse Fung I told dealer there is no way they sold this car new squeaking like this, if it were a minor squeak I would be fine, but it’s so loud and constant, by buddy said he changed to cheaper pads, more brake dust, but no squeak, I would take that route any day because I’m literally listing my x5m for sale because this issue,

How many flat tires so far? How many of those were completely flat where the rim was touching ground?
None were actually touching the ground because I live near many tire shops so I usually get em temporarily patched/ plugged very soon after the tire light comes on

lol get a downpipe, clean your steering wheel with a microfiber cloth, but some of your points are valid, but guess what, you forget about all of these issues you don't like when you floor it. lol, enjoy your SAV.

The OEM tires are NOT run flats.

Ceramic brakes: you need to brake hard and dry the brakes when wet. Don’t let the brakes stay wet. The pads self-modulate to dry, you need to assist them. Also, don’t stop when the brakes are hot, you need to cool them down. If the noise is persistent, take it to the mechanics at bmw to fix/replace and then treat them correctly.

Run flats are stupid with out spare
Yes you can drive on a flat for 50 miles but you will have to replace that tire it's junk
I drive 740 and I replaced all run flats after they worn with regular tires
And carry repair kit and small compressor in. Trunk
Run flats will crack your rims if you hit something
I agree, if this wasn't a lease I would do the same. I ended up getting winter tires for the winter though in NY

X5m does not come with run flats. If you have run flats on no wonder the ride is horrible even in comfort. This car is not meant to have run flats
not sure why the factory came with them!

Jesse Fung You dont get it do you. You wanted the (X5) NOT M!! M is for humans that know what M stands for. You only revealed yourself as an impostor. Please stick to Mini Vans Sir, it'll hold much luggage, also huge family can seat comfortably in those trips you so desire. Other M owners will be wrenching, or at track.
@@thinktank8389 X5M definitely out handles most SUVs but when compared to other M's, my buddies' M3, M4, M5 F90 are next level on the track as they should be. Will be downsizing to a X3M or GLC63S next
@@WrxJessegb I thought the review was informative, if a slightly unusual camera angle. I'm thinking about one of these but after watching a few owner reviews like yours I'm leaning towards an Alpina B7.

You should check out some AMG / JEEP SRT Exhausts, they're pretty great!

Pro's and Con's to the brakes..... Ceramic technology is not meant to be quiet. It's meant to stop and stop well. BMW cannot just simply say "Let's make it quieter"..... That's not how ceramic brakes work...
It's leather, leather absorbs oil.
You are complaining about not being loud enough, comparing it to an M5 Comp of all things. Then you are complaining about it not being comfortable enough. Which do you want?
A 550 and the X5 M are completely different animals.
Good points. At the end of the day X5M is the favorite car I ever owned.
Bro, brakes screech because it's saying (Repair Me NOW!! I'm loud). New brakes will cure that, or get long screwdriver and carefully pry gov. Out a little. But if you ignore that noise, don't do what I said. You dont belong in that beast. You've really no clue about cars do ya.urr
